This is the Journal of Xiao Shen.

Here is where she will post all of her little misadventures in the Pokemon field!

(*insert picture here* to the right, darn you!)
Name: Xiao Shen
Age: 18
Height: 5'4"
Weight: TOO much info!
Hair Color: Green~
Hair Style: Whatever works best, really.
Hair Length: Waist length
Eye color: Blue/Slate/Hazel
Skin Color: ATOMIC WHITE!
Figure: I'm chubby, lemme alone.
Poke-job: Currently studying to be a Pokemon Gourmet Cook
Hobbies: Sketching, cooking, drawing, writing, singing
Dislikes: Rude people, judgemental people, people stealing things (Namely her food. XP), the color Pink (She won't wear it. EVAR.)
Personality: Mostly she's a very shy person, but she's always ready and willing to lend a hand, or even some food to someone in need. She's always getting into trouble, too: Making messes, causing problems, she's known for it, and she constantly says she's 'cursed' for it, but, she gets over it and continues on. She doesn't dwell on things for long, such as if someone says something hurtful, more than likely she'll forget about it within the next ten minutes anyway, and all will be forgiven. She adores pokemon, but, doesn't know that much about them.
Bio: She never owned much, and she's just starting out as a trainer, seeing as her family owned a small farm outside in the country, she didn't really get to do much with other pokemon save the wild ones that would come on the farm.

Her parents owned an old Arcanine for the longest time, but, sadly, he passed away when she was eight. It was then she decided she would start trying to make food and such to help make pokemon 'feel better'. She would feed this food to the wild pokemon that would stop by on the farm, never once lifting a pokeball to them or capturing them in the least.

She found she had no real reason to do so, because they usually came back for more food later on anyway, and would tame themselves out. She had a few pokemon friends, namely some pidgy, and other types of common pokemon, but, she never fought with them, and never really gained much experience in training one. When she was ten, she decided she would become a trainer, but, alas, she was unable to do so because of the farm. She was the only help her family had, so she had to stay and work there until she was the age of an adult.

By the time she hite eighteen, she was determined to become a trainer, and, with that, would go to the small lab that was in her town, and, lo and behold, she was able to get a meowth! A lovely little green thing, really, white ears and a tail, beautiful creature. He was her first pokemon, and she called him Subei, because he was always quite literally climbing all over her to find the food she had stashed away in her pack.

Now, she travels abroud in search of trainers willing to allow her a bit of their time to test out new foods, or the effects of the food on pokemon. She would love to get into a type of medicine league with her skills, but, might just stick to making treats and foods for the critters.

First Day

Subei was currently just curled up in his trainer's lap, purring faintly as his eyes closed and he opened one eye slowly, head tilting to the side when his white ear perked, and he'd turn large blue eyes towards the shrubbery.

He could just hear something else beyond it, but, the bushes continued blocking his view from what it actually was. He huffed out one cheek, lifting himself up onto his paws he'd stretch, claws extending only for a moment as he gneaded against Xiao's leg in thanks for being a pillow.

"Don't go out too far, Subei~" she called out to the young one as he nodded his head, and, tail swaying, he'd start bounding off into the shrubs, moving his eyes about, trying to spot just where the source of the sounds were.

Ki enjoyed the air sifting through her hair. She always enjoyed flying with Enelya. She gave the giant bird a scratch on the neck before looking below. She could see various pokemon and trainers. "Let's go down there, En." Ki pointed to a place a little ways from where a trainer was with her Houndour. "I think Sunstar would like some excercise." She mentioned as Enelya landed gracefully in the little clearing. Ki hopped off carefully. "Thanks, En. Would you like to stay out? Or get some rest?"

Enelya gave a crow and Ki smiled. "Alright, but don't go too far." She chuckled as Enelya gave her an affectionate n** on the arm before taking off to go rest in a nearby tree. "Now, Sunstar, Oreo, time to come out." She took two pokeballs from her belt. Pressing the button she held them out and watched as an Absol and Ivysaur appeared. "Let's go for a walk." She gave them both a pat and started in the direction of the trainer with her houndour.

Soon enough, Subei shrugged one of his shoulders, and would turn on his paws to head back towards Xiao whom was calling out to him trying to find him at the moment.

Just as he parted through the shrubs, he spotted Ki and the others and let out a large yelp! He'd never SEEN a bird so huge! He ran off to the side, and, leapt upwards, landing in Xiao's arms and actually knocking her onto her back with a yowl.

"Subei, what's wrong, huh? You all right, hun?" she'd stroke against his ears soon enough, and spot the others, "Oh wow!" she jogged over to Ki and smiled, squatting down as Subei leapt to lay on her shoulder, much like some kind of scarf, really, "They're gorgeous! And perfect! Ah, sorry, I'm Xiao Shen.. I'm trying to become a gourmet for Pokemon.. Uhm, would it be too much trouble if I could borrow them for a sec to try out my new recipe? It's all natural, so it won't hurt them.. I just need to see if they like it.. Subei here likes anything I give him.. Don't you, kitty?" she'd scratch under the Meowth's chin and he purred in response, eyes closing and head tilting this way and that.

Kai was fed up with waiting. Lucifer had been gone for about a week now and was getting on his nerves. It only usaully only took Lucifer a few days to come back. Maybe he was lost? What ever it was, he wouldn't stand for this. With a sigh, he reached toward his belt and pulled out a small ball shaped thing. The wind played with his blue hair as his glasses fell to his nose. With a huff, he hit a button on the ball and it grew. With no effort at all, he dropped the ball on the floor. In a flash of light a small creature crawled out of the light.

"Envy, I want you to sniff out Lucifer. Hurry up or no food for a week."

Envy sighed as she adjusted her eyes to the brightness of the outside world. That's when she heard Kai's voice. So Lucifer was still gone? She only sighed as she sniffed the air, Lucifer's scent entering her. It was har to ignore all the other scents in the air. With a nudge, she ran toward Lucifer, Kai behind her.

It only took a few minutes for Kai to catch up to Lucifer. He was close to a human, and running toward her. With a sigh, he whistled to Lucifer and watched as he stopped. A smirk fell on his face as he saw more of his kind closing in.

"Damn." He muttered as he moitened for Lucifer and Envy to follow him. He ignored the humans with the cat and the bird and walked toward the person with the Houndour.

Ki turned her head at the yelp in time to see the Meowth running to his owner. "Hi." She greeted. "I'm Kiawna, but I'm most commonly called Ki. So, please call me that." She gave the other trainer a smile. "Gormet, eh? What do you two think?" She asked Sunstar and Oreo. "Do you want to try it?"

Sunstar looked at Ki before turning her head towards the new person. Curious, the Ivysaur stepped forward. "Ivy. Saur." Ki smiled. "Well, Sunstar isn't afraid of anything. What about you, Oreo?" Oreo tilted his head curiously as well. It was food. No kind of food could be bad. So, he pranced ahead happily.

"I think they both want to try it." She glanced at the other 4 occupied balls at her belt. "Are you taking a survey?" She asked Xiao Shen. "If so, I can call on my other 4. I just don't want to scare your Meowth there."

She eyed the trainer that walked by with the Growlithe and Quilava. Somehow, she got a bad vibe from him. Deciding to shrug it off, she returned her attention to Xiao.

Subei let out a faint mew at the other trainer, rubbing his head against Xiao's as the young woman continued.

"Well, yeah. I'd be happy to feed all of them. I'm studying the effects the food has on them, too. I'd love to help more than hinder, so, I'm trying to see if I can't make food that replinishes health more than makes them fat.." she giggled, scratching Meowth's ears.

"He'll be all right. Subei here's a bit of a coward in some ways, but, he's brave when he needs to be. I don't have any others with me, so he's just not used to seeing a lot of them. He's my test dummy for mose of my foods.." she squat down soon enough, rubbing her hand along the top of Sunstar's head, "My, aren't you a lovely Ivysaur! Your trainer takes good care of you!" she smiled, and would then turn towards Oreo, giggling, "So eager! ALl right, let's go back to where I'm hiking out for now.. It's got my crock pot and everything set up on a nice big blanket so everyone can relax."

She'd been so busy oggling the other pokemon, she'd not even noticed Kai walk by. Instead, she just started rubbing on Sunstar's ears, "You're so cute! Let's go then. Ki, I've got some REAL food, too, if you'd like something to eat, and some drinks, too. I stay out here for days on end sometimes.."

Ki chuckled at her pokemon's reactions. Usually, they weren't so approachable. "That would be lovely. Thank you." She gave Xiao a smile. "Your Meowth looks quite well taken care of as well." Ki walked towards the trainer, letting out a whistle as she did. After all, it would horrible if Enelya was left behind. She chuckled at Oreo's enthusiasm and gave the inside of the Absol's blade a rub. "Is it nearby? If not, I'm sure Enelya wouldn't mind taking us." As she was saying this, the Pidgeot was coming to land next to her.

Subei let out a faint mew, before jumping down, and, soon, looking up at both the big bird again, and the Absol he'd squeak and hide behind Xiao's legs.

Xiao laughed quietly, "Aww.. 'Bei-kun, don't be scared of them, they won't hurt you unless we were in battle.. And we're not, so don't get any ideas!" tsks him soon enough, and, she would turn back towards Ki once more, "Ah, well.. I suppose if it's not too much trouble. It's only about a mile and a half from here, north.." she would then point in the appropriate direction.

"I've got plenty of food, and some cooking actu--" she stopped when she realized what she'd just said, and squeaked, "OH NO! I forgot I left the crock pot on!" she palmed herself in the forehead. She would then turn towards Ki, smiling weakly, "I'm a bit absent minded, so, you'll have to forgive me.." She'd soon pick up her kitty pokemon once more, "Now, if you promise not to claw me, I won't put you in the pokeball.."

Ki grinned and looked down at her pokemon. "Sorry, guys. You both know En can't carry you. You're too big." She gave them both an apologetic smile before holding out their pokeballs. "Back inside. I'll let you out again once we get there, promise."

With great reluctance, but knowing their trainer never backed out of her promises. Sunstar and Oreo went into their pokeballs. Ki turned towards Enelya and gave her another pet. "One more trip, then I promise to let you rest. I'm sure we'll be able to walk some places." She told the Pidgeot.

Enelya crooned before bending slightly to allow the two trainers on. Ki helped Xiao up, before climbing up behind her. "Alright, Enelya. Let's go." Giving her a pat, Enelya took off. "Now, Xiao, you will have to point your campsite out to her."

Xiao climbed on carefully, muttering an apology when she got on, she'd then turn towards Ki as she was on behind her. Xiao placed her meowth in front of her, holding onto the bird with one hand, and the pokemon with the other.

"Oh!" she blinked, and would lift her other arm, leaning forwards a bit as to not fall off as she pointed her arm, "Straight ahead. Head towards the thick trees out there with the orange.. Spots..?" she blinked a bit, and shook her head, "I think the sun's getting to me.. But it's at the tree line right ahead. You can't miss it. It'll have this ugly looking purple tent.."

She sweatdropped, turning her eyes soon enough, "If I had the money, I'd get a real one that wasn't the color I hate the most, but, my granddad gave it to me, so I can't throw it away without feeling like crap.." she laughed faintly, and Subei, too, made a face.

"Yeah, Subei doesn't like it either, do ya, big guy..?" she scratched at his ears soon enough, getting used to the rhytm of the Pidgeot's wings flapping on either side of her, and the feeling of the muscles moving below her. It was strange, but, she tried not to let it get to her.

"I've never ridden on a pokemon before.. Save a Ponyta once, but, that was just because we'd rented them out at an old ranch my family dragged me to when I was three.. I'd never been so scared in my life.." she chuckled a bit, and, soon turned her eyes ahead.

Ki chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll get used to it." Enelya did her best to glide as much as possible. She could tell this new trainer wasn't used to flying. "I've only ever ridden on Enelya. I've always wondered what it was like to ride a Ponyta though. Or a Dodrio." She chuckled. "That would definitely be an interesting experiance."

For a while, she was silent. The ride didn't take long. Enelya was quick, so within ten minutes, Ki had spotted the tent and trees and pointed it out to Enelya. "Thank you, En. I really appreciate this." She once again scratched the bird and was rewarded with a happy croon before Enelya landed by the tent. Once landed, Ki slid gracefully off and waited for Xiao.

Xiao nodded slightly at Ki's words, turning her gaze about the landscape, she'd sigh, then squeak, "No wonder things look so strange! My glasses are back at camp.." she wrapped her knuckles against the top of her head.

"I've never ridden a dodrio.. But.. I know for sure I'd LOVE to ride on a Rapidash.. They really have to trust you in order for you to ride, though.. Or be really really lazy.." she laughed faintly.. And, as they landed, she'd jog to the tend, opening the flaps to let out a huge puff of silver smoke. Thank goodness it was just really steam.

She pulled the crock pot out, and the generator, taking out all the attachments. She had enough to make another small kitchen really, and, would be able to feed a large family of ivy saurs with the batch she was making.

She set out about six plates, "I hope that's enough.. Go ahead and let them out, and let them chow down!" she smiled, sitting back, she'd pull out a cooler, and take out a bottled water for herself, "Is there any preference on what you'd like? I've got some popsicles in here, too.."

Ki grabbed the pokeballs from her belt and opened them up. In a giant flash of red, 6 pokemon appeared. A Swablu, Ivysaur, Absol, Tailow, Murkrow and a Hoothoot. Since she wasn't a registered pokemon trainer at the moment, she had seven pokemon. However, she was going to get that changed. Which meant she would have to go to the limit of 6. She still didn't know who she was going to send away until she needed them.

"Well everyone. Xiao Shen here has kindly offered us to join her for lunch. So I expect you all to be on your best behaviour." Here she eyed Luthien and Kalautia. One never knew how much trouble a Hoothoot and Tailow could be. They both looked back at her innocently. They knew why she was looking at them mostly.

How were they supposed to know that Kumori was actually going to attack that Ursaring? The poor Swablu had been frightened for weeks. It took Ki a while to finally calm her down enough.

Ki turned back to Xiao. "Thanks again for inviting us." She glanced at her pokemon. "I hope you have enough. If you don't, I can supply some stuff. And whatever is fine with me." She gave Xiao a smile.

With a lot of discussion with himself, Kai had followed where the bird Pokemon was going. He road on Spiral and kept a pretty good pace, until they stopped. After that Kai followed the people's trail with Envy sniffing them out. There was no reason for him to follow them, but he had nothing better to do. After a long period of running and what not he had gotten close to his 'prey'.

"About time," he said as he reached toward his belt and pulled out two Poke-balls. With a swift movement, he returned Spiral and let the other one fall on the floor. With a puff of light, Lucifer was free once more. Kai smirked as he looked into the distance, walking toward the people. It would only be a little bit until he met up with them.

He wasn't sure what he was going to do, but he was bored. If anything he could get some free food from them. Or steal something worth even a cent.

"Now, no one attack them, we're not here for a battle."

Soon, spotting a seventh, she'd place another plate down, "Well, have at it, you guys! I won't hold manners against you, okay?" she smiled slightly, and tilted her head with a laugh, shifting to sit back as Subei climbed into her lap once more and curled up, purring faintly and nudging her hand for pettin's.

She'd hand Ki a soda soon enough, (Pick a flavor. XD), along with some small sandwhiches. She bit into one, they were a variety, no particular set food the main stay of the diet. She turned her eyes towards the young man that was approaching, and blinked faintly.

"Ah.. Hello there!" she smiled, having not noticed the boy at first, but, now that he was approaching at a simple speed, she was able to see him clear enough as she lifted her glasses and put them on. Turning her eyes then back towards the pokemon, she'd smile, "So, how is it?"

All of Ki's pokemon quickly dived into the food. It was amazing how fast they could eat. With the exception of Ran, Enelya and Sunstar, they were all half done within seconds.

Ki chuckled at them. "I think they like it." She grabbed the soda and sandwhich from Xiao. "Thank you." Ki took alternating sips and bites. "This is really good. It's been a while since I've hung out with anyone."

At Xiao's greeting to someone, she turned her head. It was the trainer from before. That feeling still hadn't left. The aura around him seemed to speak evil. Her pokemon seemed to notice it to, for they all went on guard. "Leave it, guys." She commanded, before stepping between Enelya and Sunstar. Placing a calming hand on Enelya, she apologized to the trainer. "Sorry, they aren't very welcoming to other trainers."

Kai laughed as he saw the Pokemon go on guard. So, they weren't stupid after all? It wasn't like he wanted trouble to happen today, it just followed him. Such things came to him ever since Chaos and he grew close. He couldn't remember what he used to look like. What his old hair color was . . . It was all a vision of the past that had shattered. those sandwiches looked good . . .

With a small smile he walked up to the two girls. They seemed nice enough. It didn't matter what they seemed like. In the end he would get what he wanted. Temptation to release Chaos and blow them up kept on nudging at him. That wouldn't be any fun though.

"I see. That's a large lot you got there."

Kai didn't much like to talk, it wasn't his style. His actions spoke for him. Lucifer walked behind him, his fire waving on his back. With a roll of his fingers, Kai had pulled out a bottle of water from his backpack.

"May I have a sandwich? Thanks," he said as he grabbed one from where ever the girl had gotten it from.

Xiao had been about to speak once more to Ki when she noticed the other pokemon start tensing suddenly, and she blinked her eyes a bit, jumping when a sandwhich was taken right off of her plate that she held in her hands.

Her glasses skewed a moment, and she righted them soon enough, turning her eyes upwards to Kai, she'd quirk a brow. Subei, meanwhile, was still sleeping peacefully in her lap, though, lifted to open one eye soon enough, yawning at Kai, and then seeing him to not be anything remotely close to a threat really, he would curl back up into the ball.

Xiao lowered her gaze then towards her pokemon, huffing out her cheek, "You lazy bum! Get up, Subei!" she chuckled, tickling him by poking him in his sides, making him squirm, then, finally, degectedly, he'd stretch, and sit regally in the woman's lap as though he were her trainer or something. He'd look up at Kai once more, eyes unclouded by sleep and slit them dangerously. He could smell something strange about this man, and it was unnerving.

Xiao, on the other hand, only smelled something that resembled old clothing. She leaned into her tent, yep, it was her tent. She sighed, and turned her eyes towards Kai, lifting the plate once more, unaware that he might be some kind of 'bad guy', or whatever.. She smiled, head tilting to the side, "Here, take as many as you like. I've got plenty. If you have any pokemon, I'd be happy to feed them as well?" she always was known for being a bit of a goodie goodie too often..

Alexander's Corner

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Name: Alexander
Species: Fire Horse
Alignment: Light
Nature: Flirty, but, only to those he's known for a while.
Current Level: Unknown
Current Moves: Unknown
Strengths: Ghost, Grass,
Weaknesses: Water, Earth, Fire

Day One
At the moment, Xiao was trying to get Alexander to stop catching everything on fire! The poor thing had the hiccoughs or something, and she was trying every trick in the book to get him better.

She sighed faintly, lifting some water, she'd place it in a bowl, having Alexander lean down and drink from it. She'd pat against his wither, turning her eyes about the area and sighing faintly, "Poor Alexander.." she sighed, scratching against his light green fur along his body.

Alex breighed happily, lifting his head, "What's wrong, Xi-hic-o?" he tried speaking normally, but, it was a bit interesting to watch him attempt to.. Meanwhile, Subei was napping on one of the cushions near the camp fire. Xiao, at the moment, was making more kibble style food..

Kai had made his way down a strange path. It had been a while since he was out. Envy II was out somewhere, no doubt getting fatter. Stupid thing never stopped eating. That's when the sight of fire caught his eye. Maybe it wasn't anything special, but it was something. Anything.

"HM."

With a small kick in the bum he ran toward the fire. Only to see that girl with the sandwiches from before. "Damn."

Xiao was currently trying to get Alexander to keep drinking and solve the hiccough problem when she heard something.

She lifted her head soon enough, eyes narrowing, she'd remove the steam from her glasses, and attempt to spot what was going on just beyond her line of sight. Meanwhile, Alexander breighed, and lifted his head, holding his breath for a moment, and, soon, the hiccoughs were gone.

He pranced slightly, "Xiao, I smell human.." he huffed through flared nostrils, turning his eyes towards Subei whom, again, was still napping. He snorted at the cat, breighing loudly, "WAKE UP!"

Subei leapt up, fur fluffed out to the point that he looked like nothing but a giant fuzzball as he yowled, "I'M AWAKE! I'M AWAKE!"

Kai stood there. This wasn't meant to happen. It was supposed to be a stranger. Not that he wouldn't have any problem taking everything the girl had. Not like that fire thing was a threat. It was just going to take a bit longer now that she had two. With a sigh he lifted his pack with his hand.

"Hello."

It was a simple as that. There was no need for a long sentence. There was no reason to waste words on this girl. Unless she said something worth replying to. But the chances of that happening were low. She'd just act stupid and dumb. There was no doubt about it.

Just so nothing bad happened, he placed his hand around his belt. Ready to pull the balls off.

Xiao blinked slightly, she heard someone speak that wasn't one of her pokemon. She turned her eyes soon enough, and spotted Kai.

She huffed out one cheek, "What do you want now, Kai-san..?" she stood up straight soon enough, seeing as she had no food to offer him at the moment, she wasn't going to offer to make any either.

He'd been really mean to her last time, so she wasn't about to just fork over stuff! Alexander, meanwhile, flared up slightly, eyes narrowing as he snorted out, "I don't like his scent, Xiao.. He smells funny.."

She snorted a bit to keep from laughing, hand covering her mouth she'd use the other to brush along his neck, "S-shh, Alexander. That was rude.." she giggled out, pressing her cheek against the ponyta's as he nuzzled his nose into her neck for treats.

Subei's tail swayed slightly, curling around his paws as he sat down, and glowered at Kai.

Kai didn't have time to watch this girl laugh. He could really care less what people thought of him. They could think he was nice and he would just use that to his advantage. But something always bugged him.

How did everyone know he was evil? It's not like he told anybody. They just always knew. It wasn't normal. Maybe he just looked evil? Well he was, but that didn't matter. His right red eye shut as he grabbed two balls on his belt. In a second they fell to the floor and opened up.

Chaos and Lucifer blinked as they were set free. Chaos knew why he was, but why Lucifer? There was no need for him to be out. Such a waste really.

Lucifer sat himself on the ground. This wasn't going to take to long, hopefully. If it did, he was going to be irritated. Food was what he wanted.

Kai smiled as he opened his eye. "What ever you have is what I want."

(Sorry about taking so long!!)

Xiao blinked as Kai seemed to be a bit miffed. She sweatdropped, and, soon enough, there were two more pokemon out. One being the one that had wanted to harm Subei the first time, the other being one of the slightly more boring ones.

Alexander snorted, brow knitting as he pawed at the ground, and, soon, moved to start in a charge, only to be stopped as Xiao stood in front of both of them.

Subei had his claws outstretched, too, about ready to attack.. But Xiao was in the way, "Xiao, move!"

"I will not! You will not hurt them!" her brow was knit, and Alexander pushed forwards against her shoulder, "Xiao, please move! They'll hurt you!" the ponyta breighed out, finally pushing past her and standing in front. Subei leapt atop her head, and grinned, "Don't worry, we'll protect you! It's our job, after all!"

Xiao stared, and shook her head, "No no no! You guys aren't strong enough! I don't have anything you want ANYWAY, Kai. Unless you LIKE eating pokemon food. I don't have any money, and you're NOT taking my cooking supplies, so piss off!" her glasses scewed as she moved forwards, lifting her rolling pin and swinging it about menacingly, "If you harm me I'll have the police on your a** so fast you won't have time to BREATHE!"

Rule one. Never threaten Xiao.

Rule two. Never threaten Xiao when she has a rolling pin. She was about ready to throw it.

Kai laughed as he looked at the girl. She was really stupid. It would have been smart to let her Pokemon attack. At least then she could run away. It wasn't that he wanted all the stuff, it was more the fact that he liked the challenge.

It had been far to long since he had fought anyone. It was sad really. This wouldn't be to much of a challenge. In about a few minutes the girl would be on the floor, along with her Pokemon.

The police? Was she joking? That didn't scare him one bit. They were a weak bunch of old people that liked donuts a bit to much. How were they a threat?

He sighed as he put his hand inside of his left sweater pocket. With a quick nudge he grabbed a hold of his knife. If she threw that thing, he'd throw his thing. A knife would hurt a whole lot more. Besides, Lucifer could just burn it.

"Are you stupid? I could care less if you call the police. And don't think that cooking tool scares me. Maybe I will take your cooking supplies. I don't have any and I could learn how to cook. I could use the Pokemon food, seeing as I don't have any for my Pokemon. Now. I suggest you let your Pokemon attack. Or this will be really boring. I don't like it when things are boring. I don't feel like killing anybody today, for you see, it takes to long to dispose of the body. You could just start running. Or you can give me everything you have. What ever you wish."

He grasped his knife harder, laughing.

Xiao's eyes narrowed. He did NOT just call her stupid..

Her grip tightened about the pin, and, soon enough, she'd step back, and place it down.. She moved towards the edge of the table soon enough, eyes half lidded, as though she was uninterested in the entire thing..

She continued moving about and, soon, lifted up something. A large something. A butcher's knife..

What kind of idiot threatened someone that was a cook? She turned her eyes then towards the other, "I suggest you leave. I'm known for killer aim, and, seeing as that knife would probably only injur, this could probably kill."

Alexander stared a moment, then snorted, "Xiao, we're here for a reason! Let us do our job!"

"No! If you get killed, I'll have nothing left!" she hissed out, and turned her gaze then towards the other, "I refuse to battle, I am at a grave disadvantage. You are a complete coward! And I doubt you could learn how to use ANY of my things. Your pokemon could STARVE for all I care at this point. I didn't set up camp here to be bullied around by a some idiotic brat that thinks he can just take whatever he wants because he's got powerful pokemon. I don't think so. Go away!" she then lifted her hand, and waved it, actually shoo'ing at Kai, "Shoo shoo! Be gone!"

She wasn't even threatened by the fact he'd just stated he could kill her. She turned to Subei and Alexander, and would whistle shrilly. The pokemon both winced, and moved over to her side. Subei sat down on his cushion, and Alexander blew a faint gust of fire into the fire, keeping it alive for now..

Kai laughed again as he reached toward the two balls on the floor. So? He was a coward? He only depended on the power of his Pokemon? Was that what she thought? Oh, she was wrong. He returned Chaos and Lucifer.

With a sigh he grabbed his belt and removed it. With out much effort he threw it behind him. It skidded across the floor. It was far now and would be hard to reach. This wasn't about stealing things anymore.

"That knife does not scare me. Go ahead and throw it. I'd rather enjoy it. I haven't bled in a while now. And don't go thinking I'm weak and depend on my Pokemon. Sure, they help, but really now. I can kill you without them. Shoo is it? No. I refuse to. Not until you are ready to admit I am not who you think I am."

He sighed as he waited. Waiting for what the girl would do. Would she throw it? Would she run? It didn't matter one bit.

Xiao quirked a brow at him for a moment, shaking her head she'd laugh quietly, "You're either a bigger idiot than I thought, or you're insane."

She placed the knife down, and folded her arms across her chest, "What is it you want to proove? And what does it matter? I'm just a cook, what should my opinion mean to you?"

She grinned slightly, tilting her head to the side, she'd right her glasses. Alexander huffed out through his nostrils, about to say something, but, she lifted her hand and silenced him. She shifted to walk around the table, arms swinging at her sides as she moved forwards, and stood right in front of him.

"And you are a coward. You can't always have what you want. You can't always have your way. And just because you're hungry, doesn't mean you have to take food. Just because you're tired, doesn't mean you have to hurt someone to get it.." She didn't know why she was lecturing this idiot, but, for some reason, she had an idea that he REALLY wasn't all big and bad as he tried to huff himself out to be.

She would then shrug, and move away, walking towards the table, "And what are you trying to proove anyway..?" she quirked a brow at him, "I still think you're being a jerk, and beating up a girl isn't going to change my opinion. I never said you were weak. I said you were a brat. There's a difference."

Kai didn't really know what was happening. This was all so different then what usually happened. He didn't much like it. But that didn't mean he had to listen to it. What was he trying to prove...?

That was a question he didn't have an answer to. For some reason he always just did this. It was what he had become. It wasn't bad or anything . . . It was just his life now.

"I don't know what I'm trying to prove. I don't think I'm trying to prove anything. You don't think I know that? Of course I don't always get what I want. I still don't have many things I tried to get. Don't just assume that I think I can get what ever I want. Of course it doesn't mean I don't have to take food. I just do. It's what I've always done. I have no money. I can't buy things. I have no friends to feed me. I have nothing to get food. So I just take it."

He paused for a moment to breathe. Why was he still willing to talk? About now he was confused.

"I am indeed a jerk. I like being one. That do--"

He was interrupted as Envy II came walking along. Envy II paused for a moment, then jumped on Kai's head. He started to purr as he fell asleep.

Kai sighed as he petted Envy II on the head and turned back to the girl.

What was he doing here again?

She started to giggle at first.. Then, as the lecture went on, she started laughing, "Oh my god!"

She chuckled, holding her stomach as she hunched forwards, giggling to herself soon enough, "You.. Are such a nutbar!" and with that, she'd stand up straight.

She moved into the tent, shuffling about, she'd take out her knap-sack, digging through, she'd pick out as much human food as she could find, and, soon place it in her spare bag.

Soon enough, she'd move forwards, and hold out the bag to him, "Did it ever occur to you to ask..? Instead of just taking..? If you don't have any friends, stealing stuff from them isn't going to gain you any.."

Subei lifted a paw, and swatted himself in the face, resting it there he'd groan, "Why did we have to have such an idiot for a master..?" he muttered towards Alexander. The ponyta was staring, slack-jawed as the woman gave him as much food as she possibly could, "I.. Don't know. I'm new, remember..?"

She stood there, holding the sack out, "If you'd just ask for food, I'd give it to you. If you need money, I'll do what I can.. But if you come in here all huff and puff and 'gimme all your stuff, rawr~', do you REALLY think I'm going to take you seriously and let you TAKE everything that I've spent my entire life to get..? Do you think people GAVE my stuff to me..? I had to earn it.. I had to sell all of my most precious things to get what I have, and.. It was worth it. Because now I can help pokemon and people.."

She stopped for a moment, "Or, at least the people that want help.." and about this point and time, she noticed the Eevee and blinked, smiling slightly, "Hito kawaii~" she chuckled.

Kai refused to take the food. He'd never take it,. Not willingly. It just . . . He didn't know why. He'd get it himself and on his own way. This girl wasn't going to change him. all she did was make him a bit ticked off.

" I have asked before. I asked a lot of people before. And you know what they did? They laughed in my face. They acted like I was some pathetic poor bagger who had no life."

This girl didn't need to know about him, but oh well.

"The method I attempted to use works most of the time. sure, most of the people try to preach to me like you. Saying how I shouldn't do it. But I could care less. You don't understand me. And calling me a . . . Nut bar was it? Doesn't help."

"I think it's nice and dandy you earned your things. But for me, I can't earn things. I've tried before. I've tried for twelve years. It just doesn't work. It makes me less depressed when I take what other people have earned."

"Then try harder.." was all Xiao said, and she'd shoulder the pack, "And your loss.."

She turned around, and moved forwards, resting the satchel beside her, she'd tug out a sandwhich, biting into it, "You're missing out, though.. Really good food in here.. Got some sweets, sandwhiches, granola bars.. There's some spaghetti in here, and fettucini alfreado with chicken.." she was digging through it, "Oo! I forgot I had a chocolate bar!" she grinned to herself, and would soon take a piece out, resting it on the table beside her, she'd break it in half, offering the other to Kai.

"I don't want to change you. Nor do I WANT to preach to you. Sorry about that, I tend to open mouth and insert foot sometimes.. But.. I just feel so sorry for you.. If it makes you feel any better, I won't say anything anymore. But since you won't take a peace offering, you're not getting anything."

She stuck out her tongue at him, and then proceeded cooking. She knew that he wouldn't do anything more at this point except huff. Men were like that most of the time. She chuckled to herself, taking the rolling pin she'd used as a weapon not moments before, and began flattening out some biscuit dough.

Kai was just about ready to huff and leave. But . . . He was really hungry. And well . . . But staying wouldn't help anything. If he'd stay it would mess things up. His life was content right now and there was no reason to act nice about it.

But the food.

"So . . . Envy II . . . What do you think?" He asked as he poked the Eevee on his head. The Eevee rolled a bit the peeked open a eye. Why was he being asked? With a huff he nodded a bit, then went back to sleep.

Kai rolled his eyes as he petted the green Pokemon again. Asking for something wasn't a good way to be noticed. Food though. The sweet smell of discovery and pleasant things. This as no good.

"I am going to leave, before I start bagging for food. But if you don't mind, could you p-p-p-pl-pl-ple-pleea-- . . . Feed my Eevee?"

He sighed as he pulled Envy II off of his head.

(*dies at the stuttering* Aww! That was so cute!

Xiao: GOOD JOB! *pats Kai's back*)

Xiao lifted her eyes slightly as she heard the other ask his pokemon on what he should do. She chuckled to herself once more, nibbling on her piece of chocolate once more.

She then turned her eyes towards him once he approached, and, her brow quirked as he started stammering.. For quite a while, actually.. She finally realized what he was trying to say, piecing it together.

"You don't have to beg.. I'm not a b***h, you know.." she smiled softly, and, spotting the Eevee once more, she'd smile, leaning forwards, "And just what would you like to eat? Your stubborn trainer's too proud to ask for something, so I'll just have to stuff you instead.." she made a playful face, and would straighten.

Subei sweatdropped, moving to curl about her legs, and soon leap up onto the counter, turning towards Kai and letting his eyes slit dangerously. He still didn't trust him, and he was making it known. At least until he was bopped on the back of the head by his trainer with a wooden spoon.

"Would you like enough to feed all of your pokemon? And you might want to pick up your belt, too, before you forget about it.." she motioned her head towards the tossed accessory, and would continue stirring the kibble in the crock pot, and, soon enough, she'd use a ladle and begin putting it in a bowl.

"You'll have to keep that.. Chaos one away, though. I don't want him trying to destroy my only home.." she waved her spoon slightly at Kai, actually poking him in the chest with it as though to emphasize her point.

Alexander moved forwards, taking the pack in his teeth, he'd turn towards Kai a moment, as though contemplating or not, and would move forwards towards the tent, placing the bag inside once more and then moving to rest on the ground by the fire, knees bent and curled under his lithe body.

Kai sighed as he was poked with the spoon. Why did she have to do that? Wasn't telling him enough? This talking was starting to irritate him. He wasn't much for the happy moment things.

"You a b***h . . .? Never," he said with a large amount of sarcasm. Not that he wanted to be rude . . . Not that he didn't. It was all very confusing and didn't make to much sense.

" No. Envy II is the only one who is hungry. Lucifer might be . . . But he's always hungry. I'll leave my Eevee here, and he'll leave when he feels ready to. No trying to steal him though. If you do try, even if it may be cowardly, I will use force to bring him back, got it?"

There was still no smile on his face as he picked up his belt. Everything looked fine. With a huff he walked back to the girl.

"Don't worry. Chaos won't be out for a while. But of course, he does bang his way out of his ball when he feels like it."

With that, he walked off.

"Envy II likes sour things!" He yelled as he walked.

Xiao watched him go about for a moment, chuckling slightly she'd shake her head, and turn back towards Evee, "How about some lemon spritzed fish, then..? Or would you preffer some candy, ne..?"

She lifted her hand, patting the young poke's head, and soon moving towards the small fridge located near the cart. She'd open it up, and take out some treats.

At the pokebelt being handed to her, she blinked at it, and then lifted her eyes towards the one as he walked away. She lowered her brow slightly, "I don't steal pokemon. If I want a pokemon, I'll catch one myself.." she stuck out her tongue at him, huffing her cheek out, then, hearing Alexander snickering, she huffed at him, too.

She started portioning out some food soon enough, eyes half lidded as she began to humm to herself. She would then look to the others, spotting the black ball, she steered clear of it, letting the others out.

"Now, you all are going to play nice or no food, okay?" she smiled slightly, and placed the large plates on the ground for them to be able to reach. Meanwhile, she fed her own pokemon, finishing off the last of her sandwhich soon enough.

[[ -CONFUSED.- He handed her th belt..? Wha--- -Goes with it, 'cause he likes it.-]]

Envy II blinked a few times. He was very happy being asleep on Kai's head. But why did he insist on feeding him? He would eat when he was ready. That's when his eyes fell on the food. It looked odd, some kind of underwater thing. It smelt good, but . . . Yeah. He was ready to eat. He smiled as he started to eat, making sure to try and not leave a mess.

Lucifer sat on the floor, looking at the food. He was hungry, but didn't eat.

Spiral dug into the food and made sure to make a great big mess for someone to clean up.

Envy just went around, jumping on things.

Gomennasai! I read it wrong I guess, I assumed he'd given her the belt! *dies*)

Xiao would watch the others, spotting Spiral making a huge mess, she'd laugh, "You do realize that, the more of a mess you make, the less food you get.."

She shook her head faintly, chuckling as she moved towards Alexander, and stroked along his nose. He let out a soft neigh of sorts, nuzzling his snout into her hand and licking her palm.

Subei, meanwhile, hopped over to her and sat down, watching Envy and glowering a bit, he'd then turn towards the others, making a slight face. He watched Lucifer sit there, and quirked a brow, moving forwards, he'd lift a paw to swat at the plate. He was testing to see if he was being fickle and rebellious, or if he was just not hungry at the moment..

Xiao blinked, and huffed, "Subei! Leave them alone or you're going to get hurt!"

Subei jumped up in surprise, almost landing in the bowl, he'd rush over towards Alex, hiding behind him once more and glowering at Xiao over the horse's back..

Spiral just sat there, not caring if he made a mess. As long as he made one. He wasn't to hungry, so making a mess didn't mean much.

Bob had made her way to Alexander and rolled to his foot. She looked at him, then blinked a few times. Why did he have feet . . .?

Lucifer opened his eye and sighed. What was the cat doing? It wasn't that he was going to eat it, but it didn't have to be rude.

"Little one, why did you do that? That was food that your trainer made that you almost wasted."

Envy II had finished his meal and jumped on Xiao's head.

Subei stayed behind Alexander, even as Lucifer spoke, he'd blink and look towards the large pokemon, sweatdropping slightly, "I was just seeing if you were actually going to eat it or something.. You could show some courtesy, you know. Xiao makes food for all pokemon.. You don't have to just sit there. If you don't want it, tell her.."

Xiao sweatdropped, "I'm.. Right here, Subei.." she chuckled, and, squeaked when EnvyII jumped onto the top of her head. She blinked, tilting her eyes up, she'd spot the green blurb without her glasses, "Comfy then, hun..?"

She'd smile, and, spotting that Spiral was making a mess for the heck of it, she'd sigh, and move forwards, taking the plate, "I'll just leave the.. Uh.. Food, for you if you get hungry later.." she chuckled, shaking her head as she began washing the dishes in a bin, "Are you others not hungry..? I'm sorry, I was just trying to help out your trainer.. He's so.. I dunno, sad.. Seems like he doesn't have all that many friends, and he's just so.. Rude.." she sweatdropped, and would start placing the plates back into the small box she had for them.

Alexander snorted slightly, and turned his eyes then towards Bob as she pressed against his hoof. He was currently resting on his legs, so this would mean she was at his belly. He turned his head, and sweatdropped, "Can I help you..?"

Envy II smiled as he looked at the girl. She seemed nice enough. She was just about as nice as his trainer, but Kai was much kinder and better. With a little cough he rolled on her head, then closed his eyes. Sleep sounded so inviting right now. And the girl's head was ever so warm. A nice place to take a quick nap until everyone was ready to leave. That wouldn't be to long.

Lucifer sighed as he stood up, looking at the cat thing. Why did it still feel the need to go on? Why couldn't it just shut up? Why couldn't anyone remind him of his Solitude?[RANDOMNESS.] That was it. He was in mainly in a depression from seeing his 'friend; for so long.

"I was going to have some, to be poliet, but you messed up my chance. And tell your trainer that Kai . . . He has issues that are hard to understand. It seems that he is extremely nice to Envy II, but I don't really know why."

Bob sighed as she looked at the legs some more. Why wasn't she so lucky? Would she ever have legs . . .? She doubted it. "I was just admiring your legs, for you see, I have none. How is it? To be able to walk as you wish?"

Xiao blinked slightly, sweatdropping once more, "Uhm.. Lucifer, right..? I'm right here.. Don't tell Subei to tell me something if I'm standing right beside you.."

She smiled slightly, "And I understand that Kai-san might have issues.. But he just.. I don't like people like that. We'd have people ransack the farm a lot when I was young.. It's just a pet peeve of mine.. He acts like a big bully!"

She huffed out her cheek, "I don't care if it's a 'guy thing' to act all macho and bad and stuff.. People.. If he NEEDS and WANTS like I do, what makes him different from anyone else..?" she shrugged, and turned around, "I don't want to hear about it anymore.. He doesn't want me to understand him, nor does he want to be my friend. Unless he wants me to know about it, I don't want to hear about it.. Not to be mean or anything, but, that's just how I think.."

With that, she made another, smaller plate, "Here, if you're not really hungry, just say so.. Okay..? Don't worry about being polite to me, I don't want you to force yourself to eat anything you don't want to.."

She lifted her eyes then towards EnvyII once more, chuckling, "So cute!" she lifted her hand, scratching along the creature's chin slightly, and moving to sit back beside Subei and Alexander on the ground, leaning against the fire horse and lifting her arm to allow Subei to crawl into her lap.

She looked at Bob soon enough as Alexander coughed and explained, "Ah, well, I suppose it's nice.. I can't go near water though, due to the.. Well.." he shook his head, causing his mane to flicker, "But, I suppose not having legs wouldn't be so bad, either.. I mean, for a water pokemon, it would be a hinderence, really, when swimming, right..?"

Lucifer blinked. What had just happened? This wasn't right. Since when could humans . . .? "I'm a bit confused. How is it that you can understand us? Humans can't understand us. It's just not right. I've tried communicating with many humans, but it just didn't work. Only psychic Pokemon can communicate . . ."

Bob sighed as she rolled a round a bit. "I guess, but . . . I would want some legs."

Subei would curl up a bit more into Xiao's lap, turning his eyes towards Lucifer, he'd grin a bit, "Xiao's not like any other trainer.."

He murred faintly, tilting his head upwards and watching his trainer as she yawned, still trailing her hand down Alexander's flank, "She's taken care of me.. And.. I'm not that easy to get along with.."

He smiled faintly, and pat his paws against her knee, "She's a cook, and she's been around pokemon all of her life.. She just kinda picked up on the language, I guess.."

Xiao blinked faintly, turning towards Lucifer she'd smile slightly, "Well, he's partially right.. There was a rouge Raichu that hung out around the farm a lot.. My dad had set up traps to keep out any meat eating pokemon to keep them from attacking the Mareeps that he raised.."

She lifted her hand, resting it against Subei's ears, "I managed to get him out and he shocked me really bad.. It was to the point that I couldn't feel my arms.. Paralisis.." she shrugged her shoulder, "And in doing so, the doctor's said that the shock actually fried a bit of my brain, and, in turn, made me capable of understanding Pokemon.. But only if I come into contact with them. I can't just automatically pick up on it.." she nodded her head, "It's strange, I know.."

Alexander merely watched Bob, lowering his nose, he'd actually start moving her around, like one would a small ball, breighing out in faint laughter, "But you're so cute like this.. I don't see why you would want to change what you are. You'll evolve soon enough.."

" I see," Lucifer said as he walked toward Envy and picked him and and nudged Spiral awake. " I would like to hear more of this, but now, we must take or leave." With a small smile he grabbed the belt and balls and started to walk off. There was something that told him to go back early. He didn't know what, but it was something.

Envy II sighed as he saw everyone start to leave. Why did he have to get up again? He sighed as he jumped off of the head and onto Spiral's back. He waved as he was carried off. So much action today.

Bob nodded as she started to roll off. "But . . . I don't know if I'll grow legs."
