And he had to continue practicing. His caretakers wouldn't react well to any laziness that may have come from him. And he wanted to get better too, but alas, he had been spotted some months back with his caretakers and had been forced to come here. Otherwise he would have stayed with them and learned all that he needed to there, and could have continued to practice what he truly wanted to do.
Unfortunately, he was still learning, and getting caught like that, while an accident, had been something that was bout to happen at some point as a Freshling. The Caretakers decided to take advantage of it though. If they were needing any information, they told Arkan to stalk anyone who may have been of interest, break into the dorm rooms, look through their things, etc. and write back any information that he may have found so that they could use it.
But that wasn't what he was doing today. He opened the library doors quietly, no one turning even an ear in his direction as he opened them. Today her was just here for practice. And so he set about going behind some of the bookcases and scoping out the best spot to practice, when he saw another Freshling, a classmate he had seen in a couple of his classes, looking for, what seemed to be books on a specific festival.
Curiosity got the better of Arkan. What was this festival and what did they do during it? He moved over to where the other freshling was, hoping to have not made any noise, and when he was almost right next to the other said, "What are you getting books on?"
