The issue with the alchemy cache had been fixed. Thank you for the heads up!

We will talk to the UI designer and see if there's a better way to display runway status with marriage status. Probably make it into an icon instead of a banner.

The mobile app will support secondary authentication soon, so secondary auth is required everywhere once it's enabled.

My friend recently locked herself out of her account because she deleted her second auth app. How should she go about recovering her account? Will you offer backup codes so this doesn't happen? People accidentally lose phones or delete apps frequently enough that this shouldn't totally lock someone out.

It's time to build a buyer's market to fix usermade artificial inflation and the issue of unlisted items.
Give us a place to list an offer to buy an item (perhaps put tabs on an item's mp listing for "items that are for sale" and "offers" similar to how user stores have tabs for items and outfits.) The offer listing would take gold/plat out of our account like a trade would until the listing sells or is cancelled or times out.
For example, I go to the angelic halo mp page, click on the offer tab, and list my offer for 5 trillion gold that I would buy an item for (and it would add tax at some point, either showing the offer price lower than 5 tril or, better yet, adding tax to the amount it takes from me so it still shows 5 tril on the offer page.) Someone that has the item can look at the offers and decide to click on "sell" to get the 5 tril and send the item straight to me.
This buyers market would help combat the artificially inflated prices by showing what people are willing to pay. It would also help for items that are not listed (esp if you or gaia upgrade lets us see how many buyers listing there are when we click the item in our invo, like it currently shows for how many listings for sale there are).
These offers would have to be in another tab on our store, next to selling and outfits. I don't know if we would need to limit it by 50 offers, like we have 50 selling slots. But I hope we could have at least 100 slots.
PLEASE consider spending time on this, because it would really be a huge feature that EVERYONE would love.

In the market place, would it be possible to change the filter categories, replacing all the different equipable item ones of hat, tops, bottoms, hand held, accessories, etc with one large human equip item filter? It would be far more relevant and allow us to see items to use for our avies without all the stuff that doesn't apply.

Hi, a month ago I asked this and had a response from Amy and said they were about to implement new avatars for the registration page. Is this still in the works? Also, what about an update for the registration/home page? Could be better to update it to attract new users.

That's still on me sweatdrop I did take a week off in June and ended up spending a lot of my time planning/executing work that needed to be prepped for that week. I'll try and tackle it this month, my apologies!

We had a whole bunch of surveys lined up to go out (some already have) and a future one include this topic! Some of us are finishing eating a late lunch and afterward more surveys would be sent out!

Could a "relist" or "alter price" feature be added to the user stores? Currently, if you want to change the price of an item you have listed you have to cancel it and then go to another page to relist it, which can be quite a hassle, especially if you own more than one of the item so it doesn't go to the end of your inventory.

We will probably need o do some changes to make sure that changes do not get cached for other users, and no one would get the wrong item if someone purchase an item right when it is edited. This might take a small while to implement.

hello! have you folks considered connecting gaia to twitter? having even a premade "Check out my Avatar on #GaiaOnline! [link to user profile/etc]" automatic post that's clickable from the my avatar page might secure more pageviews and increase user retention :O most everybody I know is on twitter, these days!
edit: perhaps users who connect their twitter account might receive a small platinum bonus to help incentivize it?

As far as I can see, there haven't been any new mods who have joined the team for quite some time. As obviously they are volunteers who are very busy and sometimes things will come up in their lives which means they may need to step away from this position, are there any steps being taken to bring on new users who are interested and meet the requirements?

We do have some new mod applications, and once we get organized the training will begin. Separately we are making other changes to gain new members.

so right now the total prize for the runway's free theme is 1,659 plat. split between 10 users. was wondering if this could be scaled up a bit to better reflect our economy? cuz right now a user only needs to post twice to make the same amount as 1st place ..which is kinda underwhelming sweatdrop
hope this doesn't sound ungrateful. just looking for ways to improve the user experience, so thanks for hearing me out!

I know a few NPC's are hollow avatars , Klaus Clockenmeyer if thats his name. The Von Helloing twins at entrance to DMS and there's a lot at Gold Beach .
But does that mean somebody hasn't logged into their account for a long time and needs to change Wardrobe .
As I frequently see normal Gaian's coming back after a long hiatus and walking around like Ghosly Intermediate outlines . But I just tell them to go to dressup , change something and save . Then start again . Normally that sorts out Hollow avatar's .

Please don't do this! Trading with gc is an important part of the economy, as not everyone can afford to purchase gc. And gifting gc isn't a good way to trade and not get scammed, unless it's built into the trade feature (which still has problems with missing game items, btw.)

I guess Lanzer's statement left room for a lot of imagination; gift cards aren’t being phased out (in the way you all probably imagined), we are just hoping to transition to a different system best outfitted for Gaia Cash and the way people gift it.
Gift cards aren't in the cash shop for various purposes from time to time anyway, I would just see it as them taking a vacation for right now.

Not every Area Scripts was released (Only for Barton Town, Village Greens and Bills Ranch) and I was wondering if every Area Scripts could be uploaded ? As well as for Rings and Player Stats and User Interface scripts?
It would be nice to make all of zOMG's code open-source and free for all now and release them for viewing for all Gaians to see? Thanks! It would be helpful for finding out and understanding zOMG more! whee

Sorry for the delay. The map itself is ready but we still need to adjust the script for the NPC and other actions so that you don't automatically get bounced off the map.
I kept forgetting but I'll upload the rest of the scripts when I get a chance. sweatdrop

Are staff aware of the issue with the Captcha on Runway? For some users when the Captcha prompt shows up for voting, it just is the loading circle forever, meaning that they cannot have votes counted past the first instance of the Captcha appearing.
