Sometimes people have a hard time breaking from their social circles, and need a little help finding someone new to talk to. Whether you're looking for friends, or looking for that significant other, speed dating might just be your opportunity to find someone you connect with. Luckily for you, some of the teachers at the Academy have banded together to help create a safe (and supervised) environment for kids to mingle in during the Jubilee festival! They're even letting adults sign up to give them something to do while their kids are occupied!
Instructions:
- Fill out the form below for ONE of your Nightmares/Daydreams. You may only enter one kid in this event, and it must be a Junior or older.
The Speed Dating RP begins on the 8th. Past this date, as soon as you post your form you are allowed to begin participating. You must have a form posted in this thread to be eligible to win the Grand Prize Kid.
At the beginning of each week, you will be randomly paired with someone else. Whether it's a romantic match, or you just have a friendly exchange, we ask that you interact with the person you'll be matched with! We'll be doing matches 2-3 times this month to help in the case people become inactive or the RP needs to be freshened up. If your partner is not responsive, you may RP with someone else instead!
The Speed Dating thread will function like a smaller ORP, so you can earn trinkets and other prizes while RPing and tallying your points!
Rules:
- This contest is RP heavy.
You may only win the Grand Prize if you are signed up properly!
Each day you will roll a 20 sided die! MAKE SURE TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR GRAND TOTAL EACH DAY. IF YOU DO NOT YOU WILL NOT YOUR SCORES WILL NOT BE COUNTED FOR YOU. The person with the highest tally will win the prize kid!
Anyone can enter, whether they are a newbie or not!
Staff may enter this contest! BUT they may not win the major prize! Just the trinkets.
Whining, guilt-tripping, or generally misbehaving over the contest will result in you being disqualified.
