The story:
Asa dragged his body about his apartment. He was so sleepy. His body quaked threatening to drop him. His eyes of gold fluttered as he tried to gather his things. The body demanded sleep even as he started to pack. He gulped. He didn't have much time. Asa frowned. He really enjoyed this place. He was doing so well to. Asa got a job as a bus boy at a nearby restaurant. He was earning money. He was having a life. A quiet under the radar life where he could make himself a new persona. He hadn't had to run in such a long time.... “I'm so stupid!” Asa scowled at himself finishing one pack up. “Focus Asa. You have to move...” He yawned slinging the back pack over his shoulder. Asa needed a few more things before he could leave. He went for the cash he stashed in under the counter. He was glad he saved. Deep down somewhere he knew he would mess up and need to run again. Another yawn came. He fought it. Asa smiled a bit at the cash and started for the door.
He thought carefully. He could get out of town, but needed to avoid a trail. This also meant creating a new identity once more. He sighed. “Stupid...” His mind lingered over the day's events. He was at the job rush time. They needed so many tables and dishes needed to be done. His eyes had fallen on a girl maybe 11? She was pale. She sat between her parents hardly eating. He could feel it. Asa saw her fall over and rushed over to the child's side. The parents were already in tears. A incurable disease had take the child and was in the final stage. The mother crying. The father cradling her. Asa leaned in and touched the child's cheek. He felt like something wrapped itself around him and squeezed him completely. The girl opened her eyes and he staggered back dizzy. She was in perfect health and from what the news beamed 'A miracle.' Asa healed the girl completely and exposed himself to those who hunted him for so long.
Asa eased out his apartment. He closed the door clenching the door handle. He just got it too. All gone once again because he couldn't let things be... He took off and headed outside. Asa paused once his foot hit the concrete. His eyes locked onto the men before him. Suits, well trained, and about 5 of them coming out of a SUV. They spotted him. Without a thought, he bolted right into the massive crowd. They were hot on his trail. He willed his legs to go faster. Asa threw whatever he could in his path causing more and more chaos behind him. He hoped he lost as many as he could before ducking down a street. A bad move as it was gated up. He climbed fast. Asa couldn't get caught. There was no telling what they wanted or what they would do to him. Asa fell getting caught on the metal cutting his leg. He recovered for a second. He only allowed so much before darting off once more. He turned left. He then turned down another back way. Asa ran until he was sure he was distant enough.
He leaned against the near by wall wheezing. He had to figure out where he was now. Faster he got out of town the safer he would be. He glanced about the street before trying to blend into the crowd. His traits were normal enough. Only his eyes would give him away really. Asa took long deep breaths through his nostrils. As he went, he glanced about trying to figure out where he was. He crossed the street and his eyes made contacted once more with those who targeted him. NO... Asa headed down the nearest alley. “No.. no no...” Dead end. No escape. He could go back and make it. They weren't that close. Asa turned and there they were blocking his path.

Asa woke up. He was on a couch curled and drained. How long did he sleep? It seemed like forever since he actually slept. He was hardly ever asleep for long with his everlasting paranoia. He still had all his clothes.
