Now this fight was becoming more interesting. She had to think of a plan quickly and her feet because she didn't know what he was up to. When he turned clockwise to strike her leg, she would block it with her right sword allowing it to be encaptured in the ice. That is when she realized what she was dealing with. He was using ice dust. This was no longer a fair fight. Letting go of her trapped sword, she would leg swipe him with her left leg. If she was successful, he would be face first in the ground and she would deal her final blow. She was now battling with one half of her weapon. There was no flaming aura arrows at her disposal even if she wanted to now. It was finish this fight with semblance and one sword or be defeated.

. Impressive. He wasn't able to capture her leg but he was able to encase her weapon. That seemed like a good win for him. However, do to the spin he was now facing away from her. His dash foward was met with a leg sweep, causing him to stumble. Fortunately, he didn't fall down. Using his blade like a walking stick, the blade would dig into the ground to help him keep his balance which left a huge opportunity for an opening. He should of been more aggressive on the assualt, but she was proving to be more formidable than he once believed. Whether it was the final blow or not would all depend on how she would strike. Either way, the opening was hers!
OOC: COMMON misconception. 2 swords doesn't automatically beat 1 blade. Count Dooku like have a word with you. Doing good so far though

She wasn't going to make the same mistake Cinder did by not using a second blast to finish off Winter. He may have encased one half of her weapon, but she still had the other half. It was now over never while she had him on knees to finish the job. "Forgive, but don't forget." She spoke as she threw another fireball before coming down with a blade to his back. Hopefully this was the end of it. She could go back to Kai's house and get hopefully a ace band to wrap her wound until she got to town and he aura helped her heal. "This has been one bullshit a** day." She grumbled hoping that this was all over. If he was down for the count, she would go melt the ice that had her second blade encased and make her way back to Kai's home.

. With the final blow from her semblance combined with the blade, it was a low possibility he survived all of the situations. A semblance and a blade to the back. Falling limp to the ground, he would fall silent. Kai was at his house reading and ignorant of the whole ordeal. Probably was for the best anyways.. As Jackie would leave, a few beowulf would come and ignore her, but attack the limp body on the ground, tearing it to pieces and having them a good morning snack.

They had most have been some smart or high intelligent grim not to attack her. They must had figured out if they attacked her injured or not, she was ending their lives. It seemed she had survived and her aura started to heal her slowly. Putting her swords on her back, she would make her way back to the porch and knock on the door. He was the only one that could help her. It stung that he was so mean to her. She'd dealt with enough people hurting her. She dealt enough with her kingdom falling and being one of the few to survive. How much more did the ******** gods want to slap her in the face? Why did she have to keep going through hardship after hardship? She was sick of being broken and mentally ill. She wasn't some ******** helpless puppy, but a warrior that deserved better than what life was dishing out to her. The one thing she refused to do right now was break down on his porch. Her emotions were masked with a poker face. Her inter turmoil would be just that. If he came to the door, her only words would be. "I was attacked."

❝Be Prepared, or expect Death's hand to grab you ❞
"Come inside and lay on the couch" He stated simply before looking out the boundary and seeing a dead body. Seems she wasn't making this up just like the extra plates. He still didn't understand but he shrugged it off. Once he let her in, he would put a hand on her back before letting his semblance activate. This was different from just lending someone their aura. This was way faster. This was way stronger. It was adding more blood, more skin, more muscle. It was as if everything was being multiplied and patching her up at lightning speed. As he healed her, he obviously had questions. "Since there's a dead body on my lawn, it's obvious you aren't a scrub" He compliments. Wait, he complimented her? Weird turn around. "Glad see there isn't wasted potential in you. I hate when talent is totally ruined. Seen enough of it at the academy."he starts before sighing, "So Lets start at the beginning. What is your story?"

Jackie didn't argue with him. Going into the house, she laid down on the couch. Laying there, she would close her eyes. She didn't want to look at him or have to explain anything. Even though she wasn't speaking, didn't mean she wasn't listening. Did he just compliment her? Nah. He was just being the same pompous a**. Deep down, she knew what he was saying was true. She wasn't a complete waste of space and time. She may wasn't a top graduate of Atlas, but she wasn't weak either. Every fighter had their flaws. Her team whoever was a top team in Atlas. Together they feed of each other, they protected each other, they laughed, cried, and was there when the other needed them. She just couldn't believe her teammates were gone, the love of her life gone. her family gone, and most importantly, her baby girls were gone and she needed to accept it.
Deciding that since she could feel herself covering at a rapid rate, she knew she wasn't healing herself that fast. He had asked and why not give him story time. It's not like he could really use it against her more than it was already affecting her. "I entered Atlas Academy a year early. I was told that I was ready and staying another year at combat school would just hinder my growth. During the entrance exam, I passed with flying colors and my partner was amazing. Team HEAT was our name. My partners in crime was Ethan, Alice, and Tyler. Ethan though was the love of my life. It took time because we bickered and fought with one another, but on the battle field. We made up for each other weaknesses. Once we had all graduated Atlas, I found out I was pregnant. Ethan was head over heels, but not my parents. I was supposed to marry a noble. I only got to carry them for 5 months." Her voice cracked and tears started to roll down her face. "I had a miscarriage right before the grim invasion happened. I couldn't fight. I couldn't help my teammates. I was instead hiding and cowering until it was all over. I fought my way to Vale. To cope, I see my twin girls. They have grown up over the years. I know it is just a side affect of not dealing with losing them, but I have nobody to talk to or help me." Then she just went silent. Now he knew everything.

He kept his hand on the back, making sure she was healed completely. Listening to her story, it didn't make him sad or anything. This was just life. This was just what they had to deal with. He wasn't thinking any of them was worse off. It was just circumstances each had to go through. He couldn't really identify with much. He identifies with Academy stuff to an extent but he was training for that ever since he was a toddler. He has never been assigned to a team, he was mostly to himself. He was a replacement for most cases. Though he didn't really study long in Atlas due to the invasion. Team Heat did sound familiar the more he thought about it. Maybe his parents talked about them during dinner or two. He couldn't connect at all to the whole romance aspect. Kai found it more like a myth. He never really connected on that level with anyone at all. He wasn't moved. Even with the tears. That didn't mean he didn't feel any sympathy for her. He just felt that there was no time for that these days. "So, that explains the extra plates" He would comment putting the pieces together and his detective work coming together.
This woman is obviously crazy and experiencing hallucinations thanks to the dramatic experiences of Atlas. However, she's not completely useless like others would be in a situation. While crazy, she isn't sitting there a waste of space having the skills rot. Intriguing to say the least. Plus, these illusions could pull out more potential in the end. Extra motivation. His thoughts would come to an end before he let go. She should be completely healed. Feeling his aura drained, but not completely gone, he would get up. "The pancakes were good" He would state before thinking of exactly what to call her. Kitsune he would think, giving her a Yokai nickname. This was one of the highest compliments you can get. Well, beyond having your real name used but outside professional manner, he never really gave anyone that courtesy. Any time he used someone's real name clearly, he most likely was insulting them.

Once she felt whole again, she sat up and cleaned her face. She wasn't expecting sympathy from him in any form. He probably didn't even understand any of this as it seemed he liked being alone. It did't matter though because she was stronger for her misfortunes than most. She was still standing while others would have probably offed themselves or closed themselves off to the world. However, she still worked. There was still a longing for human interaction. Love was something she wanted to feel again. A family of her own. She wanted to see her children go to Atlas or Beacon or any of the hunter schools. Once he made the statement about the plates, she nodded. "I know it was a waste of food, but in that moment, they were there. Then you asked about the extra plates and I did a double take realizing what I had done. I didn't want you to think I was crazy. That is why I made up the lie. It doesn't matter because you probably think I am crazy anyway." Taking her swords off her back, she would just sigh. Then a smile graced her lips as she looked at him. "I will never be able to thank you enough. I really do owe you for healing me." Was she falling for him, not at all. She was just grateful for his good deed towards her. They would probably be friends or something like that, but he wasn't for her. He couldn't heal what was really broken. Then he finally commented on her pancakes. "Ethan did say I make the best pancakes. My whole team would eats stacks and then have to go run it off. It was great." She said smiling at the memory. "Well I am sure you want me to leave now. Thank you a lot." Grabbing her swords, she would say thank you one more time before heading for the door.
