I looked through the shops and it seems everything costs Gaia cash. Are there no shops with clothes or accessories for Platinum? Or do we just buy stuff with Platinum through trades? I'm confused ... there's been so many changesssss. gaia_bear

Platinum has basically replaced Gold.

shops are useless IMO.

its all about the Marketplace.

Yeah, the marketplace is where to get the best items.
But if you want to buy from the shops, most of them do use platinum

You may have been looking at just the first few shops in the list
There are several cash shops: la victoire, mecha neko, and rococo
Prize & Joy still takes tickets and The Treehouse takes wing stickers
But the rest take platinum as far as I'm aware... most items are just 1p
Tho phin phang (aquarium shop) for instance, has both cash + plat items
