xX PERSONALITY xxxxxxCOMPASSIONATE – Amber is easily the kindest and sweetest girl around. Gentle as can be, she wouldn’t hurt a fly. In fact, she’s rather incapable of doing so as she hates seeing harm done to any one person or animal. Constantly looking out for others, she’s sympathetic of others and willing to help if at all possible. Considerate and overly thoughtful, Amber would be there in a flash trying to help make things better. Thinking about others just comes easy to her. She’s just a caring young teen with the need to help others when it matters most.
CHEERFUL – Amber is a cheerful girl despite everything that has gone on. She seems to always be in good spirits and is overly optimistic. Though at times her optimism can be extremely unrealistic. It’s uncommon for her to seem less then happy, though there are times when she can appear worried or completely unsure and deflated. With her overly bubbly attitude, she is quite energetic and outgoing with others she’s built a relationship with. She is the furthest thing from quiet when she knows she can talk with someone, even if that person doesn’t want to hear it.
NAIVE – Right off the bat Amber appears to be rather oblivious to the state of things. She has a reality in her head that is far from the truth. In fact, she has a child like innocence to her thoughts and actions more often then not. This in turn makes her quite gullible. Believing in the good in others when at times it might not actually be there, is she sadly rather trusting. Amber lacks knowledge on how to survive in a world full of lies and uncertainties. Though she more often then not remains blissfully unaware that her views are lacking and sort of depth.
FORGIVING – If Amber happens to figure out (or is told) that some has lied to her, she is usually quick to forgive. She doesn’t hold grudges on people and is more then willing to give another person a second chance (and on rare occasions a third) so long as her sister isn’t around to veto her decision. Amber doesn’t let the fact that someone messed up or took advantage of her kindest get her down. Even when her own sister bites her head off, she’ll always forgive her and move passed whatever argument her sister was having. She knows there are far more important things that she needs to worry about.
CURIOUS – Amber is also rather inquisitive, asking twenty questions or more when she had something on the brain. She wants to know more and when she wants to know she’s going to ask. Learning new things, she has a curiosity to know more then she did the day before. If someone knows something she doesn’t, Amber will be sure to ask all about it.
SENSITIVE – The most prominent things surrounding Amber is just how sensitive she is. When things go wrong, she cracks under the pressure. Sylvia is the only one who can usually snap her out of her own mind and get her passed it. This just shows how much Sylvia influences her as when her sister isn’t around, she panics. Fearing that the worst will happen and that her sister won’t return. Positivity goes out the window when she’s isolated and alone. On the plus side, Amber can be very delicate when dealing with other people when something is troubling them. Not to mention she can tell when things are just plan off in a room.

xX BACKSTORY - PRE-OUTBREAK xxxxxxspaceAmber was born three years after her older sister Sylvia to John and Jollen Morin in November. Her parents a writer and a florist had married shortly after finding out about their first daughter. Amber was always cared for and always deeply loved. Her big sis Sylvie was always there for her no matter what was going on. Amber spend most of her time with their mom helping to care for the flowers. They were always her favourite part of being at the shop. It was hard when she found out she had to go off to school but knew she’d be just like her big sister.
spaceThroughout school Amber found herself bullied from time to time. At times she was overly naïve to the fact that that’s what was really going on. Her oblivious nature being the main reason she was picked on. Luckily, she always had Sylvia to come to the rescue. All her troubles would more or less go away thanks to her sister. Plus, Syl always tried to cheer her up afterwards. It was always the two of them even when their parents died in a car accident. Amber had just turned eleven when it happened, and she had no idea how to deal with any of it. She found herself looking to the only person she had left, her sister.
spaceMoving from Dallas to Rockwell to live with their grandparents, Amber turned to latching onto Sylvia. The young girl found herself being the victim of her sister’s anger issues since their parents’ passing. Though she found Sylvia still cared enough to stand up for her at her new school. The only other time she wasn’t being snapped at was when she’d sneak into her sister’s bedroom to sleep at night. This caused her grandparents to become concerned. Between Amber’s insecurity and Sylvia’s anger issues, it wasn’t long before both girls found themselves in therapy. The idea of therapy went decently well for Amber but not so much for Sylvia. Almost done with middle school, Amber was happy she’d head off to high school. The same high school that Sylvia went to. Though she was saddened that her sister would be graduating before she got there. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t matter as the outbreak hit before she got the chance to go to Rockwell High.
spaceWhen the chaos hit, Amber had been with her sister and grandparents. Planning on meeting up with a few friends out of area, they packed up what they could and left the area they had called home. Along the way they were caught up horror of mass panic. Amber found herself covering her ears to drown out the screams before her sister grabbed her and dragged her onward. Managing to find a small building to stop in it became known to Amber that her grandfather had been injured. Their grandmother told Amber and her sister to go on without them and that they’d meet up later. Following Sylvia and saying goodbye to her grandparents Amber was certain she’d see them again soon.
