Ability: Summoning of the Arcana - Born with a cross shaped birthmark on her chest, Esther can place a hand upon her birthmark and summon forth magical tarot cards. This deck of tarot cards has the ability to "summon" magics of different kinds. Each card holds it own unique ability but each card may only be used up to three times a day per day. Esther is able to use up to three cards at once and as an added bonus Esther also can use them as true tarot cards; Being able only to read the "emotions" at the current time questions are asked. SECRETS
Bio: Esther was in both way's one of the loudest and quietest births in the castle. She cried with much bravado as a very healthy baby girl, but her birth was overshadowed by the birth of her twin brother who's sickly body needed the full attention of all midwifes and others in the room. While she was always able to do for herself her brother always had someone by his side to tend to his needs. While this would make her secretly feel unwanted at times she kept it to herself as she studied to be the perfect lady she was to be if ever to marry well off.
She was sort of known to be a strong willed girl from a young age as she always tried protecting her twin when others would make fun of him for being so wimpy. Many boys tried picking on Gareth so with each fist thrown Esther would ruin her ladylike reputation. It began to eat at her and slowly she began to grow a distaste for the weak; And in turn for Gareth as well. At this time she begins to show subtle signs of her dislike of her twin brother but again she would try bottling it up the best she could as she learned more of her family's magical inheritance from her mother's side.
At the age of 16 A local village had been under attack by nearby bandits. This bandit group was fairly infamous, and had large numbers and the advantage of the forest terrain. Most of the Lords of her father had given up at the thought, figuring it would be far to much of a loss to take on the bandits. When no one would take on the task, Gareth would quietly ask their father for permission to oversee this battle. Anyone could tell, at first their father was very skeptic. How was his no name son going to win a battle. With their father granting Gareth his request, Esther immediately hatched the plan to sneak into the ranks and follow her brother into battle. She was not to be outdone nor outclassed by her wimpy twin so of course she was very foolish and head strong about her plan.
It was during her time with Gareth and his march of 500 soldiers that Esther would have a sudden romance with a female knight. It was most unforseen for the sixteen year old to fall for someone three years older than her but even more so that it was a woman who had rescued her a few times and taught her the fundamentals of combat. It was most romantic and real but only to be short lived. The ugliness of war is that it doesn't discriminate who you are or what creed you hold, it devours your bones all the same. It was during Gareth's Battle that the female knight fell mortality wounded and it was that Esther learned her father's love of killing and crushing the weak underneath your feet. With magic unleashed in a hellish fury Esther assisted in gaining victory of the battle and thanks to Gareth's leadership most everyone survived; But not the one Esther wanted the most and so her secret hate for her twin darkened ever more.
Since then Esther had joined her brother's army in battles during their family's revaluation to overthrow Empress Catherine in order to claim what was rightfully theirs, and now that the empire is at peace under Emperor Azazel's rule she enjoys the selfish riches of the lands while basking in the admiration of lords and princes who wish to win the princess's heart.
While her life had been like a dream when her father was in power Esther soon found herself in a nightmare. Her and her family had become mad with power, imposing high taxes and outlandish laws, and it soon brought the wrath of all the kingdoms upon them. After the kingdoms waged war Esther tried fight back the rebellion with an army of her own but it was to no avail; The revolutionaries won and her father was slain. With her family overthrown it made way for the new empress, her cousin Evelyn, to steal the throne and unite the kingdoms while forcing Esther into hiding. She was aided by the kindness of Dixon Titanus and it was thanks to his power that she was able to climb the ranks within Ethe and was made Countess of Alluvione. As of now she stays safe living in the kingdom of Ethe and continues to help Dixon however she can while being sure to keep her life luxurious safe.
