It was exciting to find another photographer that seemed eager about their subject. He was pretty used to being considered the weird kid for his love of birds, but Anne seemed equally excited about her love of flowers. It was kind of neat. After he had collected his photo to show her, he was excited when she said it was impressive. Well, that was good. He had been really proud of the detailing on that picture. Hummingbirds were notoriously tricky to capture on film. He was about to respond with more technical information, but Anne touched his arm. Blue eyes looked down at it, wondering why it had been done. People did not normally do that, did they?

She then continued, mentioning that her family did not particularly like when she would discuss flowers at length, and he felt something of a kindred spirit. Eddie nodded a bit, knowing that feeling all too well. "I have also felt the quiet disappointment when people do not like to listen as I explain something in depth." he paused, looking back at Anne. "And for a bit of advice, if you happen to meet my younger sister, Iana, you should be mindful to not touch her. She dislikes germs." Eddie nodded, hoping that his information would be helpful. He figured that spending time with Anne was something he might like to do again, so he should help her prepare for the people that spent a lot of time with him.

He typed her order into the till, doing some quick mental math for it. His motions froze when Anne spoke again. "Oh... no. I... no. I prefer to be on the other end of the camera. I do not like being in photographs." He nodded, feeling the conversation must be over... correct? "I am, for you, applying a discount. My dad, he allows for us to use discretion for new customers and such." Besides, if she liked the shop, perhaps they would become her primary shop for camera equipment.... and maybe that meant that he could see her again..... but why did that thought even cross his head?
