┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ "Ah!" Lara yelled as she opened up an old barrel and a rodent jumped out at her. It gave her a sort of hiss noise before scurrying off down the road. "Rude. I was just looking for things to scavenge! You'd think a rat would understand that wouldn't you?" Lara said as she looked behind her at her two animal companions. The wolf, Allura, was napping on a half rotted porch while the bear, Tiny, got his head stuck in yet another empty barrel. "And aren't you two just being so useful..." she said with a sigh before helping Tiny free his face from the wooden cylinder on his head. He rubbed his massive head against her lovingly in appreciation and Lara smiled. She gave him a small kiss on his fury cheek and said, "You can be very weird, but I love you more than anything."
At that Allura raised her head and gave Lara a look that suggested that she might be jealous which made her chuckle. "I love you too Allura. You know that I grew up with Tiny though. He's family. But you are my best friend. Sound good?" That seemed to be decent enough for the wolf since she returned to resting without any further weird looks. "I guess we have been traveling a lot so you two are probably tired. Our cabin is still pretty far from here so we can stay the night. On the way back home how about we visit the faeries? Grandpa keep writing me saying that he wants to see me anyway," Lara told her animals friends as she took a peak into he satchel. She had sold almost all of her medicines and poisons, only saving a few for herself in case she needed them. "I doubt I'll find any ingredients to make more potions here, but maybe I can find something of use. You two rest up. I'm going to keep looking around. Hopefully, Tiny will be able to keep his big head out of trouble," Lara said as she looked directly at Tiny who gave her a look of innocence.
On that note, Lara walked off and started going from house to house. She found nothing but rotting walks, broken remains of chairs and tables, and occasionally some rotted food that wasn't safe for even a rat to eat. Even though her search seemed pointless she decided to keep at it for a while. She had already hunted with her animal companions today so she didn't have to worry about food for them. They should all be good until the morning. ....................

 Strider Rose After being unchianed Strider made her way to the neutral lands and was very tired too. She was glad to be set free and promised herself to never go looking at flowers for a long time as it had her almost killed . " I wonder if anyone is here ?" she replied to herself as she kept on walking in search of some sign of life . Strider was alone and had no pets to help her right now , so she kept on walking in hopes of seeing a little river to drink from or anything at all.

Before Lara knew it she had found herself spending a good portion of the night rummaging through old houses and finding near to nothing. She found some old raggedy blankets that she could use for extra warmth during her stay but any left over weapons were rusted and there was nothing of real value in sight. Once the moon was high in the sky she decided to give up her search and rest. She returned to where she left her animals and of course Allura, who was previously napping, was now wide away while Tiny was fast asleep. "You keep watch tonight Allura. I would play with you but I'm too tired.I promise I'll give you more attention tomorrow ok?" And one that note Lara curled up on top of Tiny, covering them both with the blanket she found, and slept.
The next morning Lara was woken by Allura nudging her face. "Yeah,yeah we'll go hunting..." she mumbled, still kind of sleepy, but Allura was persistent. Lara sat up and looked Allura in the eyes before her animal empathy kicked in. She could sense that Allura was concerned, it seems that the wolf sensed a presence. "Scout it out. Stay hidden but stay sharp," Lara said before her grey wolf wandered off to investigate. As for Tiny, she knew there was no way to really disguise the huge bear so she woke him up and made him hide behind one of the old houses. "Don't want to risk it being hunters. Many would kill for a bear pelt as big as what you offer. But don't worry buddy, I won't let anyone hurt you," Lara said with a small smile before leaving her friend to go check out the new presence herself.
She traveled behind the houses, avoiding the main road. She found an alleyway that connected back to the main road so she hid in it and waited to see if she could spot a person walking by. Once she was settled her eyes glowed blue for a second, signally that she was activating her abilities. Allura, can you hear me? Lara asked mentally as she activated the mind link between her and her wold. Her wolf responded yes and that she could smell the new visitor. She wanted to reveal herself since the woman she saw did not seem like a hunter, but Alara insisted that Allura let her take a look first. With another blue flash coming to Lara's eyes she activated scrying which allows her to perceive things through the sense of those she is linked to. In the moment she could see through Allura's eyes. She watched as her wolf wove through some streets until she was able to peak at the strange woman from out behind some barrels. From where the wolf stood she could not see the woman's face but she took in her figure. Allura told Lara through their psychic connection that she believed she could take the woman down if needed but Lara told her not to be in such a rush. Do you sense anything strange about her? Lara asked. Often, animals were able to sense if things were off about certain people and from what Allura told her it seemed like there was definitely something about this woman but she couldn't tell if it was threatening. Alright, I'll travel to where you are. Look around a bit so I can get a better idea of your position. I'll face the woman and if things go down hill I'll need you on stand by for back up. I'll link to Tiny too and have him know where we are so that he can meet up with us, lara telepathically said as her wolf gave her insight on where she was.
Within minutes Lara was where the woman was, and after watching the woman casually strolling around for a while she decided to make her presence known. She broke her connection to her animals for the time being, in order to be perfectly focused on the girl in front of her. "Who the hell are you?" Lara asked coldly as she leaned against the wall of one of the many old houses. "You don't see many people around these parts, so I have to wonder what you're doing here. Looking for something perhaps?" ....................

 Strider Rose Strider was happy to see another person and replied " I am Strider Rose , I was held prisoner in the elven dungeon and just now got here . I am looking for Yoleffiel Kingdom ? I do hope we can be friends ?" , then took a deep breath to settle herself down a bit . She hoped that she was not causing more trouble again with people that she did not know and was having trouble trying to find her home lands . " I am sorry if I had startled you , I am new to these parts and I could use a friend " she went onto to say to the lady as she stood there shaking all over from fear.

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ Lara was a little taken back by the casual tone that the woman had when mentioning that she was a prisoner. Like who takes such a thing so lightly? But more important, why was she a prisoner to begin with? Honestly, the whole thing seemed sketchy to Lara. This girl came off as kind and cheery but she managed to get herself locked up somehow. Perhaps there was more to her than she was trying to let on?
"Well you're certainly an odd one Strider Rose. You can call me Lara or Lars. I don't really have name preferences," Lara said as she eyes the girl suspiciously up and down. "I travel to and from Yoleffiel so I can show you the way. Before that though I'd like to know, what got you throw in a dungeon? You steal something from a noble? Insult the elven royal family's name?" Lara asked as she crossed her arms. She could sense that Allura was still near by and she had mentally told Tiny where she was, so he should be on his way.
Looking at Strider, Lara had to admit that she did look like she went through hell and back. She was visibly shaken but being a skeptical person Lara couldn't tell if she was faking or not. As she questioned the girl a little voice went off in Lara's head. She remembered that her whole purpose was to help the fae understand people better and as such she needed to learn to trust more herself, however, that was all easier said than done. In Lara's experience it was better to depend on yourself and a small group of people,or in her case animals. I can't risk letting my guard down. People can be cruel. Best to stay on guard for now, but that doesn't mean that she can't be flexible. "Also how long have you been traveling? Unless you're being hunted down I suggested taking a brief rest. Occasionally, you'll find thieves along the trial to Yoleffiel so you want to have your strength up just in case." ....................

" Well I was traveling and came across a beautiful flower garden area . I was resting there when they came and got me for trespassing is all " Strider replied as she took a brief rest with Lars . She hoped that she would be kind to show her out of the abandoned city and share some water with her. " I didnt do anything bad , was just crossing over is all and got caught at the wrong place at the wrong time is all " she replied trying to make it easy for her to uunderstand.

The wealthy tend to be defensive about their possessions, and since nature was of great importance to elves it made sense that they would be protective of their flowers. Even so, still best not to underestimate the girl quite yet.
"Alright, well I am sorry for what happened to you. I can tell you this, you won't find much here. This place is good for a quit place to rest, but there's no food or water. If you know how to hunt I'd suggest the woods for meat, if not there are also bushes with berries in the forrest as well. There is a body of water not far from here that has some edible plants around the edges of it if you are no master at hunting or foraging," Lara explained, figuring that no harm would come from telling the girl where some resources are.
While talking Lara couldn't help but to wonder about her animals companions. She knew that if they truly sensed any danger they'd come to her aid, especially Allura who was even more skeptical of a creature than Lara. She wanted to touch base with her friends again but didn't want to girl to see her use her powers. She figured it was based to keep her magical abilities a secret for now in case the woman was indeed an enemy or just someone who was biased against those with magic. ....................

Strider was grateful to hear of water near by and kept walking with Lars a little further down the road . She was not sure what to do at this point but felt that listening to Lars might be a good idea for now. " I had no intention of hurting the elves flower garden , I was just admiring them and would have went about my way back out" she replied to Lars as they continued to walk some more.

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ As Lara walked with the girl she couldn't help but to role her eyes as she continued to explain her situation. Really the more she explained it the more it just seemed like a lie that she was trying to convince Lara of, but she decided to bite her tongue and not say anything for the time being. "Again, I am sorry that you ended up a prisoner in that situation then. At least now you are free and hopefully you'll be able to establish a nice life for yourself in Yoleffiel."
After speaking Lara looked of to her left and whistled, immediately her grey wolf jumped out from behind a corner. She slowly approached the two while softly growling at Striker. "She won't attack you unless you do something that seems threatening to me, her, or our other friend," and on that note Lara did a weird grunting noise and out popped her giant bear from the right. "So Strider meet Allura, the grey wolf, and Tiny, the ironically named bear. They are my best friends in the world and we all protect each other. What that means is don't try anything funny and nothing bad will happen? Good? Good. Glad we have reached this understanding. Now do you want to take a pit stop at the lake to freshen up? A simple yes or no will suffice," Lara said in her typical cold demeanor. She was a hard girl to talk to at first because she tended to be quite b*tchy towards strangers, but underneath it all she was caring. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be helping Strider out at all. ....................

 ( why do you assume that my character is lying?) Strider replied " Yes , let's stop for a pit stop " and then looked at the wolf and bear that had accompanied them on their journey . She was not afraid of them as she had three house cats back at her apartment . " Hello there guys " she replied to them and then looked for the water area to get a drink and rest for a little bit . Strider wanted to get to know Lara but felt that she wasnt starting off on the right foot with her , so she didnt talk much or at all for awhile.

It is just her nature to be skeptical. Part of the reason why she is like that relates to her basically being adopted by faeries who don't like humans that much but she is mostly human herself))
"Alright then. The lake is up ahead. we will stop there," Lara replied as the group exited town. Her animals soon calmed down upon seeing that Strider was staying relaxed and calm. To them this signaled that she was ok and perhaps even friendly. Either way, they were loyal to Lara and often looked at her as she walked to see if she would signal any commands. She did not.

 Strider leaves with Lara to the shepard's lake and hopes that it is a beautiful place to take a little break from walking and maybe get to know Lara a little better too . [exit to shepard's lake]
