Night firmly took it's toll on the pride, but instead of sleeping, Elendil'Surion was wide awake and still feeling like he had things to do.

He paced slowly, outside of the den area, and any who were making their way back knew by now that it was normal. Ele had to make sure all, if not most, of the pride were in their dens before he went to his own. His tail flicked back and forth as he stopped for a minute.

If Ele took the time to notice, he'd feel just how warm and sore his muscles were. The constant anxiety that gripped him made him exhausted in every possible way, but he was trying so hard to seem normal.

His brother wanted him to find a mate. Wanted him to lead by example. He wouldn't find someone who'd put up with his constant worrying, ever changing sleeping schedule, and often irritable moods. He hadn't so far, and Ele had been actively trying at one point. Just no one ever clicked. No one he'd met, male or female, became more than just a friend. The lion couldn't even claim he had a best friend, he kept to himself so often.

He sat down outside the dens, eyes unfocused and staring down in front of him. Slowly Ele's ears pressed back as he got even further lost in these thoughts.
