What do you have there in that diary of yours, Herbalist?
The Herbalist, is a knowledge seeker of the world in Kells and you can guess what knowledge he might pursue.
More details will be provided about The Herbalist as time passes, but for now he will remain a slight mystery. This thread will be used to add to his already growing diary. Within that diary is a list of plants and their uses.
---
Plainly this is a place for individuals to post ideas for what type of plant life they would like to see in the Kells world (or what may already exist). Not only do we want to know the plant name, but we want a little bit of an idea on how that plant would interact with the world around it.
Note that this thread will be temporary and that not all plants will be selected. There is a possibility of tokens to those who do get selected. The choices will be made with the help of other staff.
Any questions, or concerns, can be directed to the mod mail on Discord. If you don't use discord or have not joined the Kells discord then please feel free to DM myself, or PM me here.

 Threat Levels
Small [Sm] - Little to no risk. Medium [Med] - In small doses safe, large doses can prove fatal. Large [Lrg] - Risky in any dose.
Types of Threat
Note: These are just suggested threat levels to go with the types of threat. That does not mean they will always be in that range - they are not firm.
[Sm-Med] Inhalation - Inhaling pollen, or any other parts of the plants. Filtered through the lungs and so this is a small to medium risk depending on the type of and amount of plant by product.
[Sm-Med] Skin Contact - The pelt, and skin of most every creature existing in Kells protects them from possible endangerment from exposure to plant life that may be otherwise considered dangerous. Most often cases of direct contact are considered a small threat and will likely have no long lasting effects.
[Med-Lrg] Consumption - Consumption is the eating of a plant. Consuming a plant means the plant travels through the body and is filtered, therefore is a small, medium, or large risk (consuming product means it could impact more parts of the body.)
[Lrg] Direct Injection - Direct injection is as it sounds, a direct injection of the plant. This means that should the creature have an open wound and comes into contact or has a rub of any kind applied the plant goes right into the bloodstream. Small, medium, or large depending on the plant and its use.

Use the form below to submit your idea for a possible plant within the realm of Kells. This is a free for all on creativity. The plants can exist already (there are plenty of options for research), but you do have freedom to create a plant of your own. As a bonus these plants may eventually have visual representation, but until then we must be as descriptive (within reason) as possible to aid with roleplaying in the world.
Enjoy the experience!

Example provided by a staff member:
Plant Name: Lily of Sorrow Common Name: Tears of the Vale; Slumberdrops Threat Level: Small [Consumption] Use(s): Cure for insomnia, in larger doses the user is known to have strange or wild dreams. Description: Otherwise known as Tears of the Vale or Slumberdrops. Visually similar to lilies of the valley, Lilies of Sorrow possess long, bladed leaves that curl gently into almost corkscrew spirals, or simply remain wavy along the edges depending on the atmosphere they grow in. Their flowers are delicate and grow in clusters of three to twelve, and each cluster contains more than enough of the plant's natural sedative to place a creature into a sleep from which it might never wake. The buds are bell-shaped, fading from a powder blue at the base to a near-white near the edges of the petals. In strongly limited amounts, Slumberdrops can be used to do away with insomnia, serving as a potent remedy. However, strange dreams have been reported with too much use.
