Biography: His folks where two commissioned officers that met at a banquette. His father was stationed to guard the science division and so Vlad had the rare chance of meeting some of the worlds greatest minds. It was here that an explosion filled the laboratory, killing many individuals and maiming Vlad. The incident left him weak and broken, his limbs not functioning as they once had. And yet with confidence, Vlad was convinced his life was over. His father was abusive, physically assaulting the frail boy when weakness was shown. The old-fashioned marine could not comprehend, nor stomach a disabled son. Thus he relied on drinking, gambling, and prostitution in order to salvage some part of himself he lost in that explosion. His mother was quite the opposite, she violently assaulted him sexually due to her husband’s several affairs and constant neglect. She’d tampered with her son’s medicine in order to satiate her own drug use and put him to sleep for weeks at a time. Unfortunately his father passed and his mother followed not long after. His mother’s last words posed the question of whether or not he’d forgive them for all the years of abuse. To which he replied by reaching for her medical equipment, grabbing the cord that connected power to her life support, handing it to his mother. Without so much as a second thought he enlisted as soon as he was old enough.
