Maya was off duty at the moment, and until she was given any orders, she tried to get some relaxation in. There was a long beautiful stream connecting underneath the grassy walkway. The waterfalls rushing down from the tops of sparkling clear water was one of the most beautiful location spots she'd seen. It was always quite mesmerizing to watch, that's what made this her favorite place to chill. Just the sound of the water, running quietly, the nice air, it surely felt serene. Maya would sigh, breathing in the crisp air. It was a great feeling, but all she could think about was her sister and how she was doing. She hated being apart from her, but she had a job to carry out. She wanted to visit her instead of here, but her friend let her know they'd be going out for a bit, so they wouldn't be home. The whole time sitting in serenity on the grass above the water, she just couldn't stop thinking of her baby sister. She only hoped she was out having fun with her friend.

Kamari Hazelyn Lunar Guardian ❦ ☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽
✭✭✭ Usually at this time most of the Lunar Guardians were sleeping since their work mostly took place at night. Since yesterday was a slow day though Mari felt the need to do something active before passing out, so she decided to go for a run.
With her sword strapped to her back, and her armor still on, Mari ran through the town. She preferred to run with the weight of her weapon and armor on her so help build up endurance, and to ensure that in battle she'd be able to move around efficiently in it. As she ran, she found her self dodging and jumping over people and obstacles in the street. Not many were out since it was early, but she knew as the day passed it would only get busier and busier. After a while, Mari decided to take a break and paused near one of the many streams that flowed through the kingdom. Panting slightly she knelt down and took a handful of water and splashed it on her neck to help cool her down. She would have splashed it on her face, but she was wearing make up that she didn't wish to smudge. Even when training Mari wanted to look good so make up was almost always a must for her. Looking down at her reflection, she gave herself a small wink before saying "Even as a sweaty mess I still look hot. Not that I ever doubted it." Her thoughts then traveled to her brother who she remembered leaving that the Lunar Guardian Mahanon. She could help but to giggle as she thought about the flirting that might be going on. Honestly, she hoped her brother would take a chance with Mahanon. She wasn't expecting love at first sight but even just a romantic fling would do him so good. He had so many insecurities that made him afraid to get involved with other romantically and sexually, and she was really hoping he'd be able to move past that since she knew that deep down her little brother would love to have a family of his own. Just thinking about the adorable kids that he might either adopt or have one day brought a smile to her ace. She always believed she'd make a fun aunt but she wouldn't get the chance to find out unless Khal actually allowed himself to fall for someone.
After a few moments of rest Mari stood back up and noticed that there was a woman on the other side of the stream from her. The woman looked familiar but Mari couldn't quit figure out who she was. She was certain that she had to work in the castle, but as what? "Excuse me! Beautiful lady with the long flowing white hair!" Mari called out, not caring if the woman was gay, straight, or bi. She'd flirt with a tree if she felt like it. "Have I seen you around before? You look familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it." ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back

A voice echoed through the flowing streams of water, disrupting her thoughts as her mind came back to reality. Staring passed the river stood a female with long white hair, and emerald looking eyes. She was unfamiliar with whom she might be, or if she had ever ran into her somewhere. Her memory wasn't really jogging too well, if she was someone she ever passed by. Maya needn't be on alert though, as she was clearly an elf, there was no need to. She faced the female, as she described her own self before she began asking if she had seen her elsewhere. "I guess you could have, I tend to travel around a lot and I work guard shifts so I get placed around a lot of different locations. So, you might have at one point." Maya spoke up, even if she hadn't really ever seen her before, who knows maybe she had at one point and just failed to take notice. She tried to remember if she had ever seen this girl before, she liked to know as many people as she could within her own country. Getting to know everyone, you would always know who the stranger dangers are. And that's how you stayed safe and done the job correctly and to a much more satisfying point. "What about you? What job do you take up?"

✭✭✭ When the girl mentioned working guard shifts Mari grinned as she thought, I knew it. This girl works in the castle after all. If the woman before her truly was just a face Mari saw in passing she knew she'd probably forget her, so the fact that she rang any kind of bell suggested to her that she was someone she felt the need to take note of for some reason. Now she could confirm that reason was because they both worked for the royal family.
"I am a Lunar Guardian under the High Mother. My guess is we've seen each other around during work, but just have never spoken," Mari answered before she took notice of some rocks that stuck out from the stream. "Hold on for one moment," she said as she proceeded to jump from stone to stone with a certain level of grace so that she could be on the same side of the stream as the woman. Once she had crossed over she stuck her hand out and said, "The name's Kamari Hazelyn. My brother and I started working at the castle not too long ago." ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back

Maya listened as the girl explained whom she was, a lunar guard. Ah, she must have certainly run across her from somewhere! Work tends to keep you busy and focused, so she believed that's why maybe they hadn't met one another yet. Kamari certainly seemed correct in her assumption too. "Lunar huh, guess were working pretty much the same job!" She'd say with a smile, happy to hear it. She liked to meet people within her job, it kept everything fresh and nice. "Things have been a bit busy job wise, but it's nice to finally get the chance to talk to you!" Maya spoke with a sincere smile, nodding as the girl asked for one second. She'd awaited the girl as she hopped across some rocks in order to get passed the river and reach the side she was on. She had held a hand out to meet with the girls, shaking her hand with confidence and a pleasing smile. "It's nice to meet you, Kamari! I hope the job has been treating you well!" Releasing from the hand shake, she introduced herself. "My name's Maya Akari."

✭✭✭ Mari was never quite sure when she addressed other guardians or knights from the castle if they were going to be friendly or not. She's met a wide range of personalities since starting her job, but luckily Maya seemed pretty friendly. "To be honest I don't eve quite understand why we are all separated into Lunar Guardians, Emerald Knights, and so on, but that could just be because I haven't learned the ins and outs of this kingdom's system yet. But it is as you say, we all do similar work." Mari replied as her hand met with the other girl's in a firm shake. When she released her grip and said, "Maya? That's a nice name. But I may be biased sinceMaya kind of reminds me of my nickname, Mari." At that Mari chuckled a bit before continuing on. "As for the job, it's different from what I expected. To be honest, I didn't know what to exactly to expect, but I guess a part of me thought there would be more to deal with. This kingdom is more peaceful than I thought it would be." From the stories Mari was told as a child the elven kingdom was painted horribly. She was taught to believe that their laws were too restrictive and that their government was corrupt and flawed. For most of her life she heard nothing but awful things about this kingdom but upon arriving the flaws she saw weren't as bad as they were originally made out to be. Was this kingdom perfect? No. But it was definitely better than where she came from. ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back

Kamari's thoughts kinda got Maya thinking on that, truly it didn't make much sense to her either. They all worked the same job, why different names and separating the two from each other? That got her thinking and than questioning another. "Hm, it is quite odd. I hadn't thought about it in that way. Do lunar knights only work night shifts, or do they work the whole day?" She couldn't help but question, her own mind boggled by these thoughts that plaqued her intellect, looking for the answer to. No matter the time shifts start, at the end of the day, the job is all the same. Maya laughed a bit light heartily as Kamari spoke of being biased, having an almost quite similar name. "They are both nice names!" She said truthfully, thoroughly liking the names. Short and sweet, easier on the tongue. Kamari was certainly correct on her realization that the castle's surroundings were more peaceful, not requiring the knights and guardians to do too much. Hardly anything really took place, no wars, nothing. Certainly, they've had to do their jobs a couple of times, but nothing crazy of the like. "It's nice this way though. Plenty of breaks to relax, no worries to hinder you. It's a damn good thing were not getting any full blunt attacks, but even if we do, were always prepared with our trainings." Maya spoke highly and proud of the line of work, all she ever wanted was to protect all the elves of her town, at any price it took.
Through all this talking and her attention being focused towards the girls back, Maya couldn't help but take notice of the sword attached to her back, she was quite intrigued by it, fascinated at it's unique design in particular. "That's a really neat sword you got there! Is it easy to wield?" She couldn't help but ask, sword and forgery was something she was always in love with. It was her dream to become a top forgery one day, and some day wield one of the strongest crafted swords. A dream she hoped she could one day achieve.

Xweetoks Sorry for the late reply. Since a day has now gone by I don't really know what to do so for now I'm still writing as if this was the previous day ❦ ☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽
Kamari Hazelyn Lunar Guardian ❦ ☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽
✭✭✭ Mari was actually a little surprised that Maya wouldn't know more about the Lunar Guardians than her. She assumed that everyone would know about each other, but perhaps that mentality came from how she grew up. Growing up in a tightly knit demon worshipping cult everyone knew each other so it was weird when she met groups of people who were supposedly close but were still a mystery to each other. "Well on occasion I've been asked to work a little in the day if the castle is short on knights at the moment, but we are mostly expected to cover night shifts on a daily basis. We are a tactical force though so stealth related missions would be our top priority, but since I've started working there haven't been many of those." Mari explained with a disappointed sigh. She really wanted to be given a challenge, not just busy work. She wanted a fight and one with actual risk. Sparring with the other Lunar Guardians sometimes bore her since she knew there was no real danger in the situation. She wanted something unknown and she knew she'd only get that if an actual mission came her way. "Honestly, I feel like the breaks are too much. I get bored and while many things look good on me boredom does not. I need a mission quick or I'm going to have to start putting random activities out of a hat to pass the time," Mari continued as she crossed her arms. She could clearly picture her brother scolding her for talking bad about the position she was so lucky to be granted, but she didn't care. She had the right to be bothered by her job at times, especially when the job wasn't what she had expected.
Soon Mari's thoughts about her job ceased as Maya pointed out her sword. Mari smiled proudly as if she had just personally been complimented before unstrapped her sword and holding it in her two hands. She twirled it wound between her hands a bit as she spoke, "I've had years of practice with this sword so for me personally it is easy. She's like my precious baby. And yes, she's a she in my book," Mari said with a grin as she stopped twirling her sword and instead separated the blades to demonstrate how it could go from being a single double edged sword to two normal swords. "I had this beautiful thing custom made for me while traveling. It cost me almost everything I had at the time, but it was worth it. I had the design in my head for a long time prior but I needed to find a blacksmith with the skill to make me dreams a reality. Luckily, I was able to find such a man a few towns over. While he was kind of an @ss I can't deny that he sure knows how to make a sword." As Mari thought back to how she obtained the sword a small devilish grin appeared on her face. She remembered how at the time she didn't technically have enough money to pay for a sword of this quality but luckily she and the blacksmith came up with an arrangement that fit them both. "He also was very talented in other aspects too," Mari said with an insinuating wink and a small laugh. ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back

What Kamari said made much more sense than what Maya had been assuming, she just thought lunar would be lead towards more overnight shifts, but it was slightly different. If memory serves, she had seen her a couple times in the day. There was no limit of too many knights either, you could never have too many of those, especially when a dire situation occurs. "Ah, I understand. It would be nice to have missions together sometime! Stealth huh?" Maya pondered for a moment, a playful smirk slipping across her lips. "You ever do fun pranks with those skillsets?" Sometimes, she liked to just mess around. Of course, never on the job! But pranks were really fun, and she couldn't help it. It's why she wasn't the greatest knight. And probably, won't be for quite a while. All the same, she wished to become strong, just not lose having fun in the process. Although, Kamari's disappoint by the matter of having far too many breaks was a little overstretched. It was a good thing there were no devastating attacks, if there were, there were higher chances of elves being lost or killed in the process. But she was certain the girl just wished to have a proper fight or something, because no one would want death to occur. "It has been pretty quiet lately, hasn't it? I wish I could help you with that, but I can't. Maybe you can get a mission if you ask for one I something?" Maya spoke truthfully, she couldn't help her as she wasn't one whom gave out missions, that would be one of the higher up knights. There was always the thought of asking one for such a job, should one be available at the time. But, she was unsure if there would be.
While talking with Kamari, Maya took quite the notice in her sword, really loving the style and shape of it. Swords were her favorite thing ever, probably to the point she was a bit obsessive. They were as similar to her children, as she considered them to be. She watched with so much interest as the girl pulled it out, twirling it a bit. A sword with blades on both sides, it was magnificent! "Wow, that's so divine! I don't find calling the sword your baby strange, so no worries! I view them the same way, mines not as neat looking as yours but still my children all the same. " Maya said, pulling out a silver blade, it was long in depth, a shine going down the center. She made it herself, while she wasn't the greatest bladesmith, it was still everything to her. After Kamari got the sword to break off into two different swords and change the form, Maya's face was practically lighting up like a christmas tree, that was amazing to her! "Wow that's so neat!! Do you happen to remember the name of the creator or the place you bought it from? I'd love to take a look there! That's probably one of the best design's I've ever seen, a** or not they did an amazing job!" She was so entranced in the amazing sword, not even blinking just soaking the beautiful sight in, until she heard Kamari said he was talented in other things..some how she didn't want to know. "I'm afraid to ask what else he is good on, I feel like it's something I don't wish to know." Maya said with an awkward laugh, sweat dropping down her cheeks awkwardly.

Xweetoks Actually with war being recently declared maybe we can incorporate the day change with a change of location. Like have the two hear rumors in the streets about a war and rush back to the castle. Once they arrive at the castle I can insert a time skip and mention after they came back they got all the details and ever since then have been on the clock non-stop or something like that ❦ ☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽
Kamari Hazelyn Lunar Guardian ❦ ☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽☾ ❧☽☾❦ ☽☾❧☽☾❦☽
✭✭✭ Kamari was pleasantly surprised when she heard the knight before her mention pranks. All this time she assumed everyone who worked in the castle was a little goodie-goodie, nice to know that some had a little wild in them. Unfortunately for Kamari it made the woman all the more attractive to her, but she had a feeling that Maya wasn't into her. "Nothing tortures me more than hot straight girls... Well... I guess being cut open alive would be a greater torture... But still." Kamari thought as she listened to Maya speak.
"I don't know if the Lunar Guardians and the Emerald Knights get a chance to work together since they are typically assigned different things, but it would make sense to assume that some missions would call for the skills of both groups so maybe some day we'll fight alongside each other." Oh just picturing a quality fight in her head made Kamari feel all warm and fuzzy inside. She really was a thrill junky. "As for pranks, I usually reserve those for my kid brother, but he's really smart so sometimes he's able to catch me. I did pull a prank on a few of the other Lunar Guardians before. You see, they weren't always so nice to my brother, so some I taught a lesson more up front, while others I was more sly with," Mari said as she thought back to this one day of training where everyone was practicing silently moving from place to place. She had put some runes on some trees that were being used in the exercise as she hoped from branch to branch, and as a result the next few guardians who jumped into the trees she had marked found themselves on weakened branched that snapped at the slightest touch. Of course most of them blamed her, but with the runes destroyed when the trees collapsed there was no solid evidence against her. "Don't get me wrong though, I take work very seriously so I don't typically do anything too troublesome on duty, however, there are times where you just have to teach people a lesson," she said with a devious smirk.
Now having shown off her sword, Mari reconnected the two blades and strapped it one again to her back. She was glad to meet another weapon enthusiast and wondered if perhaps Maya collected weapons like her. Before asking she took a look at the weapon Maya presented her with. It was a typical design, but even something that looks average could prove to be either great or poor quality. "May I touch it?" Mari asked before slowly letting her hand run over the blade. Her blue eyes trailed the movement of her hand and it was clear that in that moment she was very focused on the weapon. "Feels perfectly smooth. I don't notice any odd curves, bends, or breaks." Then Mari tapped gentle on the sword and said, "Strong metal. Good thickness. I'd say it's a well made sword." While Mari wasn't the most book smart girl you'd ever meet her love of weaponry did lead to her studying their craftsmanship in her spare time. In another life maybe she would have been a blacksmith, but fighting called too loudly to her. She wouldn't be able to live just making weapons. She wanted to use them too. "Oh his name is Tybalt Herdin ((ooc:I just made up some random name)). I believe he's a half elf. He is considered a natural born genius in blacksmithing so I highly recommend seeking him out." And just as Mari finished her recommendation she noticed Maya get a little weird. She was sweating a little and mentioned how something she didn't want to know. "Oh, I see... You're a shy one! That's cute!" "Yep, definitely not into me. Guess this once I won't push my luck since it seems like I could at least gain the friendship of a fellow weapon appreciator from this, Mari thought as she spoke. "Look, don't worry so much honey. I may be a sexual deviant at times but I know how to respect a lady's wishes. I only want someone if they want me so don't take my sexual talk too seriously," she said with a laugh before out of the corner of her eye she noticed a woman running frantically down the street.
The woman stopped close by and frantically told a friend of hers that both the castle and a nearby village were attacked by demons. Immediately Mari turned towards the woman and yelled to get her attention, "Excuse me, what did you say!?" Mari shouted as her eyes widened in shock. The woman and her friend ran over to Mari and Maya and repeated what was just said. The castle was apparently attacked by some minor demon, loves were lost, but it was taken care of. The town attack however resulted in nearly the entire town being wiped out. Only a single person survive. "Khal..." Mari whispered as concerned showed on her face. Her brother was strong, but no one knew that. She had no clue if his desire to keep his strength hidden would have resulted him getting hurt by this recent attack or not. "Looks like I'm getting what I want after all. Not going to be so quiet after today. Maya, we should head back. Who knows where our help might be needed." ✭✭✭ ═━┈┈┈━═ ✭Mari's Love Interests: No one of name yet wink ✭Mari's Wearing: (In image) and her double-edged sword is strapped to her back

Maya was wondering the differences between their jobs, but Kamari was right, and if they had worked together, most certainly they would of known one another by now by name. "That makes better sense, you're right. Well, I'll certainly be hoping for that day!" She smiled cheerfully, getting to work with Kamari sounded like it would be a blast, that was something to be looking forward to. She couldn't help but smirk as pranks were being spoken of, she believed every once in a while there was time for fun, just not during some serious training or mission or something. She knew when was a bad time and when would be a fine time. "Oh, what's your brothers name? I'm wondering if I've ever run into him before." Maya listened closely as she explained she would only sometimes do pranks to those who messed with her brother, that felt heartfelt. Her heart certainly was in the right place, she was a good person intentionally. "Nah I understand what you mean, I don't blame you. If anyone treated my sister poorly, you can be certain I would not let them get away so easily with that, so I understand where you're coming from. Brothers, sisters, their our family. It's our duty to watch over them, family's important." She would say, she only hoped that didn't sound pretty cheesy, it wasn't exactly intended that way, but it might have been interpreted.
Maya was still practically fan girling over the other girls weapon, it must be so convenient in a fight too. Showing off her own weapon next, she would hand it over to Kamari with a simple nod as she asked if she could touch it. She smiled delightfully, as the girl was telling her it was nicely crafted. "You think so? Thank you! I just love the metal feel of swords, strong sturdy ones, what gives a sword truly it's best quality." Maya said very excitedly, Now onto the question of whom crafted the sword Mari had, she would eventually have to find this person, even more so by her recommendations. "With how amazing your sword turned out, and being recommended by you, I will certainly be looking for this half elf! I'm rather excited." She said still smiling, all the excitement of getting a brand new sword was so exhilarating! Even as Maya sweated with a slight blush towards whatever it was Kamari was getting at with this man, and as far as she knew, she didn't want to know. Her blush deepened a redder color at the mention of her being a shy one, the awkward tensions rising. "Ahh no, it's n-nothing like that!" She had all these weird thoughts in her head of what he would also be doing, and that just made it more awkward. She only got redder as Mari stated she was a sexual, her mouth hanging open in shock and not knowing how to respond without it sounding weird.
However, before she could say anything, there was a woman shouting nearby which gained the attention of the two, especially with what they swore they heard her say. Maya stared over towards Kamari worriedly, she seemed to be really worried about another. This news-this was really bad! Her worries strengthened, she felt like the best plan was to check on everyone. She nodded in agreement to Mari, feeling the exact same about the predicament. "Agreed! We might be needed and I wanna make sure everyone's okay! We should go back together." She said, wishing to go as soon as possible, she wouldn't feel good until she knew what happened. ((OOC: That sounds perfect! : D))

✭✭✭ "Do you know the names of those who were injured?" Mari asked the woman who spoke of the attacks, longing for information to make sure her brother was ok. The woman replied no but was sure that since Mari was a Lunar Guardian (the woman knew this based on how Mari was dressed) she could get all the details she needed at the castle. "Well thank you for telling me this much." The woman then asked if the people of the kingdom would be granted more details when they came in, to which Mari could only say, "I don't decide those things. I'm the punch the bad guys in the face girl, not the town cryer girl. The best I can do is pass along your desire for information to my superiors. Perhaps the High Father and Mother will make some kind of announcement on the matter."
Mari then turned back towards Maya and nodded her head in the direction of the castle. "Come on, let's hurry then," she said before taking off in a sprint, hoping that Maya wasn't far behind.

Maya watched as Kamari questioned the witness, unfortunately she hadn't given nearly enough information. But certainly it would most likely be frightening to this bystander. She watched the two for a moment, her gaze focusing on the surroundings too, just in case anyone would try to get the jump on them. Gazing back to Mari, She would simply agree, nodding her head all the same. "I'm right behind you!" She followed closely behind, praying all the same everyone would be alright. She certainly wasn't expecting a real war to errupt out of nowhere like this. [Exits] ((OOC: No worries! : ) Exit posts are best shorter, I'll post her in the castle tomorrow if alright.
