Welcome to the 2021 Job Fair.
We're going to breathe life into this guild! So to do that we're going to host a year-long event! This event will empower your characters and help them grow. and if this goes well, this may be revised and made a permanent aspect of the guild. So let's get started with how this works.
Below is a list of jobs with the possibility of new jobs being added later. Each job requires between 1 - 3 slots as shown by this symbol ◆ next to the job name and each character has 5 available slots. This prevents characters from taking too many strong Jobs while also being able to take complementing jobs.
As badges are earned within the same region, new job "perks" are unlocked. Each perk will be indicated by these symbols/numbers ➊ ➋ ➌ ➍ ➎ ➏ ➐ ➑. The symbol/number indicates what badge from a single region is required to unlock it. Each job's first perk is activated upon earning your first badge.
When 8 badges from the same region are earned, you unlock a 6th job slot.
To claim a job, post a link to the character's profile, and indicate what job's they'll be taking.
This event will remain active for the entirety of 2021.
Paramedic: ◆◆◆➊ +50 HP restored from any potion used outside of battle.
➋ Effect cure items cost 10 Zen but award x3.
➍ During any battle, you
may roll a d20. If you roll 10 or 20 cure any status effects your active pokemon has.
➎ Moves with the effect of "Recovers half max HP" also curse status effects.
Merchant: ◆◆◆➊ Items worth 25 Zen or more cost 5 less.
➌ Can
resell any item you own for market value.
➎ +1 Zenny earned per every Pokemon defeated in a none Gym leader NPC-battle.
➐ Amulet Coin rewards double Zen from Gym Battles.
Breeder: ◆◆➊ -10 from egg hatch counts and Pokemon hatch at level 10.
➌ Pokemon gained from an Event or Monthly may have 2 egg moves.
➎ Pokemon
may evolve 5 levels sooner.
➐ When a pokemon evolves it maybe learn up to 4 egg, forgotten, and or move tutor moves.
Electrician: ◆➊ Any moves chance to paralyze gains a +2/10
➌ -5 from the post count of any TM
➎ Battle Recorder and VS Seeker cost 15 less.
➐ Dowsing Machine Works for 1 week but now reduces the cost by 20%, not 50%
Public Servent: ◆◆➊ When traveling with another player, you may use your items on their pokemon freely outside of battle.
➋ -5 from the post count for any ☯ item.
➍ None damaging moves that decrease or increase a status by one stage become two stages instead.
➐ When traveling with another player, they may gain access to their next job perk 1 badge earlier.
Craftsmen ◆◆➊ Items "crafted' from Stones, Gems, and Apricorn award one extra of the same item.
➋ -5 from the post count for any ● item.
➌ All items are now treated as a "Wide-Range"
➏ May sacrifice up to 3 items to "craft" an item of the same cumulative post count value as the items sacrificed.
Teacher: ◆◆➊ Pokemon can learn new moves 5 levels early.
➋ -5 from the post count for any ✂ item.
➍ Heartscale may be used to teach a single pokemon two forgotten or Move Tutor moves.
➏ Unevolved pokemon may learn moves their evolutions can upon leveling up.
Hunter: ◆➊ +1 level to any Catch chance roll.
➋ -5 from the post count for any ☠ item.
➍ +5 level's to each newly caught pokemon.
➑ Mega evolution recovers half max HP upon activation.
Writer: ◆◆◆➊ Written NPC Encounter battles award +1 to the Wild Encounter count.
➋ Written Wild Encounter battles award +2 to the NPC Encounter count.
➎ Written Gym battles award +5% Exp to each pokemon that took part.
➏ Written Gym battles award +1 Zen for each Dice Rolled due to the effect of a move.
Scientist: ◆➊ -1 from the cost of Wild encounters and NPC battle costs
➋ -5 from the post count for any ⌬ item.
➎ Encountering any pokemon automatically records its Data as though it was captured. This counts towards any and all Guild Achievements.
➏ Held items that give a % boost below 50% become 50%.
Miner: ◆➊ Gem's are unequipped, not consumed during battles.
➋ -5 from the post count for any ☗ item.
➍ Pokemon evolved with an Evolution stone gain +5 levels
➏ Fossil pokemon are revived at level 30
Detective: ◆◆➊ Accuracy, Evasion, and Critical Hit Ratio are raised one stage at the start of battle.
➋ -5 from the post count for any ₪ item.
➌ may pay 1 Zen to re-roll any Wild Encounter.
➍ Items with a Zen cost can be posted for anywhere instead.
Musician: ◆➊ ♪ held items gain "This item can't be lost due to moves or abilities."
➋ -5 from the post count for any ♪ item.
➌ ♪ Based moves ignore Protection effects and Type immunities, but not abilities.
➍ ♪ based moves deal +10 damage, ignore Accuracy, Evasion and gain a 5/10 chance to flinch as well as +1 appeal and If used first, startles opponent.
Criminal ◆◆◆⓪ Every 50 different pokemon species you own, counts as 1 gm badge.
➀ May capture, AKA "steal", 1 pokemon from a none gym leader NPC's party once defeated. Must still roll to capture. -1 to the capture chance when stealing a pokemon. May only roll once per pokemon.
➂ Active Party size is reduced to 3, however, may use any 3 pokemon from your Out of Party collection. Active Party pokemon earn +2 Exp a post.
➆ May Sell any pokemon you own for Zen equal to twice it's level to another player.
Note: The following 3 jobs are tied to Ribbons
and Gym Badges.
Farmer: ◆➊ -5 from the post count for any ❦ item.
➋ +2 berries from Growth Chambers and -5 from the growth count.
➌ Gain x3 consumable Berries and x2 Herbs from post counts.
➍ 2 Growth Chambers can be active at once.
Cook: ◆➊ -5 from the post count for any ☘ item.
➋ Food items are unequipped, not consumed during battles.
➌ +2 to whatever the highest trait is when making a Poffin.
➍ A pokemon can consume up to 9 poffins.
Idol: ◆◆◆➊ +3 to any roll below 10 during The Introduction Round of any contest.
➋ Contest Seal's, Sigil's, and Scarf's give a base appeal of +3 to their respective scores.
➌ Pokemon become immune to being Startled.
➍ Each pokemon moves count as whatever contest type they are taking part in.
