Yeah, it does!
That one president was trying to say "I am a person from Berlin" or something, but the words that mean "person from Berlin" and "jelly donut" sound alike, so it came out as "I am a jelly donut."
And then the people from Berlin were all "Did he just say he is a jelly donut?!"..."Yeah, must be slang or something..."..."Who cares, he's American!" At least, that's what I heard.

Wasn't it President Wilson who said that? He was about to participate in writing up the Treaty of Versailles in accordance to his Fourteen Points, or something like that.
