We'll look into the management of the dumpster dive engine and see what we can do to prevent dumps and also setup some flood control to prevent that.

It could be either directly on the avatar, or in the closet. To make things easier to prevent bugs, you might want to simply have an extra outfit slot in the closet reserved for that purpose.

The dress up engine doesn't allow items that you don't own to be equipped, but maybe in the outfit system. Will look into it.

The main attraction for Cinemas was a partnership that got us movies to play on the site, and that partnership expired after a year.
As for the Youtube portion, there were a couple of problems at the time, one of which was that there was moderation issues with us not being able to filter content. Never the less I would love to have a similar feature back. Maybe after we got the whole HTML5 Towns 3 thing sorted out. We shall see!

Tagging items. Right now, the way the suggested tags through the tag suggestions feature get approved is by having moderators approve them to make sure they're appropriate, both in relevancy and in not being really unsavory things. However, mods are in short supply, very busy, and take a long time to train. Would you guys consider training people specifically just to do tagging approval? I imagine it would take far less time to train people just for this and make a lot more people eligible to do it, thus making the work of improving the tags on items go a lot faster.

The feature requires some engineering to allow us to create a new user group to moderate item tags. It's on our todo list and is something we can put into motion as soon as the feature is complete.

Well, after Gaia went back online yesterday, notifications for profile comments didn't seem to be working at all;
for instance, I'd gotten a message from a friend there and I wasn't ever told about it on the My Gaia page.
Also, after submitting a profile comment an error pops up with this:
yet after reloading the page it seems the message had been sent?
It's a little bit confusing. sweatdrop
I'll do more testing and make sure it's fixed after ATS. Sorry for the bugs.

So this might be a lot to ask but i was just wondering if you plan on mass reworking certain aspects of the site in the future. I've used this site back in 09 and i can't tell you enough how much i love and appreciated everything! But I've recently returned and the site is still similar to back then, to me it seems like everything is focused on making new outfits and recolors. I'd just want to know if anything like that will be planned for the future/ near future.

Currently we are making massive changes in migrating our server operation to cloud computing, but Codemonkey had been hard at work building HTML5 versions of popular features from dress up to Gaia Towns. It will take a while but I hope to have a fully fledged mobile app in the near future. I'd like to get that ready before changing the look and feel of the current website.

This question is directed at Zero Omega since he answered my concern last time a few months ago or any Dev can answer it if they know anything about it.
I was wondering when the forum, the AMC, would have its rule and guildlines updated? Zero Omega said a plan for that would be in the works for this year, but it has been a few months and there has still not been any changes to that forum's rules. Any updates on this or if any other forums are going to have their outdated rules changed so more freedom of conversation can happen especially in the AMC forum?

Simply nuking people's votes doesn't seem like enough of a deterrent for those that continue to cheat :/

There are definitely discussions that the team wants to have about how to further deal with cheaters if we find that there are multiple instances of cheating, once we have something solidified we'll announce it.
