Basic Information

The firearm is essentially a bullpup Ak-108 chambered in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a revolving underbarrel shotgun designed to largely fire high explosive Frag-12 grenades. The firearm utilizes a reciprocating gas piston that helps to cancel out felt recoil, making the weapon 2-3 times more controllable than comparable long stroke gas piston weapons. The long stroke gas piston is reliable but heavy, and traditionally with high recoil. Given the lower recoil of the firearm given the forward-reciprocating mass-counter balance system, patterned off of the Ak-108 firearm, the primary issue with long stroke gas piston can be eliminated, thus making it more controllable in rapid fire. The weapon is designed to be bullpup and possesses similiar ergonomics to the Tavor, being rear-heavy, with a left-sided non-reciprocating charging handle, and a different safety. The bolt makes a seal with the receiver preventing debri from entering the weapon, making the weapon more reliable when exposed to harsh environmental conditions, a common problem with the Ak-47. Like the tavor it utilizes a long stroke gas piston patterned off of the galil gas tube, but the mechanism is more reminiscent of the Ak-108 style of firearm. The firearm is 8 pounds without any accessories, and is 9 pounds fully loaded, while it is 9.6 pounds with the shotgun attachment (which is 1.6 pounds), and 12.6 pounds fully loaded with each 12 round shotgun revolving cylinder being nearly a pound. This is largely due to it's polymer construction, which makes it considerably lighter weight. The FRAG-12 grenades are far more accurate and aerodynamic than standard 12 gauge buckshot rounds, giving them a far longer effective range of 400 meters, and a maximum range of 1000 meters when angled high above the target.
