There is an option under account settings to remove your avatar favorite from public spaces, which means that other gaians can favorite your avatar, but nobody else may see your avatar.

We released a fix last week for this specific issue, if your account is still not reporting the right number of days, please send a PM to Lanzer and we can look into what is causing the issue.

will gaia be fixing the flash spaces that been breaking lately and the 500 error bad get away is still persisting on market place
We're working on getting rid of the 50x errors with a new server build. For the time being we shouldn't be seeing any more of those errors.
Meanwhile, we will work hard to get all the flash spaces back, though Towns 1 is having more trouble than we anticipated

Towns 1 is having a problem that might be related to the version of the swf compiler for the avatar system. It might take some time for us to figure out the root cause. For now please use Towns 2 until we have things figured out.

I didn't know about this issue. There shouldn't be anything that would change the item order... though there could be javascript related issues that could cause problems... I'll keep an eye out and see if the problem is wide spread. For now I could only suggest restarting your browser to ensure that the problem is not related to Javascript on the browser side.

Hey, odd question, but it's plagued me in my roughly fifteen years on Gaia...
In the Avatar customization menu, why are socks counted as Bottoms instead of Shoes? confused
I mean, socks go on the feet, same as shoes... If it's because they tend to go up to the knees, wouldn't boots go under Bottoms too since they cover the same amount of skin?
It's... just a categorization choice that's always baffled me and messed with my OCD, as silly as that sounds. XD

That is a really, really old decision that we came across back then. I think it's mainly because there were stockings that exist in similar layers as pants. We had to decide one way or another and it felt like it'll not make sense to people no matter what. sweatdrop

Thanks for the recommendation. Codemonkey used Phaser and had good progress with Towns 3 but if we need anything 3D related babylon looks like a good tool for that.

I waited for like exactly 10 seconds and tried even waiting a minute to click the gifts in the Barton tree but this message keeps popping out "Don't shred all your presents at once. Wait 10 seconds or so between each one." This glitch has wasted nearly a week of opening gifts for me. Please fix it! Thanks heart

last week someone asked for the RIGs to be updated in LK
and lanzer responded with basically, that there isnt enough time or resources for the artists to put forth the effort to do it.
however i believe the user wasnt asking for BAND NEW RIGs in LK
just different ones that have already been released in the past
considering the RIGs currently given, have been the same ones given for quite some time now. a refresh would be nice
all things considered it should be a matter of just changing the prize lists, right?
also, saying that they can only afford to work on things thatll bring in revenue...
does that mean you guys dont think LK is worth it? that LK wont bring in money?
because it definitely has a dedicated fanbase, and itll be the only game to survive the flash purge... so youd think youd wanna bring it up rather than try to keep it down...

Thank you so much for fixing Heralds of Chaos! I did make a request/suggestion last ATS for it that the assets servers for HoC, zOMG and MoGa (Monster Galaxy) are to be moved and merged to one unified server, phasing out and removing the non-working server links that makes the game unplayable or just incomplete (like the sounds/music not playing because of broken assets links).
(Red links shown on the right side of the image are dead asset links that still use the obsolete edgecast.cdn server. Moving it all to a new working server might fix the problem?)
Also, will the Essence to Gold conversion be fixed to current Gold/Platinum rates? They are broken right now and giving 1 platinum. The rate should be like, if the image shows 10 gold per 1 Essence, it should be 10 Platinum per Essence, while in Gold can be 100 million Gold per Essence. It should draw people to playing the game just for the extra money.
Also, last ATS, it was said that HoC isn't supported on the main site, but I do wonder what this is. So is it possible to bring it back again in the Games Section? Just asking though! Thanks! heart

As for support, HoC is also a game built on Flash, and unlike zOMG I don't have the right tools to make changes within the game, that's why we are hesitant to feature the game as we won't be able to fix any bugs related to it.

Gaia could request a collaboration with similar sites like DeviantArt (deviantart.com). For example, DeviantArt focuses on forums, anime, art, guilds/groups, journals etc. pretty much like Gaia. Both Gaia and DeviantArt have their headquarters in California, so there shouldn’t be any issues with communication and further collaboration if both sides agree on this. Let’s say that they will agree on a collaboration, and Gaia’s forum gets merged with DeviantArt’s forum. Gaia’s users will be able to enjoy all the features of DeviantArt (free image uploading, friends chat, new guilds/groups etc.), and DeviantArt’s users will be able to enjoy all the features of Gaia (making avatars with a huge ever-expanding assortment of items, Towns 3 when it gets finished, Private Messages, the Marriage system, the Achievements system, all of Gaia’s games, guilds/groups etc.). A collaboration will definitely refresh both sites, but again both sides have to agree with this. What do you think of this?

We spoke with Deviantart quite a few years back, but we didn't manage to create a collaboration at that time. Their company had recently been sold and the likelihood of that happening is even less now, unfortunately.

Any clear explanation for what the Halo's Gifts are for and their uses? I know they are what you receive after you donated out of goodwill for Gaia to stay alive but I'm confused. Are they for lifetime or does the thing last for like a day if you bought/donated one. Thanks!

The item itself last forever, much like other items on Gaia. If you equip it, your name in the forums will accompany the status icon. Hope that helps.

That's been a tough question as I don't think it's ethical for Gaia at any point to release items from users' accounts. We would consider re-releasing such items if that is a concern.
