xxxxxxxxx█ Gwen seems to be a very cheerful girl. She is always seen with a smile on her face. In reality she is a tortured soul. She has a hard time getting close to people because of her parents constant abuse. This being said does not mean she can not connect with others it just takes longer for her to trust others than most people. She also flinches when people move around her to fast for fear of getting hit. She also gets jumpy around really loud noises and has a tendency to say sorry even when it is really not needed. She is fairly shy and gets skittish when she is around a lot of people actually she gets skittish around even a few people.
Despite all of this she has always been a loving and caring person. She is always willing to help others. Once someone has earned her trust and friendship she is a very loyal friend and would do anything she can to help them. Despite missing a bunch of school she is quite intelligent but does not flaunt it. Yes she will work hard on her work in class to get perfect grades but she will not show off to other people.

xxxxxxxxx█ Empathy is the ability to feel and understand other people's feelings, emotions, and desires as if they were your own. Gwen can feel exactly what another person is feeling, and for the same reasons, without direct contact with them. She is often called an Empath. Well to be exact she can feel the emotions of everyone that is with in 20 miles of her.
*The most basic level of empathy involves feeling what other people are feeling, either automatically or by focusing on them. The former usually occurs when she encounters strong emotions. She can also understand and interpret the reason or truth behind certain emotions, often instantly, thereby gaining some insight into what others are thinking, physical sensations, or their desires.
limitations-Sometimes has a hard time focusing on just one.
*Channeling the emotions from any being that can produce them. She can use it to locate a person, verify a person's existence by sensing their emotions, be alerted to nearby disasters by picking up on the volume of the victim's emotions and pain, and can even use the power as a lie detector.
limitations-She is still working on the lie detector part. She can not tell when someone is just telling her a half truth. She can not quite pinpoint someone s location yet but is usually with in a mile.
*Another aspect of empathy is being able to experience verbal feedback when channeling heightened emotions across great distances, thus allowing the user to physically hear the person she is channeling speak.
Weakness-Can not be switched off and as such, can cause her to act on the emotions as if they were their own or become overwhelmed. It can drive her insane if it gets to be to overwhelming. Can cause Migraines and cause her to act out often putting herself in dangerous situations.

xxxxxxxxx█ Gwen is the only child of Frank and Amy Collins. To outsiders and even people who knew them they looked like the perfect family. They went to church every Sunday. Everyone that new them boasted on how well behaved Gwen was. She got perfect grades all threw out school. Despite the fact that she missed a lot of school she finished middle school two years early. So her parents decided to home school her a few years. Everyone thought it was such a good idea. She would be able to join back in school with kids her own age later.
Gwen only has one good memory of growing up. One day when she was out in the wood she happened to come across a wolf cub that seemed to have been abandoned by its mother. She took it home with her and surprisingly her father let her keep it. She named him Dean and raised him from that day on. He became very protective of her and even attacked her father to save her.
But obviously they were not the perfect family. From the day she was born Gwen's parents hated her. She was physically and mentally abused by them every day. It was not unusual for her to show up at school with bruises, split lips, and black eyes. Despite all the signs teachers never did anything about it. Her parents always played it off saying she got in a fight with another kid. When she started up school again people started to get suspicious when she started to shoe up with broken bones.When she ended up in the hospital for getting stabbed in the chest by her father the state arrested him. The blade had actually entered threw her back and was long enough to exit from her chest. Sadly nothing stuck her parents had bribed the jury so he was released and sent home where he and her mother continued to abuse her. Her empath ability only mad things worse. Not only would she get the physical blows from her parents but she could also feel their raw hatred for her. When she was accepted into the school she was excited. She thought it would be a new start for her. But her hopes were crushed when she found out that they decided to move to the town right next to the school.
