Tragedy struck before that could happen though, when some thieves broke into the family shop one day for their gold. There was a struggle, and both of Ralian's parents were murdered. He watched this happen from the safety of the closet, and managed to avoid detection. That day, his magic took on a new, more powerful and unstable form. Forever changed from the promising energetic man he once was, now this young prodigy wanders the land, forever searching for the faces of those who killed his parents.
