Screech Owl always followed the path his paws set him on these days. There was no real plan or direction in mind when he would wake up each morning. Today his paws brought him to a more mountainous region he thought twice before venturing upwards, but his curiosity got the best of him. He climbed high and enjoyed jumping from stone to stone though occasionally it would scare him a bit, but what's life without a bit of thrill. Speaking of life it seemed like it had been forever since he had last seen another of his kind. Despite feeling lonely though Screech insisted on keeping a happy body language about him. There was always something one could be happy about. The food he caught this morning, the adventure he was on now, the sun beating down and warming his pelt despite the fact it seemed to get a little colder as he moved into the higher atmosphere, and his precious shiny thing! He stopped for a moment to admire his pendant before wagging his tail and continuing on.
After awhile of exploring his ears perked as a scent hit his nose. A familiar and yet completely unknown scent of other wolves. He sniffed the ground and followed the scent for a small while. A pack border, he would love to see other wolves, but packs could be tricky, was it a friendly pack or a hostile one? Maybe if he just stuck to the border line he could safely run into a member or two without offending their territory too much. So that's just what he did his tail wagging the whole way hopeful he would run into someone who was nice.
