[ R2 ] Scrap Arena: Haru vs. Choukyu

[Ergo War]

A circular arena fenced in by metal netting roughly 3 meters high. The ground is covered in a metal grate, from which emanate the sounds of countless strikes and blows landing and being deflected, loud enough that it is difficult to even hear one's own footsteps. Around the arena are huge chunks of metal and concrete that look to have been taken from a junkyard. Their shapes and sizes are irregular, but none are taller than a person and all seem to be just about ready to fall apart. The perimeter of the arena is the only area where the scrap isn't present, as it is where the overseers are expected to patrol.

Emerald sparks zigzagged across the netting overhead. An iron wall slammed down across the exit, blocking the passageway completely. The reverberation of the wall subsided quickly, then started to come back, this time from something below the ground. The sound would grow louder and louder until it was painful to hear, at which point the ground would start to slide apart. For now, all that was visible below was darkness.
