It was the first day of a new year, nothing too special to most people, but to Julie...it was a day she had been looking forward to for a two years now. It was the day Evelyn was allowed to go to school for the first time. Sure, Julie had visited the Fey in the orphanage, but visits weren't long enough or fulfilling enough because Julie had to focus on homework and, honestly, hung out with her friends. But today! Today Evie came out and the two of them could be together again. Julie had even asked for, and gotten permission to share a dorm room with her 'little sister'.Julie waited at the front gate of the school and shouted when she saw the pink clad Fey step foot on school grounds. "Evelyn! Evelyn! Over here!" The Grimm waved excitedly, jumping up and down. "Evie!!!" She saw the Fey turn to look, smile, and begin to run towards her. Julie just opened her arms to let the smaller girl hit her with a hug closer to a tackle.

Evelyn was nervous as she made her way towards the school with the rest of the orphans who were old enough to attend. Julie had promised to meet her, but what if she forgot? Or what if she couldn't find her in all these other freshlings? What if she didn't show up because she'd met other people to be her sister? All the 'what ifs' swirls in her little heart, so loud she missed her name being called at first. Finally the shouting sank through and she looked up to see Julie waving frantically at her. A happy sob escaped her and she broke away from the group, running as fast as she could into Julie's arms. As soon as she hit the bigger girl, she wrapped her arms and legs tightly against Julie's body like a monkey, wiping her tears into Julie's shirt. Not that she needed to, Julie was hugging her as hard as she was hugging Julie.
