Personality: Oswald, ir Oz, has a very friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality, and is almost always seen fooling around, smiling, making bad jokes, teasing friends, and hitting on girls. He is shown to care deeply for his friends, having to act as a sort of big brother to his friends, going to great lengths to protect those who are close to him. Back then, it is revealed that Oz's enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky demeanor is actually a mask of his true, much less secure self. He appears to agonize over major choices much more than any other's, although he falls short of being paralyzed by his fears, still being able to make important decisions when necessary. He also demonstrates a feeling of responsibility for those close to him, taking attacks on his friends very personally. Despite appearing carefree, his experience as leader of his old group makes him painfully aware of the realities of life, and his greatest fear appears to be allowing himself or his friends to "cross over to the dark side," and become sadistic and manipulative like he was against other shady organizations who would attack his friends and family. Thus, Oz preferring that they stay completely away from the turf wars that was problematic even to the point of being ignorant of them.

Biography: Living as an orphan was the only thing that Oswald could remember when he was young. Nuns would take care of him, as he would help them in cleaning and helping take care of the other children, while at the same time causing mischief and trouble behind their backs when they weren't looking. That was the usual childhood that Oswald would have with those the same age as him, when sneaking outside to their home town. There, it was like a godless land. Crime rates were through the roof, governmental corruption was the norm, and various thugs and gangs would prowl the streets looking for people to extort. Yet for Oswald, he wanted to not only do something about it, but to take control of that life and throw it away. It wasn't long before a shady man would then come into the orphanage, and after who knows what happened with the talk between that man and the priest who owned the orphanage, but next thing he knew was that Oswald was now adopted to the leader of an underground mafia organization. Oswald had known, but he knew that he needed to be tough to survive, and would begin studying all of what he could. Martial arts, self defense, even as far as to delving in mystical arts, in order to prove his worth to the group. It was this, that caused him to have a dark outlook on life, where people were but pawns in his chess board. The other rivaled gangs and thugs were just enemies on the other side of the chess board, who were just a means to an end. Everyone, even the members of his own mafia family was seen this way in Oswald's eyes. In that time, Oswald as well as the leader would lead a new way into his hometown, taking out all the crime in the city by either ordering the death of many rivaled gang and mafia members, as well as even the government themselves, going as far as to killing and banishing them from the town. The city was safe, and was a normal place to live. Only thing is, it wouldn't take long until Oswald's family became as corrupt as the original government. Assassinations were carried out, raids and even as far as urban turf wars were started between factions within the mafia family. Oswald was involved in one, before even the leader himself had taken Oswald away from the town, and left him on a boat away from town. The last thing Oswald saw, was the very members that the leader called his family would then shoot him down and kill him in cold blood right in front of Oswald. That caused him to change his outlook, almost to the point of borderline dementia, where he would grow a second personality, of on which is oblivious to most of the bad things happening and would act like nothing is bothering him. In reality, Oswald was emotionally scarred from seeing his own father figure die in front of him, to the point where he found an unhealthy way to cope, as he reached the new city of Fantaisie.
