General Overview
4 Stats Overall: Strength, Stamina, Speed, Wisdom
Adults have a Max of 25 pts per stat.
Maxed out Stats are Required for Elder Growth
Elders Max out at 30 pts per stat.
Adults Only have Stats. Adults start off with 1pt in each category and 3pts for the user to use how they wish.
Every 5 (Rounding down) stats gives +1 to the dice roll. Example: the CYOA asks you to roll a strength check and your pet's strength is 7, you would add 1 to your dice roll in the instance.
Earning Stats
Roleplaying/Battles: (Retroactively can be claimed)
Rp between 2 or more ppl: 500 Words per pet = 4 stat pts,
Solo Rps: 750 Words per pet =4 stat pts
A single rp can be claimed up to 3 times for stats.
PvP Battles: Winner can claim 2 pts for the winning pet, Loser can claim 1pt for the winning pet, in the instance of a tie each pet gets 1pt.
In-thread Games: (Can only be claimed from this point forward)
All participate in free games will give out stats win or no win in the game.
Dice, Flaffles, Higher/Lower etc. earn 1pt for 1 pet
Rp Contests, Personality Contests earn 2pts for 1 pet
Staff can add bonuses to games as we chose. Example: A dice game runs longer than intended staff can add in 1 pt of stamina to those who participated throughout the game start to finish. Or if we have a hard time choosing between two entries in a contest we can award the runner up an extra wisdom pt.

User-held Contests: (Can only be claimed from this point forward)
Owners giving out extra offspring to those in the shop is something I would like to award.
Giving out offspring in a game that doesn’t use little thought to the player or the hoster will give 1 stat point per parent of the children given out. RP/personality contests will give 2 stat pts per parents of the children given out.
CYOAs: (Awards Retroactively earned)
Every so often Staff will set up a CYOA type game these games will use stats to help the user explore the situation. These will be mini rp prompts that have the feeling of mini dnd quests or instances. This type of game will introduce new species to the shop and/or give people a chance to win mutants outside of large events. All of the pets from these games will be considered cosplays of creatures you would battle from genres all over. Example: Pokemon, digimon, dnd, Monster Hunter, yugioh etc.
Word counts in these games claimed for points.
Stat Points will be given out accordingly, depending on the rp responses, what you have to do and how you approve the given problems with your pets.
Pod Specific Events:
Once pods become more of a thing, each pod will have a few specific CYOAs events that will only be available for members of that pod.
Other events can happen, such as battle tournaments between pods, and/or a friendly set of games between two/or more pods.
When creating these events the pod’s dynamic will be considered, making the event something that the pod may be interested in.
Pod owners may also set up games and such within their pod using the stat system and these games can give out stats, the pod owner just needs to talk to the staff about it.

Why Teens have No Stats
Contemplating this for a while we decided that teens having stats would have no benefit. Teens cannot participate in CYOAs and battles which are the main uses for stats in the shop. Teens don’t stay teens for long, and journal images would also have to be changed once the teen grows, which will require more work on staff. Teens can be rped and teen rp for a pet can be claimed for stats once that teen has grown to an adult.
