Cody lovingly hugged his daughter back, he never wanted her to be out of his life and wanted her to be truly happy. Which of course over the next year, its been a ride and a half for the new father trying to learn how to be a proper dad. One week Caprice had a high fever which he over reacted to, worrying more then he should but she was fine. She had been learning more and more at school, catching up to her class mates and making plenty of friends despite not fully being human. He smiled as he woke up early as usual and began to make Caprice's favorite breakfast since it was almost a year since he adopted Caprice that since her real birthday was never given or in her paperwork, he forged a date and stuck with it which was coming closer, be had been inviting her friends for a surprise party. When he went to wake her, he gently shook her, "Caprice dear, time to wake up." He said kindly to her.

Cody hugged his daughter back, "Good morning my little Caprice, ready to start the day?" He asked as he always tried getting his little wolfe excited for the weekend since he always tried his best to give as much time as he could to play with her and spend time when he was always working alot during the week. He had recently been playing a nice big birthday party for her to have in the park with her friends. He would have gotten inflatable houses for the kids to jump in but her claws would make short work of them. So he was thinking over what to do for her and them to have fun.

Cody drove her to school after helping her get ready and she didnt seem as excited or cheerful as she normally was to go play and learn. He hoped she wasnt being bullied or anything but when he was at work and was called about Caprice, he grew worried and took some time to go to the school. When he got there, the principal explained in person what she had been told and Cody walked over and sat next to Caprice, "Hey Sweetheart, are you okay?" He asked softly, he gently smiled, "You know you could have told me this morning about this." He reassured her kindly to show he was her dad and would do anything for her, even listen.

Cody could tell that Caprice was scared and even felt as if she was just fearful of her past which he knew of it. He drove her home and carried her inside, "Tomorrow is a new day sweetheart, it will be so much better because since its saturday, we are going to the park to have fun alright." He said kindly to her as he pet her head gently as he would go make her a snack, putting her favorite kids movie on for her to enjoy and get her mind off the fear she felt.

The next morning, he would make her breakfast but would ask that she get ready, asking her to get dressed, he had to run to the store really quick. He did take the car and was back in at least 20 minutes but when he got back he hadnt brought back things from the store. He then made sure she was ready and they walked to the nearby park but as they got close, he picked her up and carried her, "Caprice, would you please close your eyes, no peeking." He said softly and waited for her to close them. He walked her a bit til he smiled, "Alright, you can open them now." He said which when she opened them, she would find that a lot of her friends from school and their parents were there, they all yelled happy birthday as Cody smiled, "Happy birthday Caprice." He said happily to her. The park bench area was decorated with ribbins and table clothes and even had some balloons. He smiled, "What do you think?" He asked gently setting her down so she could go play with her friends. On one of the tables were a few gifts as well.
