[Sonora] Headcanons/ Hopes with FriendsFriend group: Jonah, Alex, Vespera
"I remember when I met you all... Alex and Vespera had sat next to me in Charms and Jonah had charmed me during the welcome feast." *flush*
Alex and Jonah make the Quidditch teams but Sona doesn't? She still goes to every practice and studies quidditch strategy.
Sona's parents invite all her friends over the summer of her second year for 1-2 weeks.
Edit: Why is everyone's father out of the picture D: Elmond (Sona's dad) would totally be like "poor babies....if I can be surrogate father to anyone just let me know...let me be there for you!"
Callum (Sona's grandfather) the first time they invite everyone over: "Puffs and birds! What have we done, Scythe? Our legacy is puffs and birds!"
Scytharia: What are you talking about? We have a perfectly capable snake here. *patpats Ves proudly*
Sona's family gave her 4 scarves (one in each house's colors) at the start of term. She gives Alex the Hufflepuff one, Ves the Slytherin one, Jonah the Ravenclaw one, and keeps the Gryffindor one at the bottom of her trunk until she meets a Gryffindor friend.
Jonah
They study together in the common room; she falls asleep mid-way through the night and wakes up with his sweater over her shoulders. She wakes him up with hot chocolate or coffee before class the next morning.
He looks up all the distractions they have and she has copious notes of upcoming exams.
The first time he shows her a cool magical creature, she cuts/ burns/ hurts her fingers/ hands and is unable to play the piano for a few weeks. She's super sad the entire time but insists on going again because she decideds she treasures their relationship more.
When he gives her a nickname she struggles to find one for him and instead writes him a song on the piano #(I need to find one)
Loves singing with him. Goes and finds duet pieces, learns the piano parts for those.
Vespera
Sona inadvertently feeds prank ideas to Ves. Probably intentionally later on.
Ves likes flowers? Would she like taking the flower clips from Sona's headband?
Their first time out in Hogsmeade, Sona sees a cute dress shop, drags Ves to try stuff on with her (preferably letting Jonah or someone set up a prank) and then when they meet up again she's bought Ves something small too.
Sleepovers over the summer.
Kam and Iggy
Piano (Sona) + Violin (Vespera) + Cello (Kam) + Guitar (Iggy)Quartet???
Just sends them sheet music all the time.
She and Kam play piano duets together and have entire conversations just with the piano.
When they're older and graduated, they do one of these live improv "conversations" as part of some charity event
Rhea
DISNEY DUETS
Just adores Rhea. I mean like who could not?
Likes watching Rhea dance or skate and thinks of accompaniment to go along with it.
Nerds out about wandlore with her.
Chance Whitethorne--Sona doesn't find out his name the first club meeting (might've just missed it) and calls him "the seventh year guitarist/ club captain" in her head for almost a year before she finds out. (Would be funny if he missed her name too and thought of her as "the first year piano girl" but I never told Loki about this so razz )
Other
Eiji Clarke-- Eiji's enthusiasm for manga inspires Sona to take her drawing more seriously. She'd focus more on drawing backgrounds and objects than characters. She'd definitely volunteer to be his assistant and do backgrounds/ inking/ screen tones for him.

When he finds out she also likes mystery stories, he sometimes hands her short drafts of his own writing just "if you have time."
Rhea
August to Rhea over the years: sigh Kids these days > do i really have to train her.... > I refuse to have anything to do with you> I mean technically she's only 2 years younger than me so she isn't being totally insane? >This is terrible. I reject this relationship. But anyone else touch her little heart and I will ducking murder you.> A few weeks of silent, possessive "Rhea is MINE" > I’m no good for you; you deserve someone better. You deserve a happy future and happy futures don’t include me.
??? Depending how this relationship plays out.
He does say "I'm sorry but apparently I already have a girlfriend" to reject people though.
Lizzie: “WHO? Who is your girlfriend?!”
"Apparently the sister of my nemesis. This sounds like a drama anime. Forget this, I have to deal with work. Lizzie, be a dear and make sure no one touches the child during these formative stages of her life, would you?"
"Sure, Auggie, I'll guard yer wee girlfriend's innocence for yeh.... This isn't creepy at ALL."
"...." raised eyebrow as though everything was actually okay. In his head: “Lizzie’s a decent girl, and girls need girls to mentor them. Obviously her brothers can’t do this but Lizzie and Sona could.”
There'd be a remarkable relationship tension here if he's crushing on Rhea while he's being a sourpuss about Sona liking Jonah, however their relationship unfolds.
Just happens to get the idea to take lessons in ballroom dancing sometime after his 3rd or 4th year. Just to "keep in shape".
