The sun was starting to rise, and Pumpkin Spice was already bouncing around the train cart that he was riding upon. The conductor didn't really seem to mind seeing a foal travelling a distance on their own. He was told rumors about Moonlight Fields and how the flowers glowed in the nighttime. Pumpkin Spice was definitely going to stay here until that then!

Soon enough, the train pulled into the stop for Moonlight Fields, and the foal hopped off, thanking the conductor for the ride. He was taught to thank everyone who did a favor for him.

Greeted by the barely rising sun, Pumpkin Spice felt a bit warm and decided to go exploring! What he would find, he did not know, but he did like adventures and finding new things! Maybe he would be able to bring a flower home with him to take care of! Or maybe he'd find a tunnel in the fields. Or something.

Enthused with his imagination, the foal began his journey, starting to the left of the station.

Sunny Skies wasn't into winter that much, but with the charm he had gotten from the festival, he was at least able to stand it! Or at least he didn't feel as cold! He had asked his parents if he could go to the Moonlight Fields for the day, and his parents figured that he couldn't get too lost or hurt going there, and so they gave him their permission and he was able to board the train.

They arrived soon enough, and the sun was shining, but the field was still covered in a ton of snow! Sunny wasn't too happy about it, but since he had his charm on, he wouldn't be bothered by the cold! He noticed though, as he took a step towards the fields, that there seemed to be something... moving?

For a moment he panicked and thought it was a predator, but saw a flash of orange and green and didn't know of anyone with those colors that could hurt him. It must be some other pony in there!

He excitedly ran into the field, not really sure where the other pony was, and ran at full speed until he managed to run into something, he and the something both tumbling down! Sunny groaned as he tried to get up. "Shouldn't have been running, sorry." He said, mumbling the first part but getting louder at the end so the other... something could hear him.

Pumpkin Spice was busy investigating some dirt trails, finding ants, only to be hit and somehow rolling down a bit. The foal gave out a small squeal in surprise, and tried hopping onto his hooves to get up. However, some pony was in front of him. And he was apologizing to him? Pumpkin Spice smiled.

"Umm... that's okay!" he said, straightening himself up. The pony was a nice mixture of blues and yellows. It was different than his own color palettes, meaning he obviously was not seeing a double of himself. "I was too busy looking at ants, but I'm okay. Are you okay?" Pumpkin Spice gave the pony a sniff, just to make sure, only to be tickled by the poofiness of the bangs. He backed up and gave his nose a small wrinkle, trying not to sneeze.

"Why were you running so fast? You must be practicing to race lighting or something! Or maybe you were chasing the train?" Pumpkin Spice then widened his eyes in horror. "Wait! It already left. You just missed it."

Sunny's head still kind of hurt but at least the other... thing that he had run into had said it was okay! Sunny managed to open his eyes up and see... another foal! Hooray! A potential friend! And the other one looked cool too! Like he had socks on or something! Sunny didn't even noticed the sniff, his mane was something his parents had given up on long ago.

Oh right! The question! "Well I saw something moving and I thought it was a pony so I wanted to find it but I didn't know where it was and I figured that running would help because I would be able to catch up with them quicker!" Well really, he had just been super excited, and he probably had a bit too much energy to work off.

He tilted his head at the other. "Train? No I just got off it! So don't worry!" Sunny said, laughing a bit and patting Pumpkin Spice a bit. "I'm Sunny Skies by the way! What's your name?" He was curious as to what the other was called.

Pumpkin Spice was now curious at the idea of another pony nearby. The foal started to bounce around the stranger, making a declaration. "Should we go find this pony? Maybe they'll want to play with us!" Pumpkin Spice was all about making friends, especially since he liked everyone that he met. He was just a very cherry and optimistic foal.

Hearing the stranger's laugh, Spice couldn't help but to laugh to. Laughter was something that Spice loved, and if the stranger liked it too, the world was a much better place to laugh in! Sunny Skies. That matched the foal! "Hi Sunny Skies! I'm Pumpkin Spice!" he trumpeted. He wondered if Sunny Skies was going to stay here long. They could find the pony and then maybe if the three stayed here long enough, they could watch the glowing field together!

"Now where did you see this pony go?" They were going to do a big detective case of pony hunting!
