XXXXXDr. Burberry is what one would call, "Painfully stoic." Her disposition is eerily calm, and her voice usually sounds apathetic, bored, and aloof. Rumors say that she is a diagnosed sociopath, while other gossipers make the correction that, "She probably has the tendencies of one." As the rumors hold-up, Burberry has a difficult time processing the emotions of others, let alone her own emotions. Her lack of empathy tends to get her in trouble, as she will say things out of an utter lack of tact, offending those who did not ask for such candidness. Her tendencies appear to show through her actions as well, and although she tends to think before acting, most of Burberry's motives are generally selfish. There are a few people who may win the compassion of Burberry, but her kindness is very limited, and the word "compassion" should be used very loosely. Burberry will look after the necessities of her companions, and satiate their shallow desires in the form of monetary gifts, expensive incentives, and basic human needs such as food and a home. Unfortunately, her friends are not free from her harsh criticism; in fact, Burberry appears to be more candid when approaching her loved ones, as that is the way she was raised. It is hard to tell if Burberry is a sincerely kind person plagued with severe social inept, or she she is truly a heartless person. Based on her interpersonal relationships, Burberry does have the capability to understand the physical needs of a person, but comes short when emotional support is required. Whether or not it is a good or bad thing, does not matter. In fact, according to Burberry, there is no right or wrong, as it is entirely subjective to the individual in question. To her, such a topic is unnecessary; actually, Burberry loves to emphasize the irrelevance of life itself, not just morality. To her, nothing in life matters, and we will all die and become compost for the worms. This is one of the biggest motivators to her atheistic dogma. Only science can explain the meaning of life, "For it is with science we are born, and with science we die..."

There was nothing particularly "interesting" about my past. I simply conducted myself according to the societal expectations of a Tuffle: I was highly educated, the child to respected scientists, and lived a childhood free of needless violence. In fact, I had exceeded what was expected of me, but could not bring myself to lavish in the praise, it felt so artificial to me. While the admiration from other Tuffles was flattering, I was more concerned with winning the approval of my parents- a very difficult task. My parents were more prepared at scolding my imperfections rather than congratulating my accolades. I could never please them, no matter how hard I tried. Their constant inadequacy led to my pursuit for greatness: I had graduated one of the finest universities in the universe by age 17, I resolved the galaxy's energy crisis by 22, and I had conquered the secrets hidden within black holes by 25. Regardless of the weight of my accomplishments, my parents always found a fault, no matter how trivial it may be. My parents, I'm sorry, "The Doctors," were masters of making the tiniest things into something truly monstrous. I had, at one point, accused them of jealousy. And if they were jealous, as I am sure they were, how would I resolve it? I pondered over this for years and to date, I lacked the empathy, a product of childhood neglect and deliberate isolation, to understand why. Shouldn't a parent raise a child to be better than them? Despite the brief years of heartbreak their neglect and candidness have caused, there were some "benefits:" With time, I was able to lock away my emotions, which I'm sure would have hindered my intellectual growth. You see, it was easier to feign apathy than to act like you truly cared, it shatters your oppressors' egos.
