~Year 6~

It wasn’t hard going back to see the ocean just the occasional corruption or robber got in the way. But something that was hard for the young Hoshigaki was the memories that came from seeing such a vast blue ocean before him. “Damn.”. Zitsukani the lone Hoshigaki rubbed the back of his neck wearily as he stood by the cliff side by the water. He had left all that mess of the war and corruption behind him with a new goal in his heart. He needed to get stronger. He needed to become someone strong to not only stay alive in this world but to reform and raise the clan he once despised back from the ashes. Maybe despised wasn’t the right word but it was the only one the young child could come up with. He turned his back on the ocean with thoughts of the family he lost and the clan that had rejected him still fresh in his mind once again. He needed to get started. The blue haired boy put his bag down near a rock before he sat cross legged watching that beautiful shimmering blue again. Before he could do anything he needed to try and finish the Hoshigaki training and that last part was all ways something he needed to learn on his own. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the ocean hitting the rocks below him and the gentle breeze that passed through the trees behind him.

After all most 2 days of meditating and trying to increase his chakra flow Zitsu felt the chakra in his fingers build up to fast and quickly started to dial back the chakra flow. He needed to find the right amount to charge it and raise it without breaking the network in his body to pieces. Time passed even more and finally the child was starting to make process. From when he started till now there was a significant difference in chakra. Now it was denser and even slightly visible shimmering off his skin in small bursts. The Hoshigaki were known for their large amounts of chakra they were even considered the beast with no tails due to how much they possessed. And for a boy his age, with lack of experience, more chakra meant he could unleash more of the few attacks he did know. Something that could have made it all the more easier in those battles back then. When he finished Zitsu opened his eyes and took a long look at his hands. He might have even ended up with even more than most of the Hoshigaki. His mom had been a uzamaki… one of the many reasons his own clan hated him so much. When Zitsu finished he stood. There wasn’t any time to waste right now he needed to focus.

Several more days had passed. Recovery had taken a lot longer than he had expected his body was still too young, something he was growing to hate. That much chakra in a body like his took a lot longer than he had planned. But as luck would have it the young nin came prepared. After he had finished meditating he had decided to set up camp. If he was going to train and give it his all here it was more than likely he would be here for many more days’ maybe even months. Currently Zitsu half-naked and was lying in his small olive green tent looking up to the roof. The young child let out a sigh as he thought about the last thing he needed to learn Heal and Replenish a blood line technique. Something his father had been trying to help him with before everything went to s**t. One of the last things he was supposed to learn but never got from him. Zitsu got out of the tent and started to stretch his body out before he started. The gills on his arms, shoulders, and lower neck seemed to move slightly with his muscles.

Zitsu walked over to the cliff side peering over the edge of it to the ocean bellow. The only way he was going to even be able to learn any of this was down below… but it was so far… and the ocean was so big. Slowly the boys’ determination shifted to gut wrenching uncertainty, this was extremely bad idea. But before he could turn around and get away from the edge, the ground gave out. Zitsu closed his eyes and plummeted into the water bellow disappearing into the shimmering blue water. When he opened them again he was deep underwater and his arm was bleeding. He started breathing threw his gills as he looked over his injured arm. He had cut the top of his wrist. He let out a bubble from his mouth as he realized his gills were safe. But at the very least a injury like this would let him practice the bloodline technique. Zitsu swam further into the depths of the water a small blood trail being left behind. When he finally stopped he was down near a coral reef. The fish at first stayed far away from the small boy but gradually they decided to come over. Zitsu smiled and let out a small wave sending the fish scurrying away yet again. This was perfect though. The water was still rather warm and the coral was sharp so at the very least he could keep injuring his self. He needed practice and what better place than the ocean? Zitsu spread out with his head facing toward the way back up to the surface. Zitsu closed his eyes and started to draw from the chakra he had just finished tapping into the previous trainings.

It was hard at first but once he started focusing one the wound his arm started burning. It was strange the burning mixed with the feel of water. It wasn’t something he had ever really felt before… it was rather nice. A smile appeared on his lips flashing his sharp teeth slightly. He could get used to it. The wound at first didn’t do anything but leak blood but slowly the flow dimmed and then eventually stopped completely. It took more practice and energy to start and close the wound. Maybe it would have taken less time if he had stayed awake during medical parts of his mother’s trainings. But maybe it didn’t matter. It was different right? He could learn this without knowing jack about anything medical…

A hour passed and still the wound hadn’t healed he was about to give up but then he had an idea. Instead of focusing on the wound he should focus on the surrounding area and water. When he finally came to that conclusion and used his chakra almost like a fragile and thin net to drag the water into the wound. The burning sensation dimmed even more and in its place a cool circulation formed around the wound and it slowly started to heal and then finally closed. To make sure however he cut his self on the coral by dragging his palm against it and watched it heal even faster this time. Zitsu swam back up to the surface and let out a scream of satisfaction before he decided to float along the water’s surface looking up at the sky.
