Cartwright had successfully targeted Kenneth's facial features, specifically the nasal area. It appears that having difficulty breathing has thrown Kenneth off for the remainder of the match, as The Lad continues to punish him with punches to the face, stomps and elbow drops to the body. Nothing fancy here, a very methodical and aggressive approach, one that the fans aren't used to seeing from Cartwright.
Cartwright eventually sees the state that Kenneth is in with his breathing and kindly decides to finish the match....with an exciting new move that drives his fist upwards into his opponents already fragile nose...The Brexit Uppercut! Kenneth drops to the mat and lies flat on his back as Cartwright hooks his leg for the three count.
Michael Buffer: "Here is your winner......CAAAARTWRIIIIGHT!"
The referee raises Cartwright's arm up in victory as the crowd continues to boo him.
Tony Schiavone: "An impressive display from Cartwright here tonight."
Larry Zbysko: "This is the Cartwright that is going to dethrone Andre Damone at Starrcade! I can feel it! This lad is so focused on the World Heavyweight Championship right now, nobody can stop him!"
