Basic Information

The weapon is a bullpup longstroke gas piston firearm, based on the Ak-108 and AEK-971 firing system, designed with a counter balancing firing system that helps to cancel out felt recoil of the user, and is chambered in the 6.2mm x 39mm cartridge. The firing system is closer to the AEK-971 than the Ak-108, being lighter weight and shorter, allowing for a smaller more compact gun. The gun still sports design improvements from the Ak-108, but is not as large or heavy, making it more maneuverable. As the weapon is bullpup and only uses a 16 inch barrel, firing a cartridge based on the 7.62mm x39mm case (which uses 16 inch barrels), it is a mere 24.5 inches long, being marginally longer than the P90 at 20.5 inches, around the same length as the micro tavor at 23.5 inches, and significantly shorter than most carbines, such as the M4 carbine and Ak-47 at 33-34 inches. The incredibly compact weapon has the same overall length as many PDW's or submachine guns, as well as the same low recoil, utilizing a recoil reducing mechanism. The weapons are unusually accurate due to this, and very easy to use in rapid fire. They also have a very short action, with their recoil being eliminted by the mechanism rather than be needing a long action. While the firearm's rate of fire is artificially slowed to 540 RPM to help reduce felt recoil and improve controllability, it can be increase to 950 RPM, although it is slightly less controllable and largely wastes ammunition in automatic fire. Other features such as a smoother action, muzzle break, dual recoil spring guide rod, and recoil buffer help to reduce the felt recoil of the firearm, making it very controllable. The gun, while designed to come with a 16 inch barrel, can also utilize a 10.5 or 21.5 inch barrel, which while not quick detachable can be removed along with the upper receiver and replaced with relative ease. The firearm borrows from the SIG 550 in this element, with the sig 550 itself based on the Ak-47 series of firearms.

The counter balancing system works by using an operating rod that pushes a gear forwards as well as backwards to achieve it's effect. This system uses a recoil-reducing countermass mechanism with two operating rods that move in opposite directions, thereby providing "balance". One operating rod, the upper, has a gas piston facing forward while the lower also has a gas piston. The gas tube at the forward end of the handguard is double-ended to accommodate the two rods. The enlarged gas tube cover of the upper handguard guides both rods in their travel. When the rifle is fired, gas is tapped from the gas port to enter the gas tube, driving the bolt carrier to the rear and the counter-recoil upper rail forward. The critical timing of the reciprocating parts is accomplished by a star-shaped sprocket that links and synchronizes both components, causing both to reach their maximum extension, or null point where forces are exactly equal, at exactly the same instant. The felt recoil is therefore eliminated, enhancing accuracy and assisting control during fully automatic fire. The travel distance of the AK-107 reciprocating parts is less than other Kalashnikov designs, so the cyclic rate is higher at 850–900 rounds/min rather than 600 rounds/min on other AK rifles. However, as the felt recoil is virtually eliminated, the manufacturer claims that accuracy is enhanced, especially during burst fire. An enhancement of 1.5 to 2 times, compared to the original AK-100 series, has been reported. Additional mechansism, such as an extremely smooth surface like in the AGS-30 helps to further reduce recoil by smoothing out the action. A multiple stage spring is used, in addition to a recoil buffer mechanism similiar to that used in the HK45 is used to help spread out the peak recoil force over the rifle's actions, instead of causing sudden jerks, reducing the felt recoil and decreasing the disruption of the user from shifting off his point of impact. A simple but important pepper pot muzzle break helps provide an additional 30-40% reduction in recoil, but does not disrupt the bullet in flight, aligning itself with the grooves of the barrel, similiar to the FN F1 and F2 sniper rifles, in order to maintain accuracy.

The 6mm x 39mm cartridge is based on the 7.62mm x 39mm case, but necked down to have a 6.2mm bullet. The bullet is more aerodynamic and accurate than the 7.62mm x 39mm on average, with it's shape leading to superior performance in many ways. The firearm utilizes a 7.15 gram (110 grain) bullet traveling at 810 m/s from a 16 inch barrel, with a G1 BC of .626, in comparison to a 5.56mm with .2 BC, and a 7.62mm NATO at .35 BC. This translates roughly to a maximum effective range of 1400 yards, and an effective range of 600 yards, still possessing more than a 5.56mm at the muzzle at 225 yards, as much energy as a .357 magnum at 700 yards, and as much energy as a handgun round or 500 joules at approximately 1300-1400 yards. The round is still super sonic until 1400 yards, allowing to remain stable and accurate until this range, serving as it's maximum effective range, until the round begins to keyhole and destabilize after passing the supersonic barrier. The round naturally still has 1 MOA, given the more ideal shape of the bullet, even despite the shorter barrel and lower quality barrel. This is similiar to the 6.5mm Grendel or 6.8mm Remington, which achieves sub 1 MOA of accuracy even from entry level firearms. The propellant used in the cartridge is more powerful than standard 7.62mm x 39mm ammunition, but still burns as quickly in the barrel, allowing it to reach close to it's full power from a 16 inch barrel, instead of a 20 inch barrel like the 5.56mm, allowing for a shorter overall weapon length and less muzzle flash. The cartridge weighs 11.5 grams, slightly less than the 5.56mm, and less than half of the 7.62mm NATO at 25.5 grams, allowing for a large volume of ammunition to be carried. Given it's high power at long ranges and lower weight, it can easily replace the 7.62mm NATO, while being substantially more powerful and capable than the 5.56mm NATO cartridge. This is achieved in part by the use of an aluminum case, reducing the case weight from 6.25 grams to 2 grams, and thus the overall weight of the cartridge from 15.5 grams to 11.5 grams, vs. the 7.62mm x 39mm at 16.3 grams.

Externally, the weapon resembles the ADS assault rifle, but it is not an amphibious assault rifle and simply shares similiar external aesthetics for compatibility reasons, as well as to a limited extent reliability when extremely wet. The weapon is designed to be used with a number of accessories, including a 40mm caseless grenade launcher which adds just 1.3 pounds and a suppressor, which can be removed. The grenade launcher is small and light, and each grenade is slightly lighter weight, allowing for approximately 50% more grenades to be carried for the same amount of weight, as well as lighter weight cartridges such as door breaching rounds or rubber rounds for significantly less weight. An infrared laser range finder can be equipped which allows for the rounds to air burst by programming them to explode in mid-flight, however due to the lower velocity of each round, it is less effective than many other comparable air bursting weapons. The suppressor reduces the sound of the weapon to hearing safe levels, and makes it difficult to hear the round out to 200 yards, where it completely dissipates the initial shock of the round. It is more useful at long ranges or in room clearing, being hard to hear or detect the round, and producing less acoustic vibration at close range or absorbing the rapport from the surrounding walls.

Basic Information

The weapon is a bullpup PKM machine gun, designed to fire the substantially smaller 6mm x 39mm cartridge meant to be used in the BzM-33h, and being much lighter and smaller than an ordinary PKM machine gun. Both due to the smaller cartridge and bullpup nature of the gun, it's substantially smaller than an ordinary machine gun, using a 16 inch barrel in comparison to a standard 24 inch barrel, shortening the overall length by 8 inches, and is bullpup, shortening an additional 5-6 inches off of the overall length of the gun, allowing the weapon to approximately 30 inches long depending on the version of stock it utilizes.

Firing System- RPG-7
Miscellaneous/electronic information- The weapon is essentially a modernized RPG-7, which is lighter weight, more accurate and fires longer range guided missiles, capable of using both older and more modern ammunition.

Basic Information

In 2009, the American company Airtronic USA unveiled a modernized version of the weapon called the RPG-7USA. The launcher is fitted with updated features including a MIL-STD-1913 Quad Rail System for mounting combat optics, flip-up back up iron sights, aiming lasers/illuminators, tactical lights, and vertical foregips, as well as an M4 carbine-style pistol grip and telescoping stock. Compared to the RPG-7V2, the American launcher, named by the company the Precision Shoulder-fired Rocket Launcher (PSRL-1), is slightly lighter at 14 lb (6.35 kg) unloaded without optics and is made of 4140/4150 ordnance-grade steel for a longer 1,000-round lifespan that can separate into two pieces for compact carry. The PSRL-1 uses EOTech sights with a new sighting system that combines an illuminated reticule for use in low light situations, and is able to be fitted with magnifying optical sights for long-range firing enabling 90% hit probability at 800 metres, twice the distance of other RPGs; rate of fire is 3-4 rounds per minute. It is reportedly accurate at ranges from 900-1,200 m, and guided rockets could extend range to 2000 metres. The weapon was a program of record in U.S. Special Operations Command by 2015, and the PSRL-1 was to enter production by mid-2016. Airtronic has also developed the more advanced GS-777/PSRL-2 model made of high-strength polymer that reduces weight to 7.85 lb (3.5 kg) and further improves durability and life cycle.

The variant used by Palernian guard, named the TK-95, primarily utilizes the 2000 meter (1.25 mile) round, which is approximately 8 pounds, and the RPG-7 variant which is 7.85 pounds. The ideal anti-vehicle weapon had a long range and was light weight, far exceeding the capabilities of the original RPG-7, and being more portable than other comparable weapon's like the Javeline anti-tank missile or Spike anti-tank missile. The RPG-7 ordinarily had a range of approximately 100-200 meters and was unguided, and was nearly 15 pounds, however the TK-95 has nearly 10-20 times the range, a guided missile, higher levels of armor penetration with an improved shaped charge warhead, and a lighter weight overall. The weapon can pierce the armor of most lightly armored vehicles, as well as early era tanks, such as the M60 patton, Sherman, or soviet T-54/55 tanks, as well as weaker parts of other tanks. The guidance system not only allows for a longer range but a targeting of weak points in armor or defenses, allowing the round to more ideally defeat enemy forces. The weapon utilizes a thermobaric warhead, which not only has substantially greater power, but much better after-armor effects, allowing it to severely damage the interior of vehicles or bunkers, as well as increase it's armor penetration by approximately 60%. The bomb fills the interior of the target with explosive incendiary material, which burns up the oxygen, ignites flammable materials including certain types of metals, burns sensitive components and creates a secondary blast wave, which is capable of damaging soft targets, such as engines, computers or even people. The round is particularly useful against bunkers or well defended soldiers, going in between slits of defenses, blowing up on top of soldiers in mid-air, or inside of defenses after penetrating them, using it's guidance systems to target weakpoints of enemy armor or attack the enemy forces from another less defended angle. The round has a tandem warhead, so it is capable of defeating some forms of SLAT armor, as well as small to medium sized bunkers, but is less useful against heavily armored vehicles. As the threshold or defeating tanks requires a 35 pound or more missile in weight, the round is instead optimized for medium armored vehicles and bunkers, which is does quite well at. Against soviet-era vehicles, it is particularly effective.

The weapon, due to the unique advantages of the system, overcomes the somewhat obsolete nature of man-portable rocket launchers, being both of low weight and high performance, beyond that of many other rocket launchers. It's high level of armor penetration (over 500mm (20 inches), and up to 750mm (30 inches) of RHA) combined with it's long range and guidance system, as well as the light weight, makes it viable as a weapon for soldiers in the squad. It is particularly useful for infantry when deployed on foot, although heavier anti-tank missiles are better if mounted on a vehicle. A decent medium anti-vehicle weapon, the substantial improvements over the original RPG's makes it radically different in the field, and comparable in performance to the American Carl Gustv recoilless rifle. The weapon can also fire older soviet RPG's, giving it the ability to in emergencies utilize stockpiles of older or captured ammunition.
