He wondered who would find out he was home first, sometimes they were with one another and sometimes it was one quickly followed by the other. And they always had cheerful smiles and warm voices filled with love. It made him pleased to know he was cared for so dearly. That love was given back to them both ten fold, he cared a great deal for the two lioness's and wasn't sure how he would get on if something happened to both of them, let alone one.
Ghira was the first to meet him, the dark chocolate female offering him food or water and he gave a nod as she gave him an affectionate butt of her head against his own and he thrummed a deep purr in his throat.
"I would very much like some water, thank you Ghira." Admiring the makeshift water contraption with curious eyes he took a drink of the luke warm water.
Another voice echoed through the air and he turned bright eyes towards Godiva, her head also finding it's way to bump against a part of his body.
"Not this trip, at least everything has been quiet." Truly he wasn't sure what he would do if something were to happen within the lands, of course he would defend it till his last breath, it's just that their pride rarely had anything bad happen in it so it was starting to make some of their pride members complacent.
"Are you both well? Is there anything either of you need of me? Tell me about your days." Looking between the two of them he did what he could to 'spoil' them but not to the point where they were rotten in personality. He wanted to know what they might have done while he was away for the short amount of time that he was, while he was certain their daily routines didn't have much change, it was still something he liked to hear about.
