 Hige looked at Blue, his tamer, and grinned. "Yes we can handle this Blue. Go on out. You said that some of the rookies need to get battle experience. While yes they probably could get some from around here, you did mention that there's a tamer who has a training ground area. Far better to do any training there than here." He said while nudging the human to the door of their home. "Yes but Hige... there's a lot of babies here now. Plus Hestia's still an egg and all of the troublemakers have come home." Blue resisted, "There's bound to be some problem from them. I'm just worried..."Hige faked a gasp and acted like he had been wounded. "Worried I can't handle it!?" He cried out before letting out a little 'pffftttt'. He sighed and shook his head. "No trust in my abilities. Besides Blue.... the other Blue will be here with me. Most of the rookies are off wandering about or are going with you. Plus there's still some champions and Thanatos will be here too. I mean can't ask for more help than an ultimate." He said once more pushing his tamer to the door.
He finally got her to go outside where a small group of digimon, mostly rookies, were waiting for her. "Look at how many are eager to go. If you don't take them.... imagine how disappointed and destructive they will be." He was pretty sure that made up the humans mind as she sighed and pulled out her digivice to have the majority of the digimon be stored there.

Blue snorted as she watched her mate persuaded their tamer to leave with most of the rookies who wanted to train. "A bit heavy handed don't you think Hige?" She asked as he walked back inside the now large house. "I'm pretty sure we didn't need to go through all of this trouble to be mostly alone. We probably could have just left and went on a date.""Well sure I guess. But Blue.. human Blue did ask us if we could watch the babies." Hige replied as he walked towards a different room in the house, "I mean how can you resist those cute faces? Plus Blue agreed to bring us so good food when she gets back." His mate graced him with another snort at that comment.
Finally reaching the nursery room Hige looked in over the high baby gate at the little ones. "Okay so head count... there's Hestia's egg with K...." The Youkomon was sleeping curled up around the egg which helped deter any baby rough housing around it. "And there's Renard... who's eating... something again.""Something he shouldn't be." Blue commented before jumping over the gate. She went over to the little Nyaromon and poked him on the head. "No little one. That's not for eating." She said, "Spit it out and we'll get you something good to eat for a snack. It is about that time." Renard quickly spat out a soft block and wiggled his little tail in excitement. Blue chuckled and looked around the room.
"There's Melpomene off by herself again... Come on Mel. It's snack time."

Hige continued the head count and spotted a little fox digimon staring at K. "There's Miltiades.... and Saiph. So that makes 4 plus an egg.... I feel like we're missing someone.""Lost someone already dear?" Blue asked with a grin as she herded the babies over to the gate. She chuckled when Hige began to sputter. "I'm kidding. Hideyoshi is right here." She turned slightly to show the newest baby was on her back.Hige sighed in mock relief and then grinned at Blue. "You're so good at this. I know you'll make a good mom when we finally have some of our own." He tilted his a little seeing Blue's look of shock. "What. We have always talked about having a litter of our own. .... Are you.... are you no longer sure? That you want kids?" He asked, his tail and ears drooping.

Blue looked at Hige in shock and slowly shook her head. "I.... I don't know anymore. I mean we've always talked about it but like it was something that was far off in the future or was never going to happen..." She said looking down, "I do want kids but I'm not sure if I'm ready. I do okay with these babies but what if that's not true with my own babies."
Hige made a soft noise and moved a little closer to the gate that was currently separating them. "Blue.... I know you'll ma-" He was cut off due to a loud crash that happened from another room further in the house. "What was that?!" He looked in the direction the noise came from and listened carefully. He heard muffled noise like someone was speaking but couldn't hear what they were saying. He did hear his own instincts yelling at him to go investigate. "Hold that thought Blue. I have to go see what that was. Keep an eye on the babies for me, please?" He waited for her nod before loping down the hall to see what was going on.

Reaching the end of the hall Hige stepped into the kitchen area. Where he was promptly greeted by the sight of an Impmon and and Vulpymon about ready to duke it out. The Impmon was holding a yellow mask and was clearly taunting the fox digimon.Azrael held the mask just out of reach of the Vulpymon and grinned. "Hahahahahahaha look at the freak! No mask to hide behind anymore! Bet'cha can't get it!" He taunted the other digimon and danced back as they lunged at him. "Hey Belial catch!" He then threw the mask over to the red Impmon who was standing behind the Vulpymon."Just give it back! Little cretin! I will make you pay for this!" Phantom yelled just before lunding at Azrael. She was too slow in reaching him and even slower to jump up and try to snag her mask when they threw it. She turned around and growled at Belial. "Give. It. Back!" She yelled before charging at him.Belial easily caught the mask and laughed at Phantom's threat. "What are you going to do? Cry?" He mocked before laughing. He side stepped out of the way and put his foot out to trip Phantom who went crashing into the wall."ENOUGH!" Hige yelled walking into the room, "Azrael. You are so very lucky that Blue was not here to hear what you said to Phantom. You know that Phantom is not the only one with a scarred face who hides behind a mask! You should be ashamed of yourself! You might has well just called your own tamer a freak." He glared at Azrael until the Impmon dropped his gaze and began to kick his one foot out as if he was ashamed of his actions.
Hige then turned to look at Belial. "Give Phantom her mask back." He said seeing that Belial was ready to make some smart a** remark, "Don't even bother. If you don't do what I saw I will make you pay for it. Do you really want me to beat you back into an egg?" Belial scoffed and threw the mask over at Phantom where it landed at her feet. "Go outside and find something else to do." He waited until they both left before turning to Phantom. "Sorry about that. Are you okay?"

Phantom picked up her mask and put it back on. "Yeah fine. I could have handled them though. I don't need you fighting my battles Hige." She replied shooting him a glare before leaving down the hallway.Hige sighed and shook his head. Rookies. He just didn't get them sometimes. He turned back around and headed back to the nursery. Blue was doing her best to keep the babies occupied and was currently laying down while they swarmed her.
"Hmmm... looks like you're under attack. Are you going to make it?" Hige said while grinning.Blue rolled her eyes at her mate. "Oh no. I'll never make it. Save yourself." She said before looking at him serious, "Is everything okay? I heard another crash and shouting." Hige nodded to her and she gave him a slight nod. "Good. Because these little ones all really want that snack promised to them." She chuckled when she saw the look on Hige's face at her comment. "Let me guess you were just in the kitchen and forgot the snacks.""Yes he did. Fortunately I had just walked in when he was walking out. Good thing I know where the snacks for the babies are." Flannery said walking over to the gated door with a small tray covered in snacks. She had Hige lift her up so she could get over and help give the babies their snacks.

Blue and Flannery passed out the snacks for the babies to eat. Once they were done Blue helped Flannery back over the gate. "Alright little ones. It's time for a story and then it will be nap time." She announced. A few of them whined about nap time (mostly the in-training ones) and other immediately tried to roll off to play with a toy or blow bubbles.
It took Blue a few minutes to wrangle all of the kids but she did manage it. She got them all placed in their little beds and sat down before them all. "Alright... let's do the story of the Three Little Goats..." She said before beginning the story.
Hige watched from the other side of the gate while his mate read a story to the babies. While she had that handled he wandered about the house to make sure that none of the rookies or other champions were getting into trouble. It didn't seem like it so he just waited in the den area for his mate.
As Blue finished up the story all of the babies were asleep. K gave her a nod, which she returned, before she left the room. She quietly leaped over the gate and sniffed. She could smell that Hige went off towards the front of the house. She followed his scent until she ended up in the den.
"There you are. Leaving me with all of those baby digimon and not helping." She lightly teased.

Hige looked up as Blue walked in and grinned. "You looked like you had it all under control. I didn't want to rile them all up again." That got a faint chuckle out of her. After a minute he grew serious. "What I was saying before Blue." He could see she was about to protest and held up a paw, "Just let me say this... You'll make a great mom Blue. You do a wonderful job with these babies and you'll only get better when we do finally have kids ourselves. You may not see it but I think... no I know you're ready to be a mom when we do have babies." He paused to take a breath and smiled sweetly at her.
"I'm not saying we need to have some now. I'm just telling you what you just don't want to see for whatever reason. We can take our time and when it happens it happens and we'll be ready. Besides it's not like you'll be raising them on your own. I'll be here raising them with you. As will Blue and every other digimon in this house."
Blue listened to what Hige said and after a minute some tears filled up in her eyes. When he was finished she walked over to him and nuzzled him. He let her get that out of her system before suggesting that they lie down and relax, enjoy the peace and quiet while the babies slept. She agreed and curled up on the floor with him.
"Hige...." She said after some time had passed, "I think I am ready."
Hige grinned to himself as Blue admitted to both of them that she was ready. "I told you, you were. Rest now. I'll keep an ear out for the little ones." It wasn't long before she was asleep and he was dozing off despite what he said. It didn't last long as a loud and piercing wail filled the house. "WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Soon it was followed by another and then another until all of the babies were crying. Hige groaned but got up and went to go check on the babies after assuring his mate that he had this.
