Bearkit trotted out of the nursery looking fat but not so happy. He was confused why he was singled out and his mom and Owlkit and Rabbitkit weren’t with him. What were they doing that he wasn’t invited too? Had he misbehaved somehow? Did they find food and they weren’t going to share? OH FORESTCLAN DID THEY FIND A BIG FISH AND WERE LEAVING HIM OUT ON PURPOSE?!! “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!” he wailed, his tiny paws carrying him full speed into the waiting and frowning nose of Foxfur. “Oof…”
With a squeak, Bearkit flopped backwards onto his hind quarters, tail between his hind legs and sticking up awkwardly. One left foot of beans was raised in the air while the right one was splat flat on the ground. Tilting his head, Bearkit looked over the orange cat but nose wiggled and immediately he was distracted by the offering left. “Yayhe!” he squeaked, diving onto the prey and chewing on it relentlessly.
After a bit of chewing and making more of a mess than success at eating, Bearkit glanced back at Foxfur. “What doin?”
