Ok, I don't mind being the centre of attention... unless its negative attention! People hate me because I get boys attention alot easer than themselves, my counsiler says they are jealous but I know its my fault, so anyway what are your veiws of attention?

I get more attention than I deserve, being partially outgoing. The attention from friends is positive, and it is nice (but it leaves me feeling guilty), but attention from people I don't know is usually negative and leaves me questioning myself.
I am happiest when I get the full attention from one person and they receive mine exclusively. In this sense, I'm a bit introverted. If everyone liked me, I would get scared and insecure, because I've never wanted to be popular.

There's nothing wrong with attention but too much of it is never good. It's ok to be friendly and outgoing but be sure to not make a spectacle of yourself.

It's not your fault if your chums are unattractive, is it now?

i don't get attention unless i want it. if i am not in the mood to be talked to i say so. and you know what i found? my true friends understand and don't hassle me about it. that's the way i look at it any ways.

Well, it may truly depend on how you, yourself treat those around you. Say your friends of which the councelor says are likely to be jealous of you... do you, yourself give them any reason to be by maybe the manner you carry yourself or anything you might say upon receiving attention that they themselves may want? In truth, the problem could be just in the matter that they want the attention and are jealous, but it could also be a simple matter of attitude.
