Heh so am I" "The Wandering of an Ancient" ✠----------------------------✠ The swamp was damp and cold, Luckily for the armored being traversing through the land it didn't bother him since he was cursed with the gift of undeath. Bas moved through the swamp relatively easily as he stayed to the land parts of swamp trying not to go into the water at all unless absolutely necessary. Passing by a thicket of trees he was greeted with large Bear statues and what looked like Torii Gates. "How strange to find these so deep into the swamp". He had speculations as to when they where built but for now he though it would be best to consort his map again.
A armored glove wrapped around the map and pulled it from its home at his belt. The old map was unraveled as he began to look over the ink and faded words and drawings. Luckily for him the swamp was on the map. "Now all I have to do is find a city that remained on the map" he said to himself as he looked over the map before him. The soft blow of the breeze disturbed the leaves and grass around him. Nearby the gentle splash of a waterfall could be heard so thankfully not everything was silent.

 much to Bas's interest the structures had been there for a long time, if he had known what the Toril gates represented, he would have believed they represented a passage way or they were a passage to another gate. This which was only deemed rumors in the world would be considered myth in most times, but unfortunately that was not the case. as he was walking he would soon Sense what amounted to Fear as it would hit him like wind, whether or not he felt fear inside was irrevelent, he could feel that something was leaking out something to could induce it and unaffected or not he would sense it. it came from one of the gates, despite it looked like nothing was there. the effect disappeared, but soon came again from the same place, but the second time if he looked he would notice the gate was cracking, as it cracked the wave increased but the cracks would stop after a few second, the area between the sides of the gate would now crack as if the thin air was being destroyed. a black substance would ooze out falling onto the ground, it seemed to spread but would stop spreading the moment the ooze stopped falling out of the crack, at which the crack began to reseal itself. the ooze was clearly where that sensation was coming from, but it would soon start to form a figure which looked like an extremely tall figure covered in a cloak. it looked like it was pitch black but where the head was a flame appeared, and to Bas as he was undead knew what it was, it was a group of Souls in a form of a flame. it just seemed to float in place as it fully formed. it didn't seem to bother looking around before it would reach into the flame pulling out one of the souls, and dropping it onto the ground which part of its hand oozed the black substance before onto it, having it completely envelop it. he would witness the ooze explode within itself causing the ooze to stretch and jump until it would start to form another creature. it had long limbs and human like teeth that were exposed as if it was an exoskeleton mouth. the first creature would burst into flames causing it to seemeingly burn down and disappear but even Bas could tell, it didn't burn...it left. the other creature remained before it would tilt its head like a bird would looking around before it spotted the armored man, this caused the creature to turn around and face him tilting its head at different angles to look at him. it then opened its mouth and Screamed a blood curdling sound before it would jump backwards to have its legs land on the gate's leg before pushing off of it, destroying the leg entirely of the gate as it flew at him at a quick rate, it seemed to not wait and aiming to tackle him hard.

"Lost In endless wandering? Heh so am I" "A Beautiful song for an Ancient" ✠----------------------------✠ Crack, Crack CRACK The sounds from the Torii gate pulled the dullahan's attention to it. "What the..." Now Bas is not one to disrespect the gods whether real or not but the creature before him seemed to pull at the very fabric of his soul. Fear. The same he felt on the day his head was put to the chopping block. Yet here he could fight. The dullahan quickly stored the map he held while the creature with the cloak summoned forth some kind of monstrosity. Not soon after its hideous birth did its creator leave in a flame that ruined its body. "It seems your master didn't wish to stay around to witness your death monster." The creature itself turned to look at him. A blood curling scream erupted forth from the beast as it began its acrobatic fling towards him. "I AM DATHI BAS, A KNIGHT OF UMBRIONIA AN YOU WILL MEET YOUR DEATH" The dullahan roared as his scythe Came to his hands and he moved to meet the creature in combat.His armor responded with clanking and movement. This being its first taste of combat since awakening. The flash of steel from his scythe was what the creature would see just as it entered his weapons range.

Bas would prepare his attack, and would find keeping up with the creatures speed was a tough feat but he managed to slash at it, despite its leap to strike first it didn't seem to try and clash with him rather it would find itself cut in half, making it seem like the creature wasn't as strong as it appeared, it lied in two halves behind him thanks to the acceleration it had to go past him. for a few seconds it got quiet, but the body halves began to twitch, only for its eyes to move around, they had no pupils, now that he was close up to it, it was hideous, no pupils in its eyes and it smelled like him...dead, but as it twitched its body began to send the black ooze at each half forcing it back together, which it would stand up again turning around to look at him, showing that it was bigger than him. it would let out another blood curdling scream before it raised its arm up and swung it at him HARD and fast, making it require fast reflexes or instinct to avoid or block it. If he managed to block it or dodge it, the creature would then attack intantly with its other arm in a simular manner. If it had hit him he would be forced into the direction he was hit, but the creature would be near him again to try and do it again using the other arm this time. Based on whatever secondary attack it did, it was clear it was attacking based on instinct rather than logic, due to it ability to solely act and react as quick as it did

His Scythe cleaved through the breast separating it into two and letting them fly past him to splat on the ground behind him. Turning to face the abomination Bas was hit with the stench of death from the creature. Yet it wasn't the normal dead smell he knew from the battle ground. It smelled more volatile, rotten even. Movement caught his eye and immediately he weapon came up again. "Does No mortal wound stop you creature" The Knight said as he watched it pull itself together and let out another blood curtailing scream. "Damn Abomination won't die" Bas blinked and one would say it almost cost him his life as the creature attacked again. Its claws met his scyth as the dullahan manged to block the beat. It's second attack he didn't manage to block but it glanced off his armor harmlessly thankfully. "By the Binds of life and death I Look upon you beast." The Dullahan said and a Blue light could be seen in his eyes as the very life force of the being was revealed to him. It seemed to stitch this creature together. A creature given unnatural life.

after hitting him the creature noticed it didn't do much to the armored figure, so it looked at its hands tilting its head slightly looking at it, it was seemingly confused why it didn't do as much as it thought, but as it would look at its hand the hand as well as the one it wasn't looking at would begin to bubble seemingly reforming itself now having them seem to be sharper, which could be tell by the lengths of the fingers as well as the points. once they changed it would look back at the armored man. it would seemingly get into a crouched position much like a cat would before it used its hind legs to lunge forward to get the distanced closed again, this time slashing its claws down at him in an X form, regardless if he blocked, dodged or took the hit it would scream once again.

Heh so am I" "A Beautiful song for an Ancient" ✠----------------------------✠ Bas was glad stamina and endurance was no longer an issue for him or else just fending off this things speed and claws would leave him winded. Bas took a step back allowing his stance to change to one of agility and technique. He watched as the creature seemed to change its claws to hold a more solid point. 'Armor piercing?' was all he could think before the creature came at him again giving its screaming warcry. The Dullahan allowed its claws to come within inches of his plate before his side stepped the thing bringing his weapon around to cut the creatures arms off. Should it fail to get out of the way the dullahan would carry its weapons moment back around and attempt to slash it from shoulder to hip. Yet should he fail the dullahan would take a more defensive stance and bring his defense back up and act like a bulwark upon which the furry of blows from this creature would land almost harmlessly

ITs attack came quick but was dodged by the armored one, which due to its focus it didn't seem to bother reacting to his counter which allowed its arm to get cut off, but without hesitation it would try and attack with its other arm, only to be cut in half again but diagonally this time, which granted the slight change in its motion for it to miss the strike missing the dullahan barely. it fell apart by the pieces to the ground which again despite his damage it would seemingly regenerate again until it formed again. it would roll onto its stomach and proceed to stay on four limbs as it Screamed again but this time the armored man would notice the white lines on its body would begin to look like it was flowing as it glowed in one spot on each line and the glow would move along the line. the glow got faster and faster until each line would stay glowing. the armored begin would feel the creature emitting magic from it which once the lines all glowed small white orbs would fly out of the lines which seemed to float in the air, but it didn't stay still as they then flew at the armored man seemingly stopping before hitting him but instead surrounded him. the creature let out another scream before the orbs would then strike all flying at him at different angles. whatever they hit be it the ground or him they would hit hard as strong as the creatures strikes, yet after they hit something they would give a small explosion which would inflict a portion of Fire element into the attack. regardless if it had much effect it made it clear the creature had access to magic...and knew how to use it...despite just being created.
