Episode 45
Hasky tries to take the dragon balls by force, but fails when Goku beats her. Bulma and Goku have set off to find the 3rd dragon ball.

Episode 46
Bulma and Goku locate the 3rd ball, the thing is, they need a submarine to get it. Unfortunately, Bulma finds out the hard way that there are no submarines nearby except for at Master Roshi's at the hint of Goku's suggestion. General Blue is the new Bad Boss that Goku will have to eventually defeat.

Episode 47
At Roshi's Island, Roshi wants Bulma's microband, which is a device to shrink or enlarge a person's height, in exchange for the submarine. By having this device, Roshi attempts at some perverted tatics. He tries to spy on Bulma in the bathroom, but was too late and gets flushed down the toilet. Then Launch and Krillin return with the submarine and then Krillin, Bulma, and Goku all take off to get the dragon ball and some pirate's treasure.

The red ribbon army gives chase to both Goku and Master Roshi, but haven't caught them yet.

Episode 49
When the red ribbon army tried to attack Roshi, the army was defeated. When the army tailed Goku, they overheard about the treasure and are thinking even bigger plans than just the dragon balls.

Episode 50
After surviving a pair of floor traps, Goku, Bulma, and Krillin discover a port where a Pirate robot was guarding the fort. General Blue is the only survivor of his section of the red ribbon army.

Episode 51
Goku ends up beating the pirate robot, but now the place is collapsing and the gang must get out and get the dragon ball before it does.

Goku fights and beats an octopus then arrives just in time to save Krillin and Bulma from General Blue.
