.:Main Contest Information:. PLEASE READ EVERYTHINGBelow are the Parents and your werewolf brother. I say parents instead of family since this union was not actually the nicest of unions. It was a heavy plot union we had started many years ago that finally got a breeding about two years ago and we never quite finished it though we had the ground work set. The parents are going in very different directions and will not likely see each other again.
Note: Sadly the owner of the mother has unfortunately left Gaia B/C entirely which is why I have three foals to give away instead of just two. --- .:: The Parents & Brother ::. Lycaon: Is a fallen arcadian king who lost all fifty of his children. swearing revenge against tall the gods. Lycaon is one of those individuals whom you don't want to cross. Lycaon will see you dead in ground if you cross him. He has a charming facade, and seems to be slow to anger, he'll keep his facade up for a long as possible he enjoys watching those suffer like he has to suffer every day in his current form, however as a king he was adaptive to the situations of his people, this is no different he's learned to use his curse to his advantage. His greatest goal is to wipe out all the gods declaring war on them all.
exclaim NOTE: Lycaon was cursed in a wolf form BEFORE falling into the world by Zeus. He became a wolfshifter when he fell gaining his starborn form. Therefore still regards his new ability as a curse but is not in fact cursed.
Chiyo: Is gentle demure and loves song. Chiyo Hail's from a group of priestesses that carry prayers up to a large tree and tie them to it so the wind could take it to the Gods. Chiyo has her 'sister's' somewhere in the world. they are other priestesses that also carry prayers from everywhere and tie them to the tree. Chiyo's inspiration came from the Japanese tying prayers to the legs of cranes.
Kaukon: From the moment he was born he caught his father's eye. Kaukon is the first Heir To Lycaon's ambition. He was named after one of Lycaon's former sons. And he'll be groomed steadily as he grows. .:: About the Plot ::.How the Parents met - Chiyo, foolishly mistaking an Algol for an actual corpse inciting it's wrath and the charming Lycaon came to her rescue. After being saved Chiyo sweet as she was foolishly fell for her new knight. For a sort time she had a fairy tale romance but it was all a front.
What was to Happen After - Lycaon was going to become less and less sweet to Chiyo once his children were born. Clearly favoring the one with a pelt. Chiyo was to realize how terrifying Lycaon actually was and how foul his ambitions and flee with the remaining children seeking the safety of Llyn Dinas. -

Which Foal: youngest boy
Name & Meaning: Tatewaki (bringing a sword)
Owner: Nikkichomp
Personality Blurb: Untrusting, aloof, and cynical. He carries a lot of trust issues due to both of his parents' behaviors and takes a long time to warm up to newcomers as a result. However, he is fiercely protective of his sisters and will protect them even when he doesn't agree with them, and if anyone manages to worm their way into his heart the same will go for them. His disdain does extend to his pelted brother, although he feels that way without ever having met the poor boy. Ultimately, he wants to find a reason to believe in the goodness of others but no one has shown him any reasons, so the doors of his heart remain walled in tightly until the day someone breaks through them.

Entry: Tatewaki sneered as he watched his mother. When the four of them had left his father and brother, he'd been mostly relieved, but the resulting peace and quiet had given him time to think and process his feelings. His sorrow and contempt he felt for his father deepened and solidified. How dare he treat us like that! Aren't parents supposed to love *all* their children? But no, we weren't good enough for him just because we didn't carry his curse. Tatewaki harumphed and tossed his head, mane flipping across his neck. And his mother wasn't any better, was she, letting Lycaon treat him and his sisters like that. She should have stopped him! Mainly his mother's weakness filled him with pity. If he ever became a parent he'd sure as hell be a better one than her. It was one thing for Tatewaki to be treated as lesser, but watching it happen to his sisters filled him with rage. He may be the youngest but he was still determined to protect those two, whatever it takes. He'd started following the squires and knights around a while ago, and the more he watched the more certain he was that he wanted their training. Even if he didn't stay around here...he wanted to be able to fight, and not for sport but to carry out the battles that were inevitably going to be fought. When he grew up he knew he had to be able to take care of those close to him and that was that.

Name & Meaning:Pipaluk - The little one or Sweet Little Thing

Personality Blurb: Pipaluk is strong, brave, loyal. Sometimes she has a temper, but she does a very good job of hiding it. Despite the way her father treats her, she is loyal to a fault and deeply cares for his approval. Her determination to prove herself fills her every choice, thought, and make up.

Entry: Walking away from her mother and other siblings was hard for Pipaluk, but she wasn’t going to leave her brother or father. I may not be alcor on the outside but inside...Ill prove it to father. She thought as she followed her father and brother leaving her mother behind. It’s not easy for Pipaluk, her very name makes her inferior to her brother. Despite her father’s indifference to her, she believes in his cause and her mother not understanding or staying with him makes no sense to her. Her mother was weak and if she couldn’t understand that her father’s way is the only way, then its good she is gone.
Pipaluk's very thoughts revolves’ around trying to prove to her father that even though she isn’t an alcor like her brother, she is worthy of his love and approval. "Pipaluk go get this." or "Pipaluk your brother needs that." is the most her father ever says to her. Unless he is mad then it’s a 50 50 shot on whether he speaks to her at all and if he does speak it is to critics her and make her feel even more little then then name she was given. Sometimes after one of her father’s bad days she can see her brothers’ sympathetic looks. "I have told you to stay away when he is like that Pipaluk." Her brother will say sometimes after, but it’s much worst for her if she can’t be found. Plus, the criticism only makes me stronger and after all he wouldn’t critics if he didn’t think I had the potential to be better. She thinks as she walks away from yet another bad day her father is having.
Pipaluk very rarely thinks of her mother and other siblings. When she first left, her father was good to her or, so she had convinced herself. In the beginning she still had hope that her father, whom she loved very much, would someday come to love her too. It took a long time to brake her of that idea but now she only wants to prove him so very wrong. She still loves him like all girls love their father, but she no long seeks for that love back from him. After all love isn’t what he cares about. So, she works hard, trains harder, and makes sure to pay attention to every bit of grooming he gives to her brother. I’ll show him that his blood runs through my veins too.

Personality Blurb: Alyona is a strong and dedicated individual filled with a deep and almost obsessive drive to prove herself worthy to God. Initially, she comes off as sweet, kind, and fair-hearted with the deep love for her mother and family, exactly as a priestess should be. Towards most anyone, she is kind and caring with a friendly demeanor that anyone could love and feel comfortable with. They would admire her dedication to her sweet mother and the 2 siblings still with her. She would sacrifice the world for their happiness. However, deep down, she is also filled with anger and conflict about her own identity. Because of this anger, she has turned to the other priests if Llyn Dinas and their one god. Through this, she has come to understand the true meaning of her tainted blood and how to purify herself.

Entry:
When Alyona was young, she was taught a lesson of worth or lack of it. Blood determined your destiny and what you mean to the world. Her brother bore the same curse as her father and as a result, he was now worth something to the world. However, for the rest of her family, they were abandoned like scraps. For years she didn't know what that meant. It took her many moons to finally realize what her mixed, tainted, dirty blood was truly destined for. It was a test of God. Her body was a representation of how they have all become tainted by this world. To purify herself, she had to help the world rid itself of its wrongs. She had to rid their world of her father and the brother that has clearly betrayed his own mother.
She loved her mother as any good child should. Alyona lived to care for her gentle mother and try to be a shield to protect her from the sorrow of losing a child. Although her mother still felt a deep love and even understanding of what had happened, Alyona could not. Despite her mother's words, she hated her father and her brother. She hated the very blood that runs through her veins. It felt like a poison trying to kill her off slowly.
But she could still understand her mother's reasoning. After all, Chiyo was the purest being she knew to exist in the world. Her mother was blessed with the knowledge of how to speak and pray to Gods and she eagerly learned the path of the priestess. Although her time at Llyn Dinas has continued her that there is truly only one God, she still understands the holiness of her mother's work and understands how it could help her reach her one God. For years she prayed to her God to try to ease the rage within her. She tried to find out what she was meant to do.
One night the Gods answered her with a vivid nightmare of her killing her own father and brother. She woke up in sweat and tears, horrified by her own dark thoughts. She was nurtured with love and care by her mother and the other of Llyn Dinas. She should just strive to become a caring, productive, and kind herd member. But it was that poisoned blood that kept her mind so cruel. It was clear what she had to do. Her father and brother clearly had dark intentions for the wonderful world she came to know. They wanted to destroy it and the God that watched over it. Her destiny was to stop them however it may be possible. It did not want the blood to be spilled. Perhaps her brother could be reasoned with and converted. But she would not be weak if it did come down to that.
That nightmare was several years ago. She had strengthened both her body and her resolve. First, she must find like-minded individuals to help her with her task. She wasn't foolish enough to find out her father and brother's true intentions by herself. Surely there were others like her in the world that her God has reached out to as well. Now, she just needed to find them.

Which Foal: Oldest Daughter
Name & Meaning: Otsana(She-wolf)
Owner: Kesmi
Personality Blurb: The eldest of four, Otsana find herself the nurturing type in looking after her younger sister and brothers. While her father has chosen only to keep the one marked by his ancient blood. Otsana goes out of her way to make up for their father's lack of family loyalty with her own compassion. To the near future, she sees herself going against her father, in what means. She does not know, but she feels that it will not end too well.
Prompt: 3
Entry: She was at a cross roads, her parents were going different ways. Otsana had seen how her father treated her younger siblings. Two of them like lesser populous, she and two others weren't no more then commoners to their father as everyone else who lacked his wolf pelt. Before her mother chose to flee to her own herd, pleading to take all her children with her, even the one their father had chosen to dote most his time into.
"Why can't you dote on all of us?" Otsana had asked once before her mother fled. "Aren't we just as special as our brother? Sure, we have no pelts, but we're still holders of your blood."
She never remembered the answer she was given as she was tugged away by her mother before her father would do more harm then words. It did hurt that her father saw her and the others as little more then servants to him and her brother. It just wasn't fair! She was still part wolf, sure she couldn't change like her brother, but still! His blood ran through her veins just the same.
"Someday, someone will knock him down a few bars. When that happens, I can only hope I am there to watch." Ruefully, Otsana did retreat to her mother's herd. But not to learn to be a priestess, she couldn't find it in herself to be as pure as them. No, her mind worked to plan on how to knock her father on his own tail. While she hated to think of it, she just wanted him to see that even without the markings of the wolf, she was just as capable of fighting as him. "Someday father, you will learn that certain aspects aren't everything to be a great warrior."

Which Foal: The youngest boy
Name & Meaning: Phineus; one of Lycapn's mythical sons. The meaning is unknown but is thought to mean "vulture"
Owner: Geyser Eelborn
Personality Blurb: Hopeful, naive; Phineus tries to see the good in everyone and believes that people will get better if they're loved enough. He feels like he can change the world, and will try as hard as he can. Unfortunately, he's a very poor judge of character, and tends to put his faith in people who don't deserve it. He is also very impulsive, and makes decisions that he will later come to regret.

Entry: Phineus was foolish, he would eventually realize. He'd had the chance to get away, but he hadn't. Mother had taken the girls and run away, but Phineus...he'd had hope. He had thought, maybe his father would change. Maybe his father would learn to love him. And besides...if he was being honest with himself, he knew that he would feel lonely as the only boy in the family.
So yes, he had stayed with his father. His father...seemed to treat him better than he had treated his sisters, maybe? Maybe this was affection. Maybe this was the love he wanted. Maybe he gave Phineus orders because...because he trusted Phineus to do the job properly. But Father was always off with Kaukon, teaching him things. He spoke in grand terms to Phineus's brother, while with Phineus...he gave Phineus orders, and Phineus obeyed them.
It was the pelt...it had to be. They would go off, turn into wolves, and Phineus would be forbidden from following them. He was not a wolf.
Was that why he wasn't a prince, either?
Phineus closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep, wings tucked against his body. Someday his father would love him, he was sure. Someday he would take his equal place next to his brother--well, not really equal, since Kaukon was older than him, but--someday they would be the same. They would stand together. Phineus would like that very much, to spend more time with his brother. To have family. To have someone who cared about him and spent time with him. Who played with him like his sisters used to. To love him like his mother used to.
Phineus prayed to Zeus. If Zeus had made Lycaon a wolf, then he could make Phineus a wolf as well. It was only a matter of time. And then his father would see--see that Phineus was a son of Lycaon, too.
