 Karthin chuckled. "I did indeed indulge their curiosity." He told her. "And you're right. Elves are the best archers in history, but it's not entirely due to us being skilled. Don't get me wrong that factors into a heavy percent of why, but it also has to do with the materials with which we make our bows." He told her. "There are certain kinds of wood in the world that are better suited for the strain of a bow. With that special wood, and a special string we make from spider silk, and other things, the bows are more durable, flex with your draw better, and have better snap back potential than anything else. They make for perfect precision and faster than one would think an arrow should travel." He explained.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela nodded,"I see we will have to set up a trading venture through the two nations... I think that will be good for the alliance", she explained,"We can also provide heavenly items that are not easily attainable", she explained,"We trade with the angels all the time that is why our magic is enhanced with light magic with the weapons we use here", she explained,"The angels bless them for us and in turn we make there armor to fight against the demons".

Karthin nodded as he listened to her. "I don't know if any elves can utilize anything like that. It sounds like a very handy thing to have on your side." He told her as he bent down and kissed the top of her head. "Enchantment magics are rare to find these days. You would think that the council outlawed it or something." He said with a soft chuckle. He stared into the fire as he slowly caressed Angela's skin. He seemed to be in a daze as his mind wandered aimlessly.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela began to think thoughtfully,"They can be bad in the wrong hands I suppose... its goes with a bunch of outlawed magics.. I wouldn't doubt they are outlawed in your country", she concluded as she yawned and went to rest her head upon him feeling sleepy,"But outlawed magics are just a means to an end I suppose... because even they can be used in secrecy...", she told him quietly drifting off to sleep.

Karthin petted her hair as she drifted off to sleep. "It seems as though you have secrets from everybody my love." He whispered to her as he kissed the top of her head. He held her close as sleep slowly claimed him.
His dreams were wrought with horrifying images of all of the fights he has ever been in through his life. At the end of the dream he saw a visage of himself, but all of the scars from his past were glowing on his skin. He woke up in a cold sweat. He was gasping for breath as he tried to figure out where he was.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela found herself awaken by a terrified karthin and she sat up in bed and held him,"Darling whats the matter?", she asked wiping the sweat from his brow as she planted kisses on it,"Do your nightmares haunt you?", she asked blinking softly in the lower light of dawn.

"It's nothing important love." He told her as he kissed her softly. "It was nothing but a dream. I apologize for waking you up so early." He added as he sat up and gently lied Angela back on the bed. "Get some more rest I will be back soon. I must relieve myself." He told her with a small chuckle. He then dressed himself completely and exited the room. He walked down the hall to the wash room and did his business before he started making his way back to the room. He paused at the door as images of his nightmare flashed through his head. He quickly shook those thoughts and went to climb back into bed with Angela.
