The appeal for most to this pride had been the pursuit of knowledge among many other things related to the crystals and healing. For Bheka he'd originally found him self lost with no place to go and stumbled on the silver beaches only to find them occupied. Not one for conflict he had decided to join the pride and discovered that the shores had something more valuable to him them gems which were the shells. Each one was unique in its own way while also finding a way to conform to a particular shape. Not only that but the lion liked to collect them and was experimenting with making jewelry out of the fascinating things.

Out on the silver beaches it would be hard to pin point where Bheka was if you weren't looking for the silver lion as his pelt blended in perfectly aside from some minor red face markings. He didn't mind that he blended in well with his settings because he much preferred to keep to him self especially when he was searching for the perfect shells for his craft.

A makeshift satchel hung from the lions side. It was clear that the thing was not crafted quite well because it looked like it might burst at any moment. To be fair, Bheka was looking to the craft of jewelry and not satchels.

However, the poor craftmanship was going to bite him in his a** as the bottom gave out and shells scattered by his paw in to the water. Some of the shells shattered on impact.

"No no no no no!" Bheka did his best to paw the none shattered shells on to the shores. His ears were bent back in worry as he worked frantically to save what he could.

Msimu strolled the beaches. Lehlwa had since forgiven her from the whole 'glowing beach' incident, but the lighter of the sisters had found herself cooped up in the library studying. She mentioned something about interesting scrolls hidden, as well as keeping a certain scribe from entering when she was there. Not wanting to question, Msimu would jut nod her head, tell her sister where she could find her, and head off with a small farewell.

Her attention was caught by the sound of distress. Her ears perked as her gaze followed towards the sound of the other.

"Oh," she murmured when she caught sight of the lion near the shore, pushing something from the water to the drier land before him.

She quickened her pace as she hurried towards him. "Can I help?" She asked with a frown, eyeing the fallen shells before her. Some were broken, some still held their shape.

Bheka was furiously still pawing at the shells in the ocean only to lift his ears for a moment before turning to see Msimu there. He'd been so frantic about trying to save his shells he'd forgotten others may also be on the beach and that others may be able to help.

He nodded his head yes while his eyes stayed wild and open with panic about saving his shells. Words did not form from his maw but the curt nodding was indication enough that he was indeed in need of help. He continued to paw at the shells as the swell of the ocean tried to pull some back with its tide. The gray lion was quite determined to make sure the ocean did not win here as he continued.

The frown remained on her maw as Msimu entered the water. Instead of pawing to get the shells out, she flopped to her side, using her body as a barrier against the rolling waves, to prevent the solid material from floating deeper into the sea. That should help the frantic male a little bit more, instead of him trying to fight the waves to save the shells that seemed precious to him.

"Ohhh, chilly water today," Msimu cooed, her paw dipping in, grabbing a few shells in pawfulls as she collected what she could. She was careful not to crush the shells in her grasp. They seemed fragile enough, she didn't want to accidently do more harm than good.

Once she seemed sastified, she rose herself from the water, hobbling on three paws to the shore and placing the shells she had gathered. She shook herself, letting the water fly from her.

"How many causalities did you have?"

Bheka stopped the moment Msimu used her body as a shield for the current and sea and stared for a moment with his maw slightly agape. The level of bad-assery that she was displaying was impressive and again Bheka found himself with a loss of words.

"You don't have to lay in the ocean that seems so uncomfortable," He managed after a moment processing what she was doing. His paws worked quicker so that she wouldn't feel obligated to do what she was doing for much longer. He felt really bad that she was going through that level of trouble over him. Bheka may or may not have had some self esteem issues.

"But .. it does seem effective... Oh.." He looked thoughtful as he frantically kept pawing up the shells, "I want to say about twenty five percent but I'm not sure.. I'm not sure how many are actually intact to be honest.." One final paw full of shells and he retreated from the cause assuming the rest was not worth while.

"I think this is it.. all of them.. There may be a few shattered that I saved on accident," And reversely there may have been a few that were fine that got left behind.

"Eh, what's a little water. Never hurt anyone right?"

...don't answer that Bheka.

"Whatever ones that are not intact, surely you can find some sort of use for them, right?" Msimu was trying to be optimistic for the other. "And hey, at least we got the majority of them it seems!" the lioness said with a smile. "So, I call that a win. Although, we...probably should fix that satchel of yours," the lioness eyes the bag and source of the fallen shells. She made a slight tsking noise at it. "Let's fine a good spot to hide these shells for a little bit, aye? We can find some new material to make a better bag for you so this won't happen again. Sound good?"

What Msimu was saying made a lot of sense to the gray male. He figured they could always come back for the shells later because no one in the pride would be after these. The pride territory was pretty closed off from rogues so there wasn't really any where the shells could wander off too. The gray lion nodded in agreement.

"Yeah I think if we find some where hide tide won't reach them it should be fine," He looked to his satchel and frowned.

"I'm not talented with bags.. I tried though." The frown widened.

Msimu nodded, taking a paw full of shells and moving them away from the shore. "I think they should be safe just over here. The tide shouldn't reach them if we don't return quickly, wouldn't you say?" The lioness asked, placing the shells carefully on the dry dirt.

"That's okay. Not everyone is good at the same skill. You are lucky! You are in the presence of someone who is ALSO not talented with bags, but surely we can figure this out together, no?" Msimu said with a smile, nudging the male slightly. "Hmm...since the shell edges are sharp, we want something to make sure they won't accidently tear or rip it." The brown lioness thought. "It's too bad we can't make a bag out of these crystals, aye? No tears then!" She giggled.

The gray lion had to smile at Msimu's optimism about figuring out bags. At this point it wasn't so much about the bag as the fact he was feeling refreshed to know that things were okay and his shells were just fine and maybe he shouldn't take things so seriously.

"Alright. Lets go figure out how to make a bag together than."

You could probably hear the song 'do you want to make a snowman bag whistling in the winds of the sea if you listened hard enough that is. Maybe Bheka's ears twitched in reaction to something on the winds or maybe he imagined that. The world may never know.

"Maybe ... we could figure a way out to use shells.. no no thats dumb. Follow me I'll show you where I got my materials," With that Bheka was off to show Msimu where he got his crafting materials.

"Oh. That's not a dumb idea!" Msimu stated. "Let's check out these materials, but you might be on to something. If we can find a way to reinforce the bag with the broken shells, maybe that would make it stronger!" She suggested. That was something that was doable, but they would have to be creative in figuring out how to make broken shells stick. She was unsure if there were any trees that secreted the sticky resin in the area that could work.

"Right, onwards then!" Msimu laughed, following Bheka to the hub of his materials. She couldn't wait to return to Lehlwa with a newly crafted bag! If Bheka thought he would be the only one crafting something this evening, he would be wrong. Msimu wanted to partake in the fun times too!
