That is long enough ago that I wouldn't recognize you even if I did know you.

Working for the most part. And lately I've been trying to stay cool during the heatwave we're having.

ZaganAzaroth Prof. Moonie Working for the most part. And lately I've been trying to stay cool during the heatwave we're having. sounds fun I hope everyone is well The heatwave is only fun is you're doing something fun like playing in the water. Otherwise, it's dreadful when you're having to wear your work uniform (which consists of black clothing and multiple layers) and work in a poorly air-conditioned portion of the building. xd

beaulolais our cats lay on the porch like furry zombies a month ago they were frisky kitties, but the heat has zapped them I know around here the heat has been zapping everyone's energy. The wildfire smoke that's blown into our area hasn't helped either. Today probably has been the first day that's actually been tolerable - uppers 50s/lower 60s, no smoke (that I can tell), and it actually misted a little bit.

Not everyone has filtered air systems... And if the air conditions are so bad, ideally one would bring the animals inside to help keep them healthy. Or at least minimize the amount of time an animal is outside, if they go stir crazy being inside for too long or need to go to the bathroom outside.

we have three hungry homeless kittens on our porch, trying to adopt us. we do leave food and water out there for the neighborhood cats, so maybe they passed the word? they ones are so young, their eyes are still blue. we already have three indoor cats, a youngster, a teen sort of one, and an granny. so that is enough; we will have to transport these to a no kill shelter (nearest one is 20 miles away) when they open on Monday
