- Tsu tries to be the "cool guy". He'll openly flirt with just about anything that walks (mostly to see if they have gold to give him). He describes himself as a "slash and ask questions later" kinda guy, though he's only had to kill people for a job a handful of times. He tries extra hard to be cool for Hana, but this backfires sometimes and he ends up making a fool of himself instead. "Anything to see her smile, though."
Bio:
- Tsubasa Fujitou was born and raised in the Southern "slums" of Itomori. He was an only child as his mother was lost to disease shortly after his fourth spring. The Fujitou family didn't have much money, and his mother prioritized his life over her own. Tsu started working as soon as he could lift anything heavier than himself. Avian beastmen weren't common, so he was often used as a messenger or express delivery boy.
Tsubasa always admired the mercenaries he saw in the Market or at the Port, and once the boy was 15 (the age one is considered an adult in Itomori), he became a mercenary himself. Noble coin lured him in, though jobs with that much pay were once in a blue moon for Tsu. He fell in love on one of these jobs.
Tsubasa met Hana while he was scouting the Elven Castle in 'iilhi. To be exact, he fell out of her window. He had complained about this particular job under his breath and out of earshot of his employer (he was more of a "slash and ask questions later" kinda guy, not surveillence). But again, Avian Beastmen weren't common and his small stature was more likely to go unnoticed by the Elven guards. "Just glide around the castle a couple times," they said. "It'll be fine," they said. Well someone hadn't thought that plan all the way through, as Tsubasa was almost instantly spotted as soon as he approached the castle. Seeking cover, he dove onto the nearest balcony with open doors. He pressed against the wall to listen, hoping Elves didn't have some magic that allowed them to fly. Hearing the voices dissipate from outside, he breathed a sigh of relief and looked around the room he was in. He wan't above pocketing a few "loose trinkets" and there was bound to be plenty of those laying around a castle this size. Only then did he notice someone else in the room. Her brilliant purple hair was laced with flowers as her wide green eyes stared at him, startled probably by the strange beastman in her room. Tsubasa was starstuck though. She was more beautiful than anyone he had seen in Itomori and even among the few Elves he had met. Running footfalls echoed through the corridor loud enough to be heard within the room. Tsubasa in his dazed state stepped backward, tripping over the overly elegant curtain, and promptly falling off the balcony into the shrubbery below. Here he waited for the coast to be clear (and to think about the beautiful elf he had just seen) before returning to his employer to give what information he could, omitting the falling-out-of-a-window part.

- Many opponents don't notice Tsubasa's second sword, which he keeps tucked in his heavy coat. Used as a surprise finisher, Tsu uses both Chinatsu and Minatsu to deal twice the damage to an opponent.
