He didn't need any extra special senses to see that the man was flustered. His blood was quickly pumping, meaning that his heart was beating quickly. His engine running smoothly, was probably a fluster fueled statement, that one could tell Oliver immediately regret. But he supposed that he didn't need to pick on him for it. Especially since Oliver looked like he was moved by the mere notion of the detective bringing him a meal to eat. "I know, but I wanted you to eat something homemade." Now there was the blood collecting on the man's face after the kiss, which made Az want to tease him all over again. "It doesn't have to be fancy for you to look good in it. I like the way you look in casual clothes too." He would assure the man with a soft smile. To him, Oliver could be wearing rags and he would still find him attractive. Oliver was just an attractive person. Not just in looks, but in personality and in the way he spoke. It was hard not to like him. That may be a biased opinion on his part, but he still felt like it was entirely true. "I am going on a date with you, not the people who stare. I don't care if people look at me because I am not dating those people." Another kiss was stolen from the Pi as the detective smirked.
"Besides, I already know what your sex face looks like and I am a fan. I think it would take way much more than a few turned heads to make me give that up." Another kiss was stolen yet again as he moved closer to Oliver with and and took his hand to kiss it softly. "Ready, let us commence our date."

This is Me | What I do: Homicide Detective/Hero | My status?: Dating Oliver What is my preference?: | I am feeling: Happy | Who am I with?: Oliver | Where am I?: The Big City - The Private Eye | My Voice?: This~

One thing that Azazel had become known for with Oliver, was his demon-like personality when it came to intimate acts. So it was probably expected that he would continue to tease the male all throughout the night just to get a rise out of him. But in this moment, he wasn't thinking about how he was going to get the man into bed again. No, his focus was on the date itself. He honestly thought with how busy the two had become with recent cases, that he may not have the opportunity. So this was a momentous occasion. A day where he can just focus on Oliver and their time together.
"I disagree with you. I like your expressions. You are very much an open book. I get to see when I am doing things correctly. I want to please you, romantically and sexually."
He said simply with a smile, before letting Oliver lead him away from the place of the PI.

While Oliver was rather emotional with the movie, Azazel was completely okay. Because he reminded himself that the dog which was playing the part of Marley, was not actually put down. That made it all okay. Knowing that somewhere, an old Marley was enjoying their long doggy life with his real family. So, to console Oliver, during the movie, he held his hand to gently squeeze it and tried to whisper during the move that it wasn't real. It was the only form of consolation he could provide until they got out of the theater. After that, he properly wiped away the man's tears and gave him a big hug and a gentle kiss on the forehead.
Luckily, Oliver seemed to cheer back up while they shopped to make their meal and by the time they made it back to his place, the man's face wasn't so red anymore. He set bags down on the counter before giving Oliver a charming smile while his signature chuckle of amusement.
"There is nothing wrong with you getting emotional over the movie. They make it like that to get that reaction from you. If they tug at your heartstrings, that gets them money and success. Besides, I like your sensitive side, it shows that you have compassion with the people who come in here for your help." Helping him take the groceries out of the bags, he glanced as Oliver searched for the aprons. With a graceful motion, he came up behind Oliver and opened on the drawers to show the folded aprons. Taking one out of the drawer, the man unravels it before he puts the band over Oliver's head and ties it for him. Still standing behind him, the detective wraps his arms around the other's hips and kisses his cheek.
"I noticed that you didn't have a hook, so I folded them and put them in this drawer. I brought a hook for you the other day as a late house warming gift, but they are in my car. Remind me to get them for you later tonight."

The kitty apron, almost broke the detective's resolve to focus on the romance and not the less innocent thoughts. He couldn't help what came to his thoughts, an image of Oliver with nothing but the kitty apron against a counter. The man took deep breaths in and out and calmed himself down as he made sure that the apron was secure. Ahh, but with the male shifting around in his arms so much, that was roving difficult almost. Even still, the detective would try to prevail! He wasn't a detective who was known for being explosive. No, he was a calm and patient man! So holding himself back so they can enjoy their date, should be easy enough.
"I know, but I wanted to. As not only housewarming, but also as a thank you for taking time out of your schedule for me today."
Oliver soon pointed out that it was a rather late gift, the detective answering that with an awkward and guilty chuckle. He had to admit that he felt really bad about waiting to long to give him one, but before, he didn't have the courage to do so. He wasn't really sure what he would be able to give to the man that would be helpful. What exactly was considered an appropriate gift, and what was too much? This was something that the detective struggled with personally.
"I know, sorry about that again. We both got busy and I had no clue what to give you."
Loosening his arms enough for Oliver to shift within them, Azazel gave the man a charming smile as they came face-to-face again. Once in place, Azazel tightened his arms once again. his ears were nearly perked up as Oliver spoke, the detective hanging onto every word right up until the kiss. The one that made all his cards fall from his hands so to speak. It was such a shocking gesture, considering that the one who usually displayed affection was Azazel himself. His blink of surprise was followed by a quick return of that sweet kiss. His own lips catching Oliver's in a brief satisfying kiss.
"You feel lucky, as I do. So we are just two lucky men who played all our cards in life correctly."
The offer to put on his apron was extended, and then man nod his head and almost released him from his arms. That is, until he registered what he said completely. Hearing Oliver say that he was looking forward to their dinner together made the detective rather happy. A combination of their two lineages sounded like a nice blend which was sure to be interesting. Of course, Azazel's was mixed, but they weren't going to attempt to tackle Greek on top of the two already difficult countries.
"Did you just....make a kissing joke?"
The man asked with a growing grin, his arms tightening a little more now as he leaned closer. He was forgetting his resolve again as he pressed his lips against Oliver's, giving him a linger kiss that deepened to the stage of tongues. Just for him to completely pull away moments later with a smile. Focus, focus, focus/
"If we do not move to the cooking now, I ruin the dinner for us."

It was a good thing that Azazel could not hear the TORMENT of the narrator for Oliver. Because by now, he would be unable to hold himself back any longer. On top of Oliver being completely cute, with his flustered expressions and total innocence, Azazel really just enjoyed being close to him. He was a like minded individual who was a true delight to spend time with. Especially when he said such sweet things to the detective that made him feel welcomed wholeheartedly.
"I am always happy to do the same for you as well. I enjoy the days that we hang out together."
It was about at this point, where everything started taking a turn. Their bodies were pressed together, their tongue touching and sounds erupting from the PI's mouth. Devoured by Azazel's mouth as they continued to kiss. It seemed like dinner might not be something they get to for a little while, but of course, Az had pulled away and delivered his comment on not wanting to ruin their dinner. Even though he was VERY tempted to.
"Ah...perhaps I pulled away too late." He tried to joke softly with an awkward chuckle. He still blinked, however, when Oliver seemed focused on whiffing the detective for a moment. He wasn't exactly sure why, but as the PI cracked his joke, it became clear. It was like the room paused for a second as Azazel grew completely silent and some invisible meter was quickly pushing up towards the max. Grabbing Oliver's hand, the man pulled him closer to his form again and gave him another passionate and lingering kiss. When he felt satisfied with that, he pulled away and gave his companion's lip a gentle nibble.
"The lamb is trying to be the lion. How cute. But I still prefer devouring you whole instead of the other way around. However, I promised myself that I would behave, so, the lion and lamb need to put a pin in this for now so they can eat. I would hate to put all of our preparation to waste."
He pulls away completely with a smile before he held out his arms at his sides so that Oliver could put the apron on him.
