Rán was aching to redeem herself. She had quite a humiliating loss with the Sentinel, Faelyg, but the white lioness was quite kind about it, offering to aid her in training in the future. She knew she would take up the offer, but the defeat still smarted.
She wanted to fight, but she couldn't face Faelyg again, not so soon. She had to train on her own, and become better before she did that. Losing was part of the experience, though. She knew she couldn't win them all, but she just felt frustrated at the moment.
So a fight she would seek. Perhaps the emotions would help ignite enough force in her to win her next duel. |

Washa was evidence of what fiery roots, as deep as the desert was wide, could look like. His long, powerful stride was built over time, upon a long standing (and sometimes questionable) ancestral foundation. For most of his comrades, this type of engagement was a distant interest, paling in comparison to the art of debate. However Washa was made for dueling. And even if he rarely won, his passion for the sport had given him the reputation of one who was always up for a challenge.
A heavy-lidded gaze scanned the territory with waning intrigue, his hulking red form passing slowly beneath the heat of their desert sun. Making his rounds, perhaps? Or just looking for a fight himself... He would pass over the dark lioness, then reel back his attention to get a better look. He didn't know that face.
Time to get familiar.
A new path was forged in the sands as Washa closed the distance between them. Oh. Her eyes. That was different.
"Something trouble you?" His expression was calm, genuinely curious.
As wardens were known to be. Totally.
Seaki Figured they wouldn't know one another so a mini-intro would be cool. But the pleasantries can totes be overlooked if you want! |
