BIOGRAPHY:
◆ His mother was a Harlot that worked her way into being the sole property of a minor lord. When she became pregnant before the lord's wife at a time when said lord was trying to rise up in status, both his mother and his unborn self were set up in a small townhouse and his sire fashioned him a nest egg.
◆ His mother turned the townhouse into a boarding house. Malcolm was born and raised in a brothel. By the time he was sixteen his mother died of syphilis. At which point he used his inheritance to make his way to the Colonies.
◆ He signed up as a sailor shortly after getting to the Virginian colony. He worked for a decade as a sailor for his Majesty's navy. He learned a good deal about a great many things while on board that ship; including, but not limited to, how to brew his own alcohol.
◆ After retiring (serving out his contract) with the Navy, Malcolm returned to the Colonies. At age twenty-seven, with all of the skills he'd learned on deck, he was able to become a junior assistant to a local brewery. There he learned how to make a great many different types of alcohols. Wine, Mead, Whiskey, and Beer were the alcohols he learned to brew on top of the Grog and Staut he'd learned how to make while serving in the Navy.
◆ By the time he was thirty-four, Malcolm had proven that he was a quick study of alcohols and decided he needed a new challenge. He traveled around for a year until he found himself with a group that had been granted a charter by the English Government to form a new township. As such he was among the founders for Anne's Town. He instantly got to work on something that he knew how to do, was a public service, and was profitable. And though he was tempted to open up a Brothel there hadn't been enough settler's to make that a viable option. So he went with the cleaner option - a Tavern with a micro bruary to distill some local product.
