He wasn't sure what had compelled him to go.. maybe because he hadn't been out in awhile, having to work extra shifts, and tend to his little ones. But the idea of checking out the deemed 'spooky' woods sounded like a chance for something new and possibly exciting. The towering, beauty wasn't one to be afraid of rumors, not anymore. If anything, he was sure it was perhaps a hoax, or just gossip getting out of control. Maybe some guys ego got sore from encountering some spectre fox that caught them off guard?

Any matter, Monet was here, and his seafoam green eyes were drawn to the ominous building that stood just at the lip of the forest. It was imposing, and grand, with an eerie air about it that told ones instincts to keep a distance. However... Monet didn't believe in appearances being all that there was to a person, nor a place. He of all people would know. While he was vain, and appreciated the more aesthetically appealing sights to his eyes, there was usually a lot more to unfold in the unexpected. And so he pushed open the creaky, slowly decaying metal fence that surrounded the property, open. It was so loud that he winced a little... but kept walking through it.

He really needed to stop letting pherein talk him into checking out scary places. However at least this time it wasn't his little brother, and truthfully there was something about the allure of the unknown. Ghosts had the best stories to tell sometimes. Sure there were nasty ones and quite dangerous ghosts, but for the most part they were just lonely. So when pherein passed info about a haunted house next to a haunted woods, well seraph just had to check it out.

It had been a bit of a challenge. Seraph was finally free from school and his agents had booked him solid. Seraph had done so much stripping, redressing, and posing that it was practically invading his dreams. Still his agent had seen that seraph needed a well deserved break and so here he was checking out the haunted house. Seeing it a low whistle escaped. The house felt old... and more realistic feeling than the last haunted house he had been too. There were fresh tracks on the ground but that wasn't surprising, pherein had mentioned the house had been drawing attention lately and people were coming out to check the rumors.

Stepping into the house, he wandered about briefly until he walked into a room with another living occupant.

" ah hello? The house check your attention too?" Seraph smiled pleasantly. Hopefully he hadn't startled the other. Haunted houses had that aura that made some people jumper than normal.

Strolling up to the front door, he gave a polite knock at first, head tilting to make sure he could hear clearly. Nope... no response.. but he didn't expect there to be one. Plus... from the light knock, it opened the door just a fragment of a crack... Which was an invite for him to waltz right in. Inside it was so dingy, and unappealing, as if it hadn't been lived in for ages. Dust coated heavily on every inch of furniture, which itself was tremendously outdated. Really, it made him wonder if the rumors were true. Why would such a prime piece of real estate go untouched for so long? It was fishy... but maybe it was kept for the spooky appeal by someone with an interesting take on humor.

His waist twisted quickly when he heard another set of steps behind him, head turning too with surprise at spying yet another curious visitor. Manicured brows rose to express his shock at the sight, even looking past his new company for a moment to check if any others were trailing behind. But so far it looked like just this one for now. A hand placed on his chest as he calmed himself again, bright smile peeling onto his face, turning his body entirely to face this new stranger.

A very obvious look up and down was given to them, before the tall Naiad replied, "It did indeed! Looks like it's caught your attention too." he chuckled, stopping short when the door slammed suddenly behind the newcommer, making Monet widen his gaze and jump slightly. That.... was odd....

There were small signs that he had probably spooked the other, but not to badly which seraph was grateful for. He much preferred making people happy than spooking them, which is why he had only ever helped the twins when they were doing something to cheer others up. Still truthfully he was glad not to be stuck alone in the house. Well stuck probably was poor wording. Mmm traversing the house alone by himself.

Seraph smiled as he was checked out, he was always used to being looked at from every moment of life he could remember and knew that he didn't look half bad, after all he made his living showing off his body. Well the clothes on his body but some shots where practically pin ups. Point was he was hardly offended. At least there wasn't the spark of recognition. Those stares tended to be uncomfortable.

"It did, I have to admit I can't help my self against the allure of the unknown I suppose" Seraph chuckled. "And with the hype wanted to see if these walls would talk to me". He didn't think they would actually do it literally but the state of things and how a house looked and sat spoke just as well. Of course that's when the house almost decided it wanted to prove it wasn't fake and the door shut.

" mmm don't have locked, don't have locked" seraph muttered, he seriously pondered if he was cursed when it came to doors. mmm that was the latch he heard clicking. Damn. Well at least it was better than an elevator. Seraph barely kept his smile.

His eyes couldn't tear away from the door, only slightly shifting side to side as if to look for some sort of source that could have been the cause. No gust of wind from inside... Tail tip curling and folding around a leg, his eyes narrowed slightly to stare at the door accusingly. Maybe there was a mechanic inside that made it close after awhile? But the house didn't look THAT fancy... perhaps it was some sort of trick that was installed by the owners to add to the spooky atmosphere?

But like his new company mentioned, it seemed like this could be part of the charm that drew folks to inspect it for themselves. Smiling again, the tall drink of a man turned his attention fully to his appealing new discovery, "The unknown is so exciting, isn't it?" he hummed, arms folding behind him as he rolled back on his heels. "I've never been one to shy away from my curiosity~" he cooed, strolling over to inspect the doors up close. Giving them a tug, he realized they were firmly stuck, with no give in the slightest...

"well looks like we'll have to find another way out when we're ready to leave!" he chimed cheerfully, returning back to the other visitor, "Any matter, what's your name handsome? I'm Monet~"

Well if anything could be said about seraph it was that he was adaptable. A trait that had served him well growing up and in his chosen career. Plus there was way more room to move around then the last place he had gotten stuck in. He turned to see how his companion was handling the whole somewhat of a scare, well they almost looked disbelieving staring at the door as they were but seraph didn’t want to over analyze and analyze wrong.

“Very much so. Too much of life is predictable in a way these days. It’s nice to have an adventure.” Seraph answered with a smile. Truthfully if he was stressed enough and the house was evil he could always phase through the wall to the outside but he didn’t feel threatened and he didn’t want to leave behind his companion so the phase probably wouldn’t have worked. “I admit I am the same. If you let your fears hold you back you miss out on so many interesting things in life. Of course one should always be some what cautious but I don’t feel in danger. Plus old houses always seem to have multiple exits” seraph agreed, and then the dreaded question was brought up.

“Well thank you for noticing, you are very handsome yourself” seraph smiled and then bit his lip. his companion looked rather fashionable so they had probably looked at a magazine some time recently. “ i’m seraph. Seraph Aracelia. Pleasure to meet you Monet”

Already, seafoam green eyes were traversing the home and its entirety. Or what he could see of it, that is. Being very tall had its perks in giving him better lines of sight. The grand winding staircase that sat at the front surely wouldn’t lead to a way out, but it did tickle his curiosity to explore further in the dark and mysterious abode.

Oh but it was so dusty and dark... digging in the small pocket of his little shorts, his phone was fished out, and it’s built in light flipped on to provide better vision to scan down the hallways and rooms to either side. Lots of the furniture was either covered with heavy cloth for protection, or seemed far too worn and coated with dust to even be bothered to protect. How interesting...

Taking a few steps in either direction to give each a chance for a peek, he returned back to Seraph, nodding along with a beaming smile, “exaaaactly, and look how big this place is! So much to explore.” A more mischievous expression appeared. “And so much snooping to be had.”

The returned compliment had him light up all the more, always glad to have his beauty acknowledged. He was a glutton for attention and compliments. Oh but the name drop had his tail stiffen from its fluid motions, eyes widening slightly too. “Wait... you mean that Seraph Aracelia? From the magazines??” He exclaimed, looking the guy with fresh eyes, and circling him as if to find if the authenticity was there.

So standing here almost like an animal caught in a bright light, wouldn’t get him anywhere and he walked over to just lightly skim his fingers over a piece of covered furniture. They came back pretty dusty as expected. This was the first year the house had been reopened. It made him wonder why the current owner was allowing people to come explore, although strangely it didn’t look as if many people had come through exploring. He started lightly glowing wanting to preserved one of their phones just in case they had to try to call for help, although Seraph had told people where he was going. If they couldn’t get out, someone would be by eventually.

“Haha I haven’t heard that line in a while.” Seraph laughed when Monet mentioned snooping. The twins he knew when he was younger where always dragging him into situations to pull pranks or to snoop. “However I agree, huge space is the perfect place.”

Of course then to add to the bad luck streak, Monet unlike Ume had actually picked up the right magazines and the Name was recognized. So there was only one option and that was to keep up his positivity and own it.

“Mmm guilty as charged. I’m actually wearing a charm that changes my appearance slightly, not by much just to change both my eyes to blue and to hide my second tail.” Seraph replied taking the necklace off and letting the features that identified him as well himself appear. “You would never believe how often that keeps people from recognizing me. I tend to wear sunglasses as well but with how dark the forest was, I figured that might hamper sight in the long run.” Aaaah he was babbling or starting to babble and the little color change from his tendrils was giving away his mood. It was always a problem when someone recognized him, he was always afraid that they would only want to be his friend for his fame.
