Personality: While Meliae, at times, can be a little ditzy and childish, she's a kind soul who has her head on straight. She does her best to get herself educated and learn more about modern society, despite not being all that good at it, but her determination knows no bounds. Her smiles and giggles tend to be infectious and her hugs are the best cure for a bad day. Mel loves to comfort others, be uplifting, and be their shoulder to lean on. When she gets sad, she typically gets pouty and teary-eyed and it's surprisingly hard to get her mad.

Biography: The dryad group that Meliae was born into were nomads, always moving, never staying any longer than a few weeks. They made their way up and down the Americas until they decided to settle in the North and finally become accustomed to modern advances. However, the transition was a bit more difficult for Meliae than it was for the others. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't understand technology and how it worked, how does this glass light up? How can this tiny box let you talk to someone far away? Since she was always behind with understanding modernity, she always spent a lot more time in the forest with her elders, where she was able to learn more about her powers and master them from a young age. However, Meliae couldn't grasp modern teachings either and seemed to be destined towards a life of being a housewife, which didn't exactly sit well with her. She did her best to study and grasp the basics when it comes to arithmetics and science but was constantly being pushed down to focus on cooking and cleaning.
And one day, in a fit she threw, she left without warning and was too embarrassed by her rash decisions to return to her family. Meliae continued to move around, doing odd jobs as she went to force herself to learn more about modern society. Now that she has a better grasp of living in a city, she decided to settle in Fantaisie, after she liked the feel of the place.
